Absolutely the worst drug store. Barely any staff. One person handling a register, the photo pick up and answering questions, who has often walked away ..probably stocking shelves as well. Always an issue with customers at the register too so a long wait to check out. Often the pharmacy is closed unexpectedly on weekends so you can't get prescriptions. Needs more staff. Giving 1 star because when pharmacist is in they do try to move along prescription pick up. Otherwise don't bother. I waited at register 15 mins while cashier assisted 1 customer...never acknowledged me at all. I dumped my things on counter and left. read more

Edit appt: wlgrn.com/vaccmng Reply STOP to opt out. When I got there, I was told there was no staff today to give vaccines. Walgreens needs to work on their communications. Absolutely terrible service. No wonder they have such bad reviews here and on Facebook. They sent me appointment reminder and I showed up on time only to find out that pharmacy has in fact been closed, and nobody informed us although ours was the last appointment of the day. The next day they told me that them cancellng my appointment does not mean I will be accomodated later in any way. My advice: if appointment date is important to you, don't schedule with them. And don't trust reminders, call and check that they are actually open. read more

This is one of worst Walgreens I've ever been in. Always a long wait. Today, I went at 5pm to pick up a script and the pharmacy was closed. I needed my prescription!!!! Website claims they are open until 9 pm. I called and was on hold for over 10 minutes. Wish my insurance didn't force me to use this pharmacy. read more

UPDATE: They still haven't shipped my test out! I had to order a new one! Jesus christ. It used to be a lot easier to get your meds filled here. They hired a few airheads here who don't do their jobs properly. When I had to call in my inhaler multiple times over a month and was told it finally arrived, only to find out that they still didn't have it (despite confirming that they did over the phone), I reminded the young lady that I needed it to stay alive, since, y'know, people need to breathe. Her response amounted to "omg I know, right? That's wild." Don't know if everyone working here is even qualified. However, that happened a while ago, and I was willing to overlook that...except for the fact that I dropped an expedited overnight FedEx package off here (they are an official drop off site), containing my COVID19 test, and they still haven't sent it. As you may recall from earlier in this review, I need an inhaler because I am asthmatic. I am also immunocompromised. Getting accurate results back from my covid test could be the difference between life and death for me. If I get a false negative due to improper handling of the package, and thus delay any necessary treatment, I will have a much higher risk of dying than the general population. I would go to a testing site in person, but, as you may once again recall from earlier in the review, I am immunocompromised. Going to a testing center is riskier for me because, if I don't have it, that would increase my risk of catching it unnecessarily. I would like think a pharmacy, which exists to dispense potentially lifesaving treatments, would have greater respect for human life...but I guess that's what happens when corporate cuts the budget on everything and overworks all 3 of their employees at every location. read more

This is the second time I had made an online appointment for flu shot and when I got there the store was open but the pharmacy was closed. They have all my information, so they should have called me to let me know they couldn't honor my appointment. A blatant disregard for vulnerable people who need to be medicated and cared for. The store employees had no answer except to say "oh they gotta stop doin that". Worst service ever! read more

Monday February 10th went into this store around 9:40pm. Then a few minutes later the clerk walks up to me and says the store is closed!! No announcement just were close. Then after she rings me up and over charged me for sale items I bought she try's to get me out of the store when I questioned my receipt. So guess what nasty bitch !!!! I went with my wife to buy some shaving products and I added 2 cans of beer to our cart. The clerk asked to see both our IDs. I am 55 and had my ID. My wife did not have an ID. She is 45. The clerk refused to sell us the beer. Way to go Walgreens--you just lost a customer forever. We live one block away but I will walk 1 mile to the CVS up the hill before I ever go back in your store. read more

This has to be the jankiest, nastiest Walgreens I have ever been to. Start with the poorly designed parking lot. DO NOT rely on this Walgreens for any prescription that you need in a timely manner. Their pharmacy cancels vaccine appointments scheduled online - without notice and will randomly close for the day - no explanation, just a sign off the printer taped on the door stating that the pharmacy is closed for the day. So if you need asthma medicine to - breathe - or a flu shot, know that choosing to get the scrip or the shot here is an enormous crapshoot and you'd better allow at least two to three visits before you can pick it up. Unfortunately my healthcare uses Walgreens - so I'll be switching to their optum mail option or driving to Chappaqua while sick if I need something immediately. Walgreens should be ashamed of this store and its lack of concern for people needing medical supplies. read more

We're in the middle of this pandemic and this pharmacy doesn't offer curbside delivery for medication. 2 people in my house are compromised, and 2 are over 70, and I have to go into the store to get my moms medication that she can't wait 2 weeks to have delivered. It's just irresistible if the company at this point in time to not offer that. read more

Very unprofessional staff.. they are rude .. I'm 52 years old and the 18 year old cashier would not sell me a pack of cigarettes because beacuse my licence had expired on October 13 on my birthday.. the manager was even worth.. he stared yelling at my girlfriend and cancell the transaction and told us to go to 7 eleven.. what kind of customer service is this?? I really think you guys should train your staff .. to be nice and polite.. instead of kicking customers out of the store.. at no point I was disrespectful to the staff in the contrary they were very disrespectful to my girlfriend and I.. You will never see me in that store again.. and I'm passing the word around to all my friends and my family.. read more

I recently had a bad experience at this store. During this time of covid 19 people are suppose to wear a face mask. On this day 3 customers were not wearing masks, when we informed the manager we were told they can not ask them to leave. However no one even asked them to put on a mask. All this while the store intercom is reminding everyone to be safe and wear a mask. So if you want to risk it go to walgreens. read more

Walgreens stores have lost their Mind. BOYCOTT THEM . My husband was going to Walgreens to buy 12 pack of Corona, snickers, eye drops for my daughter. He asked me to jump in the car and go with him for the ride to the corner store. We get to the register and my husband already had his ID and money in his hand and the cashier says "I need your wife's ID " Why do you need my wife's ID I am the customer I showed you my ID and I am paying? I ask for the manager because this makes no sense. Manager says that they must card everyone who walks in with me because I'm buying Alcohol! So If I walked in with a friend you going to ID them? If I walk in with little kids you going to ID them ? I told my wife to walk out . Manager said he still won't sell me the beer because we walked in together! He said even if I walk out of the store and come back in he still won't sell me the beer because my wife didn't show her ID ? I WALKED OUT !! I LEFT MY ITEMS ON THE COUNTER AND THEY HAVE LOST A REGULAR 10 YEAR CUSTOMER because of this dumb policy ! For the record we are in our 50's and my wife left her bag home because I asked her to jump in the car . I checked the internet and see that this policy does exist and that Walgreen's is losing vendors and customers and I see why!!! read more

I have had a number of issues with the photo department. Every few months, I think I'll give it another shot and I am deeply disappointed when they do not process my order or cannot find my order. They are not reliable for photo cards or photo gifts. read more

I am a physician and I was attempting to return a call from the pharmacy about a prescription I had written. I was kept on the phone for a full half hour and I eventually hung up without talking to anybody and without resolving the problem. My only recourse was to leave a voice message for the pharmacist in the hope that my call will be returned. This is the second such experience that I have had with this Walgreens. read more

Pharmacy is great! Each and every pharmacist goes the extra mile for you. I'm on a lot of medication and they always make me feel like I matter. Other local pharmacists make me feel like a bother or Im treated like a number. Today Mr. Philips was the pharmacist who did battle with my insurance company on a holiday weekend to get me what I needed. I love these guys! read more

Hope your not trying to by Dr. Pepper. They advertise it and never ever have it! (FYI - that's also called bait and switch) Try asking, good luck, I've been told probably 10 times "we're getting a delivery in a few days, check back" it never shows up. I would love to know the actual reason why this happens. Leave it to me to pick the one thing that doesn't seem to exist in this location. If your not going to stock it, say that! don't make people run around etc. just annoying. On a good note, the people working there seem to be nice. read more

I felt compelled to review our local walgreens. The pharmacy is great, as another reviewer stated, the pharmacists really do go the extra mile. We used to go to prescriptions plus on pleasentville rd. they were constantly out of stock, and bad customer service. However the experience with Walgreens has always been awesome and professional.
