This independent pharmacy is a rare gem in today's era of monopolies, retail chains, and an endless abundance of gimmicks and schemes set in motion by insurance companies, PBM's and other super powers such as CVS Health aka CVS Caremark aka Silverscript aka CVS PHARMACY. It's a sad shame that good hearted, honest and beyond helpful independent pharmacy owners now have to battle yet another giant vulture picking at what little reimbursement they receive for prescriptions. Over ninety percent of people don't realize or recognize the fact that CVS Caremark the insurance company which owns all of Silverscript and Aetna, itself is owner by CVS Pharmacy. So not only does CVS Pharmacy own two of the largest insurance companies in existence, they also own almost 90% of all federal and state government insurance plans. So CVS Pharmacy owns almost all of the insurance companies, they own almost all of the Speciality and Mail order pharmacies, they own pharmaceutical manufacturing companies and they are the largest retail pharmacy chain in existence. So basically CVS pharmacy owns every aspect of the pharmaceutical industry from drug manufacturing, the insurance companies that cover these drugs, the retail and mail order pharmacies that fill and dispense these medications and last but not least they even own the audit companies that conduct pharmacy audits on behalf of other PMS and third party insurers. With that being said I commend the dedicated and pleasurable pharmacist at Prescription Plus. I have been going to Syed for over 30 years and I have had only wonderful experiences filling my prescriptions with him. He is an angel that does anything necessary to help his customers. When my insurance wouldn't cover an antibiotic I desperately needed, Syed gave me the medicine for cost - $150 cheaper than any chain or other independent pharmacy ( checked all 8 pharmacies in Briarcliff and Ossining, and all their prices were at least $60 higher than Prescription Plus). Syed knows me and my family, my medical history, and my medications. He is approachable and knowledgable and has helped me in several situations where I was being misdiagnosed, or prescribed ineffective medication repeatedly. They treat me with respect and curtesy, they know my name, they greet me with warmth and compassion and above all they actually care about me and my health needs. They aren't trying to rip me off or sell me medicine, they actually want to see me get better and healthy at Prescription Plus. im a 4th year law student that came in to pick up my prescription the pharmacist broke every law in \the book. first he questione my doctor, saying he couldt find her?? at first just said he never recrivrf any prescriptions for me, then after wasting my time. he started asking me questions about my doctor. ny being a one person consent tape i recored me telling him that im in need of assistance and not feeling well, it was my 3rd day off my xanax x where i usually cat a seizure going cold turkey like this, i told him i i felt like he was completly neglecting my needs, putting me in harm, acting like he knew belter then my doctor and even questioning my doctor . then admiting that they "just didnt want to dill my medicayion.m if anybody has received similat issues from this peson ehich i feelborderlines on ifi didnt go to the nearest hospital his negligence could have killed me. please reach out to me if anybody else faced this. not only will i have his license but i think he deserves to be in jail. i coukdnt breathe and said i needed medical assistANCE, HEE WOULDNT EVEN Call an ambulANCE!!! read more

The other review seems to be when they were somewhere else. Now they're on Croton Avenue near the Dunkin Donuts/ supermarket. Pass the Walgreens down the street and GO HERE. The pharmacist is very good to deal with. They go above and beyond. The bright side is that Grace's Gifts is full of incredible gifts. My sister gave birth to a baby boy and she LOVED all the gifts I gave the baby AND I made a basket for her with their lotions and things. Gracie's Gifts has the best stuff. I had used CVS pharmacy for many years.I was disappointed most of the times I needed to refill prescriptions.The menu on their recording many times would tell me that my medication was ready for pickup and I would get there to find out it not only wasn't ready but they needed to order it.Prescription Plus pharmacy is really excellent!!5 stars.And their prices are good.Stephen read more

Terrible customer service! As soon as I walked in there I got an attitude from the pharmacist. Definitely will be sticking to Walgreens.
