I am in this store at least three days a week. They always have a great supply, and their weekly sales really save me money! There is always an employee stocking nearby if I need to ask a question. Michaels not only has limited stock, but their prices are high, and they usually have only one employee at checkout while the rest is self-checkout. My favorite employee at the La Quinta Hobby Lobby is Lindsey. She is always upbeat and helpful. She knows the store inside and out, so I always look for her if I'm having trouble locating an item. So many times I have had an issue making something, and thankfully Lindsey was there to suggest an item to solve my problem. I have a Christian upbringing, and one of my biggest problems with some Christians is how they judge others by the way they look. Lindsey dresses differently and has a different style than most of the employees at Hobby Lobby, and it makes me so happy that the Christian management doesn't judge her by her appearance. She is a true asset to the store because of how well she treats customers and other employees.

They had scattered shelves all over the store with comics, new and old, slabbed and raw. But any sort of quality control was sorely lacking. Also, kids. I don't have an issue with kids running around however when I'm trying to seriously work on my hobby the last thing I want is kids all over, let alone them (and others) pawing through everything. Yes it's a large store in a mall so that's fine in general, just not my thing. They really should change the name to Pops and a Few Comics. That'd be more appropriate. It's not a bad place by any means. It's just definitely not comic book-focused. And I am.

This store is rather confusing, since it feels as if partial departments are throughout the store. I did not find what I needed, but in the clearance area, I did find some fun things. The prices were more "on sale" than clearance, but the price felt fair. In the sales floor, I didn't find anyone that could help, but at the register a very nice guy helped me. They have a self checkout line, unless you pay with cash. They are not set up to accept cash in the self checkout line. So, the place seems good and I will probably go again.
