    They fixed our printer free of charge and we purchased a full set of remanufactured toner cartridges from them that are working great.

    Excellent customer service. A great value on commercial printers and ink supply. I recommend coming in and seeing the printer selections.

Well, I didn't know if it's a thing now or it's just this location but they had party city inside it. It's a small little section with mainly balloons and some party supplies. It's somewhat a good concept...lol... Work supplies and party supplies all together. The store itself is decent in size. Massive parking lot with the strip mall. But the whole layout of the place is a bit different. They have pretty much everything we needed and then some. It's like one isle I'll pick up some pens and paper, the next is a printer and then there's cleaning supplies and laundry detergent. A mosh posh of everything. Another one stop shop. Then you have some things that looks like it's been there since the store opened. Old furniture that they're selling. And equipment that seen better days. Loads of the boxes were pretty dusty without even touching them. You could see it. Clearly when walking by. I mean, they have what I needed which is great. It's not a place I would come on the regular but it does work. Staff were all pretty friendly.

I arrived at the store with three tasks to accomplish: 1) An Amazon return 2) Pickup my order 3) Recycle some ink cartridges When I arrived I looked for the UPS counter. On that counter was taped a message saying go to text services. When I got to tech services, there was no one at the counter and a line of five people waiting for services only one did Amazon returns. There was no one at that station. We all waited long enough that at least one person gave up and left. Finally, a person came over from the checkout area and started handling things as quickly as he could. When I reached the desk I told him that I had these three tasks to accomplish and he very efficiently handled all three. The reason for my less than wonderful review is not the fault of the clerk, who did his job as effectively as he possibly could, but of store management that understaffs their checkout and tech services area while people are standing around in the print services area. Bad management.

    Looks like I am the only one that doesn't love Desert Cow Computers. I had a virus that MalWare…read morebytes couldn't fix. I checked around and noticed all the great comments from Desert Cow customers, so I called them. At first Service seemed great, they make house calls. When the tech arrived I mentioned that before the virus my PC had been getting slower and slower over the last few months. I asked him about installing more memory and He said I had plenty of memory. He noticed I had MalWare bytes, System Mechanic, and another software that was suppose to speed up the PC. He recommended I get rid of all and go with Norton. He mentioned that a solid state hard drive would make my system faster. So I agreed that he install a new drive, get rid of the viruses and all Malware and anti-virus software and Install Norton. It took 7 days to get my PC back (One of those days was a holiday, but 6 days is still a long time). After it was delivered and setup the PC started up so fast. It took just a few seconds to boot up. For a few seconds I was excited, then I was told I would have to re-install all my software. It took me a few hours every day for a week to get all my software re-installed and files moved to where they should be. The solid state drive is great for booting up my PC. It doesn't help when I am moving files, or installing new software. The problem is that my old drive was a Terabyte and it was replaced with a solid state drive that is 1/4 the size. The new drive doesn't hold all my data so most of my data is still on my old slower drive. I don't remember if the size of the drive had been discussed. I just assumed it would be replaced with a drive of the same size, or larger. If it had understood that I was getting a much smaller drive I would never have agreed to replacing it. Even after all this happened I wasn't going to write this. But a few weeks ago I called Desert Cow because I had another virus. The woman who answered told me she was working with another customer and would call me in about 30mins. It's been more than two weeks and no call. I was able to contact Norton and they fixed the problem in a few minutes.

This was an urgent matter and they responded. They picked up both towers on Friday and brought them back on Monday morning. The problem was resolved and I could SEE all of my files and my contacts. WHEW!! It is scary not being plugged in if you know aht I mean.
