I retired a few years back and donated all of my suits because i never wanted to wear one again.. haha.. well, of course, there comes a time when you need one and I was invited to a local charity event here in Houston. I checked out reviews of various mens' stores in town and visited Norton Ditto on W. Alabama. It was a great experience from the initial consultation, where I received personal attention even though they knew I was not going to purchase anything that day. The saleswoman took her time with me, showed me what was available, and explained their procedures assuring me my suit would be ready in time for the event. I returned a week later, chose a great suit, was measured, and purchased the items. Within a week, my suit was ready.. upon trying it on, it was slightly big in the waist and they immediately re-tailored the pants and also tailored a shirt for me that I had just chosen. I returned a couple days later and picked up the suit which is the absolute finest suit I have ever owned. The service was impeccable, and the quality of the suit far exceeded my expectations. Alden Shoes - made in the USA & carried here! As an Alden Fan this place is pretty awesome. Johnny Mykoff is a shoe expert and will take the time to make sure you get what you want. They'll order you anything you'd like from the Alden line and they have the most in stock line I've even seen. They also have a full line of Robert Graham if you're into shirt with ugly cuffs that scream hey I'm newly divorced. They also carry a line of Gravati shoes which are very impressive. read more

Shopped this mens store yesterday with my husband. Store Manager Roger McMahan was a huge help to us. Quality of merchandise (suits, shirts, ties, shoes, belts, etc.) excellent with lots of price-points available. Tailor on site. We are new to town - Roger seemed to know many of his clients as they stopped in the store (first name basis!) but he still treated us like we had been shopping Norton Ditto for decades. Shoe department even laces on mens dress shoes to ensure best fit. Lots of great product info shared by Roger and his team (origin of maker, materials sourced, etc.). We look forward to shopping here again when my husband needs new work clothes. read more

Nice looking selection. Bad customer service. Do not go to the kid named John. He is easy to spot because his hair is unkempt. I bought one pair of flat fronts to try them out. I want to try things before spending a ton of cash. It seemed like I was an inconvenience while shopping. I tried on a few different sizes, it is called shopping. I asked about buying custom suits for my upcoming wedding. This character John never gave me an answer and again acted inconvenienced by my questions. I will not be taking my business back. No "Dittos" from me. I guest most of their customers buy more than 10 suits at a time. read more

I was in the market for a higher end suit. The service at Norton Ditto is exceptional, and Johns guidance relieved me of any doubt in purchasing the best fitting suit I have ever owned. This was my first step into higher end suits, as I would typically get my suits from Jos. A. Bank or Men's Warehouse. It was a solution for me at the time, but you won't like your suit, I guarantee it. John took exceptional care and went in depth to ensure the suit was the right fit for me. He also took time with me, ensuring I was comfortable with the purchase. Quite a different experience than Nordstroms, as I felt they were just trying to get me into the most expensive thing they had on the floor. We shopped for men's clothing at Harold's in the Heights for several years and after it closed we were referred to Norton Ditto. Sadly, we had nowhere near the shopping experience that we had grown accustomed to with Harold's. My husband purchased a suit full price, had it altered only to have the pants hemmed with two different lengths both which were much too short. He brought the suit home today in a dry cleaning bag - seriously this is how a $2000.00 suit is presented? I just ordered him a new pair of Gravati shoes online- our business with Norton Ditto is finished. read more
