I contacted Mark about a Dewalt pressure washer that was having issues running or staying cranked. We scheduled an appointment. He did not call or show up for the appointment. I called him that day. He said he had other projects to complete. We rescheduled. He was OK working on my equipment in my absence so he came to my house. I had the pressure washer and the water hose laid out in my backyard. Marc called me and told me that he had got the equipment running. I was so excited to hear the good news that I paid him using Cash App and tipped him an extra $10 on top of what he charged without ch the machine myself. When I attempt to use the pressure washer, I ran into the same issue before Marc claim he fix the it. I text him called him to have him come back out at a later time with no success. He has not answered my calls nor my text messages therefore I had to hire someone else to repair my machine. I have personally never met the man . I think he lacks professionalism and loyalty to his customers and a willingness to see a project through to the end. I have nothing good to say about my experience and dealing with Mark Small engine repairs. I only hope that for his sake as a businessman, he can see the errors of his way, and begin to repair them before long. I strongly believe that what goes around comes around. read more

I was having problems with my riding lawn mower which is under warranty and I called Briggs & Stratton which is the motor in my Troy-BiLt and they informed me to take the lawn mower to Mark's Small Engine Repair Shop on Seil Road in Joliet IL.. Mark's Small Engine Repair Shop advertises on his business card that he is an authorized dealer for Briggs & Stratton and does warranty work. Mark's Small Engine Repair Shop picked up the mower and called two days later and informed my wife on the phone that the engine was burned up and wanted to replace it with a new motor and wanted us to pay $978. 40, we said no since we only paid $900.00 when we bought the tractor. We told him why we have to pay since it was still under warranty of two years. He stated that he doesn't deal with warranties. (He should read his own business card) He was very rude to my wife on the phone when she told him to return the tractor to us and he stated to her he doesn't accept credit cards, only checks because he doesn't trust people. He brought back the lawn mower (un-repaired) and charged us $140.00 for transportation and labor. We called Briggs & Stratton and explained the situation what Mark's Small Engine Repair did to us they gave us another repair shop, and this time it was repaired under the warranty with no problems at all. We don't recommend Mark's Small Engine Repair for any service. He needs to be schooled on dealing with his customers. We are placing this review so he doesn't try to fool or hurt any other family. read more

10/26/16 update: Mower works well after Mark's repairs, however now leaks a bit. It did not leak at all before it went in the shop. I noticed this about a few days after it was returned, and as such, I am adjusting my review. read more

Superfast and excellent service. Repairs are snowblower in one week when he had quoted two. We were so happy because the day we picked it up we got 8 inches of snow. I would highly recommend Mark! read more
