I called to ask about replacing the printhead on my Epson inkjet. The person answering the phone was more helpful than I could have ever anticipated. For the type of printer I have and the amount of use it gets, he frankly said it would cost more to repair than to replace. He educated me on several points so when I DO get a replacement, I can make an informed choice. He wasn't going to make a dime on this, but he was extraordinarily helpful and friendly, and generous with his time. My other printer is a monochrome laser, and if it should ever need repair I know exactly where I'm going to take it - Central Printer Resources. read more

Central Printer Resources - The printer with the clogged printhead. - Electronics Repair Near Me - Palm Springs, California

George was very honest and told me our 3-year old Canon wireless color inkjet printer was economically infeasible to repair. It hurt I was out the diagnostic fee, but CPR was able to handle disposal, so the fee applied to electronic device recycling. They made great recommendations for a suitable home office replacement and I appreciate the advice given. read more

Usually they have competitive pricing & where else does one get a friendly, cheerful smile with your transactions.

Everything about Lasr Ink is great. Professional, economical and user-friendly. On my radio show we "challenge" listeners to "stump" the folks there w/ a question or a repair issues and so far the score is Lasr Ink 100% to 0. AND then we relate the stories ON THE AIR. Listen to my show and report your experience the staff over there and let me know. Joey English. www.joeyenglish.com. read more

My HP Envy Inspire 7200e series printer is less than a year old, but I had no luck getting hold of HP for assistance when I started having problems with the printer. After tests showed the ink levels were fine, I spent hours trying to fix various problems. Finally, I gave up and went to Central Printer Resources. George ran the same tests, but by that point, all that came out were blank pages. He showed me how to test the ink cartridges by hand. Both were empty. Replaced both cartridges. (Their ink prices are excellent!) The new cartridges, along with the work I had done on the printer before taking it in, fixed my printer problems. They only charged me for the ink.Great customer service! read more

Excellent and timely service. Very affordable . Very honest. We are glad we found this company. read more

Buy your printer ink here! They have incredible prices compared to the big box office supply store down the road. Call ahead to make sure they have your exact printer ink replacement. I also got a great price on a ream of paper here. The customer service was excellent. It's also nice to support a local business. The location is super convenient on Ramon just east of the airport south entrance. I just printed my first paper after installing the new ink. I cannot believe what a difference a new ink cartridge makes. read more

Central Printer Resources - Refill printer ink at an incredible price! - Electronics Repair Near Me - Palm Springs, California

Brought in a printer that was only outputting blank pages. George told me what the charges would be to diagnose and fix it if warranted right up front. While the printer was older, the quote was reasonable and in my mind, worth an attempt at repairing. Later that afternoon, George called to tell me he was able to fix the problem and I could pick up the printer THE SAME DAY! I don't know where you could possibly get better service than what I was afforded by CPR. A truly exceptional experience. read more

I found them by doing a google search... Man! am I glad I did.. My POS Epson cash drain inkjet printer finally stopped working.. I must have paid for that printer 15x over with the ink it made me buy!! They couldn't repair it as it is not designed to be repaired .. So I bought a pre owned Brother laser printer for about what I would pay for another ink guzzling Epson.. Love this printer hooked right up to my computers and off we go.. I have to say both George and Jim were beyond awesome with their knowledge and time... if you are in market for another printer you would be foolish not to stop here first.... read more

I love doing business with Central Printer Resources. Many times they've repaired various HP printers and often have not charged me. And it's great saving money on remanufactured ink cartridges. About a year ago, I finally purchased a refurbished laser printer at a great price and I love it. It's so much more reliable and economical than the HP inkjet printers. Denise, Jack, George and Jim have all been a pleasure to work with. They treat me like family. I won't shop anywhere else for my printer needs! What a great family owned and operated business! Centrally located too! read more

They fixed our printer free of charge and we purchased a full set of remanufactured toner cartridges from them that are working great.

I would give these guys zero stars if possible. They completely ripped me off. Charged me $40 and did absolutely NOTHING to the printer. All they did was run the built in printer head cleaning program. These are some of the most dishonest people I have ever dealt with here in Palm Springs. Do not under ANY circumstances take your equipment to these guys, they are a complete rip off, totally dishonest. read more

I scored a large format printer for free that had been sitting for a couple years in for a tune-up and was given a 50/50 chance of the printer coming back to life. I took the chance because I was impressed with their honesty with the situation. Six months later, I'm reminded of that honesty and quality work every time a flawless print finishes. When this printer finally dies, I'll go here for an upgrade. There's a reason why they've been in business so long. read more

Excellent customer service. A great value on commercial printers and ink supply. I recommend coming in and seeing the printer selections.

Great staff. Was able to donate a working printer that I didn't want to see go to e-waste.

Great store to do business with. Easy to get access and parking. Owner Jack Lacy is almost always present and friendly to talk with.

Denise (and this business) is AWESOME. I couldn't get my printer door shut after replacing the toner cartridge. As it turns out, Amazon sent me the WRONG cartridge, which Denise politely pointed out. She was as delightful in person as she was on the phone before I went there. I bought a new toner from her on the spot, because I want to support her business. read more

Central Printer Resources is the best place to get your printer repaired in the Coachella Valley. Jim provides great customer service and provides a fair price for the services performed. Jim is very honest in his dealings and I completely trusted his advice. I was able to save myself a lot of money by getting my HP Laserjet repaired at Central Printer Resources rather than having to go out and purchase a new printer. read more

I have been waiting to write this review for the past several months, but I waited to see how it would be resolved. My Brothers multifunction printer was under warranty and top feeder would continuously jam. Brothers directed me to CPR for factory service. With work order in hand, I drop off the printer in January 2014. After two months, I spoke to Jeff and he explained they were waiting for parts. I really needed the printer, so I picked it up with understanding the store would call me when the parts came in. For two additional months, I periodically called them inquiring about the parts. Then in late May 2014, Jeff returned my call and informed me that parts came in, but were then returned to Brothers. He also mentioned that he could not reorder the parts since the work order had been closed (motherf**ker). I immediate called Brothers and explained to them. The order was still open and they provided me with instruction on how store could reorder parts online. Soon after, I faxed Jeff a copy of invoice and the instruction. Few days later, I spoke to Jeff and learned he still had not order the parts! But he said he would. Then suddenly, Jeff, kept in contact with me; that parts were order, that it arrived, and that printer was repaired. Perhaps this was learning process for the staff (I hope so). read more

Looking for replacement ink cartridges for a couple of printers. This business has an assortment of ink cartridges as an adjunct to their prime business of providing other computer and typewriter services. As a result, the replacements I wanted could be ordered and be available the following day. Turned out Walmart and Staples were nearby and had the cartridges needed readily available, and because of their ability to buy in larger quantities, the cost was also lower. read more

Have cleaned, resorted, and fixed my typewriters for years with their experts. I recommend them for large prints and printer repair.

I just came back from CPR, and those ppl there are really Stupid and Slow. They charge me $15 for somewhat check my printer. To fine the problem with it, it would take them the good part of the day just to download the disk that I have and told them I would bring it in, and to fix the parts I'm needing. They Did Not want to work on the printer and just tried to get me to Buy a New one from them. Don't Go there unless you want to loss $15 and get talked to slowly. It's a waste of time to go there. I'll Never go back there again !! read more

When my ink cartridge was not available at the two big box stores near me, I thought I'd give them a try. I bought the XL Epson 200 black ink cartrige. Yes, it was cheap, but you get what you pay for. This cartridge didn't even last as long as the REGULAR size one that I usually buy from the big stores. I won't be back. read more
