If I wanted to just order a part, it would be $231 and I could do the repairs myself. I told them I would hold off and I did a local search and found Premium Appliance Repair. I checked out the reviews for the company and all I saw were 4 and 5 star. So I called them and set up an appointment. They came right out, made the repairs quickly and when all was said and done, the total cost was $178. PLUS the same 1 year warrantee. On top of it all my repairman "Ted" was punctual, very courteous, well mannered, explained the repairs and answered all my questions. I couldn't be happier with the service I was provided. When the serviceman came he said he was told it was a Maytag and that certain guys fix different brands. We had water coming out from under the machine. I told him I thought it was the pump. He never took the front off the machine to inspect the pump. He said it was due to the drain hose inserted too far into the drain. It was an $85 service fee down the drain (no pun intended). Still leaks. Time to call ABT Appliance.
