Stopped in to visit this black woman-owned sneaker boutique the only one in the United States, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. The boutique was located in a vibrant part of town, and upon entering, I was immediately struck by the unique selection of sneakers on display. The boutique carried a wide range of sneakers, from classic retro styles to limited edition releases. It appears that the owner could have an eye for fashion and a deep passion for sneakers, which was evident in the way she curated her collection. Each pair of sneakers was carefully selected, and the boutique carried styles for both men and women. The customer service was excellent as well. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to help. On display here she shows her collection she designed in collaboration with Nike which is a pretty humble flex . I am grateful for the opportunity to support such a wonderful business and hope to see more like it in the future.

I'm currently getting back into fitness and needed some new kicks. Premium goods was recommended by a colleague of mine and so I did some research online and thought wow, their prices are very fair. Made a spontaneous trip out to Rice Village and I was thoroughly surprised.. Location: I haven't been to Rice village in a very long time but parking is charged, before it was only the garage but even in front of the establishment there are meters on each parking spots. We can't spend more money and supporting locals when we have to pay for parking, of course I'm sure this is no fault of the establishment. Also restrooms....No convenient restrooms...I don't think I need to elaborate on that. The store: Oh my, I was pleasantly surprised, loved the ambiance and loved the vibes. The decor is very different of a typical shoe store but I loved the minimal and inviting color theme. Plenty of sitting areas for your significant other and kids. Of course mine is very involved with the shopping but that's always a plus. There were a good variety of shoes, clothes and accessories, very clean and organized. Staff: Evan assisted my fiancé and I very pleasant, friendly and patient with us! Extremely helpful and great attitude. It was pretty busy right after we came in but Evan, Lewis and Jeremy held it down! Kudos to you guys!. I left with 2 pair of shoes and a bag! Overall experience was great, highly recommend and I will definitely be back soon!

I spent roughly 15 minutes in the store. In that small window of time, 4 employees greeted and asked me if I needed help. Today's the busiest day I've ever experienced from years of shopping here but they were attentive to every customer walking through. The employee helping me gave me the wrong size after knowing I needed a large and helping me for about 10 minutes. he gave me a medium. I called the same day and they said they would hold it for me. I come in today, and they don't have it and are out of stock in the size I requested they hold. Just very poor customer service and poor communication among staff. Sad part is I have to accept store credit due to no refunds read more

Great shop and customer service! I ordered online and the package was lost in the mail for over a month. This store is terrible at dealing with customer service problems. I purchased a T-shirt and asked about a raffle and the associate said to come in the next day to sign up, so I come in the next day for them to tell me the raffle is online only and that the raffle has already ended so I drove 30 minutes to get to the store to be told that and then drove 30 minutes home. As I was about to leave I called and asked if there was anything that can be done and there way of rectifying it was for me to just follow them on Instagram then I was put on hold and the person that was answered was rude and basically telling me F*** you that's not my problem we can't do anything about it. I had a pleasant experience the day before but if this is how they deal with issues with there clients then I can take my business else where. read more

The store has a very unassuming exterior. I would have totally missed it if I had not been to the original Sid Mashburn in the Westside district of Atlanta. It is an upscale niche-ish menswear / lifestyle store. It mostly caters to those who read GQ religiously. Now that I think about it, I think the store has grown because of the constant exposure it gets in #menswear blogs and magazines. For the lack of better term, I'd say the style of the store is a trendier / less conservative version of Brooks Brothers with better attention to fit. The premise of the store is that you shouldn't expect clothes to fit perfectly off the rack and are meant to be altered. That's why they have an in-house tailor that can alter the items to fit you in exactly the way you want. As far as the prices go, it's not cheap. A good looking suit here costs about 4 grand. Shirts are 150+. They also do bespoke and made-to-measure orders with Kiton and other high-end companies. They mostly focus on their house label but they do carry an assortment of upscale brands that I haven't seen much in Houston yet. -Alden, Edward Green, Filson, Diptyque (well, this one not so much), Levi's I think the quality of the house-label, especially the shirts, is a little disappointing. Sure, the fabric may be a little better but it just doesn't warrant the over-the-top price tag. I feel like you can get decent suits made with Loro Piana or Cerruti for much less if you look in the right place. With that said, the service here is impeccable and that's reflected in the price. I'd recommend this place if you got that River Oak$ money and are looking to add a little flare to your office attire or to "outfashion" your co-workers perhaps.

i have been to this store a handful of times and not one time has anyone ever greeted me. this place has horrible retail customer service... the sizes are limited, they claim to have exclusive items but you can find at other vendors, and way too over priced. i recommend the workers there to act a little more professional because some of the things that has come out of their mouths has been offensive. . . and smile for a minute please. sometimes there is more to do other than be on your face book and look as if your dog died or the world is about to end, especially when someone is waiting for your help, like me! its like if you are not a regular there, you just don't matter to them. which in my opinion is a horrible way to do business. good luck premium goods b/c i will be taking my business else where. read more

I found this gem of a store on our summer vacation. They helped us pick out shoes and gave us really good information. their customer service is top notch! i now only purchase online through them since I live in Florida. Dominque and Manny went above and beyond to make sure I was getting the right show my daughter wanted they answered all of our questions to make sure my experience was excellent! I basically feel like I received the famous Nordstrom customer service experience with these two at this wonderful store. They will always be top of mind when we need the "it" shoe fro our fashion inspired girls! We have also shared the store with family and friends that are also fulfilling their Christmas gifts! read more

Premium goods exceeds expectations in every way imaginable. The store is always super cleaned and well organized, customer service is always so welcoming. I am new to Houston and sometimes shopping alone makes me a little bit intimidated, Brittany here at premium was a GEM, immediately greeted me so welcoming and very quick it felt like I was shopping with a close friend. She helped me find exactly what I was looking for and gave me so much cool Information about the store, every time I go now she greets me by name people don't realize how much that can mean to someone!! She also made me aware that premium has some cool events sometimes for drops and I had the pleasure of attending some, super fun! read more

My son passed away several weeks ago. He was wearing his Premium Goods "houston" hoodie. He loved shopping there. He lived in Maine and his hoodie kept him warm and reminded him of how much he loved his hometown. My husband, my son's girlfriend, and I all wanted to get a houston hoodie to wear in my son's honor but Premium Goods no longer carried that line. However, Joe put in a special order and presented us with 3 hoodies in our individual sizes. They were gifts to us and given to us with such compassion and respect. Premium Goods has always been a store that represents Houston well. They also have people there who really care. I am grateful. read more

I am visiting Houston from NYC and made a destination visit to Premium Goods today recommended by my best friend's daughter that lives in Houston. A cool boutique with an inside design display that reminds me of a fashion shop in Soho in New York City. Professional, friendly and polite staff that could answer my questions and was attentive to my requests. I purchased a simple, yet chic "Houston" T-Shirt to take back to the east coast for my son and a Jordon hoodie for myself with colorful artful design by a female artist. I've been going here since 2004 when Angie would always give my baby a fruit snack to compliment her new pair of fresh kicks. Premium is a household staple for us even attending a private event or 2. Over the years the staff and storefront has evolved, and the service is STILL AMAZING. Speaking of amazing service, LUIS has ALWAYS and FOREVER provided EXCELLENT service every single time I've gone in whether it was a regular day, Back 2 School, Black Friday, or Jordan release day. I would highly encourage anybody looking for exclusive footwear and world class customer service to head to rice village in Houston Texas and stop by Premium Goods. Ask for Evan, Cody, Lewis or Jeremy!!! So this like A.S.A.P !!!! I promise you won't be disappointed!!! Selections are just what the name says...Premium Goods and these guys know how to treat their customers!!! Very knowledgeable and extremely helpful to each other and the customers I've frequented this store for years and it's like fine wine...just keeps getting better with time!!!!! I had the most amazing customer service experience in store with Cody! I came wanting to add a pair of shoes to my wardrobe that was alittle out of my comfort zone and Cody gave me great advice with my style. I didn't know my exact shoe size so he brought out multiple pairs until I got the right fit. He shared deets about future shoe drops and other items they sell in store. It was nice seeing all the other associates being friendly and welcoming to everyone in store. I will 1000% come back to shop at Premium Goods in the near future. read more

I was there only one time and I liked this place. I bought sneakers there. The quality is super, I am wearing them for a long time and they look as new. I can not say that shoes are expensive, the prices are reasonable. Lovely workers helped me to choose my shoes. The store is clean. The choice of shoes is quite big with different brands. The place is not very big and it was not very crowded when I came, but I think if it is crowded it will be difficult to find something. I will definitely return to buy another pair of shoes. read more

Timothy the associate was Super Helpful and Patient with me. Which doesn't Surprise because this is literally the only place I like to bring my nieces and nephews.This was my first time doing Back to School shopping since I am sponsoring a family in need for back to school. Stopped in while walking rice village & it is a great spot to shop for sneakers and other street wear items. I love a spot that carries Nike ACG one thing I especially appreciate about shopping here is the available sizes are found on the tags. It is not a big store so it is not difficult to what you want or need. They have great sales, I like this time especially and never miss it. The quality of shoes is good and the prices are normal. My husband adores this store he says that it is amazing. There is a big variety not only shoes but also accessories. Polite and kind staff. Advice you to check this store out. read more

One of my fave stores anywhere! Great sneaker selection (plus other things!) and simply amazing service. Last time I was in, Evan helped me with a pair of Premium Goods x Nike Sophias and he was super helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. We looked online for hours and couldn't find the Jordan's my son was looking for. I walked into Premium Goods and not only did the have the shoes; they were the best price we had found! They get their inventory directly from the manufacturer so there is no additional mark up! So glad I discovered this place right in the heart of Rice Village!!!!! read more

Visited for my first time and it was a very pleasant experience. Luis was knowledgeable and super helpful with providing guidance on the shoe styles I should try on, having a wider foot. Really makes a difference when you can tell the staff is passionate about their job and the vision. Got a few pairs and will surely visit again soon! read more
