Super Master Appliance

Service was excellent! Once I contacted Super Master I got an immediate response and a scheduled…read moreappointment. Anvar was very professional and easy to talk to about the repairs. He fixed two of my older (2008) Kitchen Aid ovens and cooktop. Years ago a Kitchen Aid repair man said you could not get the parts to fix it. Anvar got the parts with no problem and now it's working perfectly after 10 years! I recommend Super Master. The price was great considering the alternative of replacing the units or living without two burners.

I'm doing this review 3 weeks later because I want to make sure my appliance was still working…read morebefore I did my review. I was torn between 3 and 4 stars...4 stars because they returned my call within 24 hours and 3 stars because of price and business practice (which brought it down from 4/5), and EXTREMELY Pricey!! They charge $85 for the diagnosis, which will be deducted from the Repair cost (C'mon, I knew ppl in the trade, you're paying for it regardless). I pretty much told him what the problem was and what needed to be replaced. I would have done it myself but with recent hand surgery I was handicapped. So the tech did the diagnosis and 'lo and behold', exactly what I told him. I guess they need to go through the motions just to cover their butt. The tech does a little diddle on his cell phone and comes up with a price about $400 and needed a deposit of $150. No breakdown, no estimate nothing to show me on his phone, just that's what its going to cost. (Water valve on a dishwasher). I wrote a check for $150 and asked for a receipt...at least. still no breakdown of parts, labor or house call. (shady in my book...don't show the customer anything) The tech said he'd have to order the part and would be back in a couple of days. I did a little research and the most expensive replacement for that model would have been $60, their charge was ~ $200. Says it was OEM out of Germany. The tech replaced the part and I asked if I could have the old one. He told me no because there was a "core charge". REALLY!!! OK, Car Batteries, Starters and Alternators, Yes, A crappy little water valve...what am I, stupid. I asked for an Itemized receipt and all I got was a total, minus the deposit, otherwise it sounded like it would have been, just pay me and 'see ya later'! Guys, you don't know what I used to do for a living, you probably won't be my first choice if I need help in the future!

Fuse Service

Fuse Service

We had great experience coordinating with FUSE to repair the ice maker on our Viking refrigerator…read more They were very responsive to my initial request for a quote, including a call from a supervisor to hear more about the issue and try to issue a more informed estimate. (Ultimately unsuccessful, but I appreciated the effort.) The technician, Bek, was on time, courteous, and very open about explaining everything he inspected. In just under an hour, he was able to diagnose the problem and replace our ice maker, which he had on hand. One small critique-- it caught me a little off guard to see a tip option on screen when making my payment, but in this case I obliged, considering how well the whole appointment went. I guess that's just tipping culture these days! ‍

I hired Fuse Service when they were Switch Service and they fixed my dishwasher. Vlad, the…read moretechnician, found out that he needed to order an additional part to fix it and would need to make an additional trip. I assumed he would charge for the follow-up visit, but there were no additional charges; I really appreciated his honesty. Recently, I had a text dialog with Russ and found out that Fuse service's HVAC systems as well. I agreed to an annual maintenance plan, but didn't plan on having them out until fall. A few weeks later, while I was out of town in July, I got a message from my Ecobee thermostat indicating that the A/C wasn't working. I texted Russ about this and he showed up after 6PM on a Saturday, the same day I texted him about the issue! He figured out what was wrong right away and just folded the service call into my annual service plan which was, as before with the dishwasher, very generous and much appreciated. I'm literally excited to have Fuse Service as my go to place for appliance repair and HVAC maintenance. I'm used to businesses asking me to write positive Yelp reviews and I don't mind that. But, Fuse did not ask me to write my review.
