Most satisfactory explanations for me and thorough in their work too. My job was thankfully not an emergency job- so they re-scheduled it when something else came up on another end (last minute emergency project etc.). Communication time has been reasonable and this is the chimney company I would personally prioritize in this area currently. They focus on parts being replaced only when absolutely necessary and will start/consider repair, the context of the situation, and be transparent with you. They are really good at explaining why you might or might not have a choice in your chimney situation with the work completed on it. read more

I contacted them through Yelp on a Sunday and the owner replied back. I called his wife Katie and we set an appointment for a free estimate. Danny came out, reviewed the chimney and gave me a price. I accepted and he said he would come back. Katie kept me informed and Danny came back at 7:00 pm and capped my chimney. This company is amazing! I highly recommend them. I will be contacting them in spring for more work. read more

These guys are the real deal! As a new homeowner, I've unfortunately learned from experience that not all quotes are reasonable nor their practices the most honest- Premier Chimney Service is the best, though, and I will certainly be a repeat customer if needed and recommend to all my friends. I called for a quote to repair a patch of stucco on my chimney, and learned that I would also need a new concrete crown poured. This awesome small business came in with the most competitive quote and the best communication around. They were happy to answer my questions about how the process would work, and sent me before and after photos of the job (can't see it from the ground)! Very kind folks that got out to the field to do the job within a week of the accepted quote and were so kind and respectful to my yard and neighbors. I'd give 6 stars if it were an option. read more

Amazing and professional Service. I've never had honesty like this. They were fast an efficient.

I requested a fireplace chimney cleaning and inspection, but only got a quote to replace the furnace flue. Tech was polite, but late and ultimately didn't do what I requested. read more

I had 4 roofers /chimney estimates on my roof and chimney. I was not having any leaks or issues just a maintenance check before any issues happen. John was so thorough with his inspection beginning in the basement checking the guts of the fireplace. He told me no cleaning is needed and went to the roof. He mentioned stucco needed patching on a wall, I had a rotting pierce of wood on the back of my house and small other issues that needed patching. He was so thorough. He tightened the gutters where the nails were not secure, mentioned other issue that he pointed out and sent several pictures. His estimates were fair and his work is excellent. He is a man of his word, shows up when he says and has a great team who consistently communicates. His work is guaranteed. It is rare to have such a dependable person, how refreshing! I highly recommend Premiere Chimney Service! read more

We recently moved into our new home in Berwyn PA and wanted to get our two chimneys inspected/cleaned before the winter season. We are extremely pleased with the service provided. John did a quick assessment and cleaned/swept one chimney that had a creosote build-up and placed a cap on the other to protect it from rain/snow. The work was done carefully and the cost was very reasonable. John gave me recommendations on using each of the chimneys. Thanks for the good work! read more

We recently purchased a new house, which in this market means no inspections and no contingencies. Just a few days after signing an agreement of sale, we visited the property again for a walk through. When I went into the basement, I noticed there was a large puddle on top of the wood stove in our basement. I called Premiere Chimney Service and spoke to Kate and explained my situation. Her recommendation was to have someone come out and complete a sweep on the 2nd chimney stack and they would be able to inspect the leaking chimney stack at the same time. Long story short, we made our settlement on 4/20 and I had someone here on 4/22 to clean the chimney and investigate the leak problem. Danny the tech was great to work with and listened to all of my concerns. He completed a thorough cleaning of both chimneys and gave me what I thought was a fair estimate based on the work being performed. From my experience this company was not trying to push for work that was really not needed. For instance, I questioned why we wouldn't replace the chimney caps with new stainless ones to match the chase cover and the answer was simple... "They really don't need to be replaced" I have provided before and after pictures which speak for the quality of performed. They even filled some holes from woodpeckers and other birds on my wood siding while they were up on the roof. I would highly recommend these folks and plan to use them for yearly cleanings and maintenance. Best of all this is a small family-owned business which is just another reason to give them your support. It's more about customer satisfaction and building relationships as opposed to meeting sales quotas. I plan to use these folks yearly going forward. Give them a shot, you will not be disappointed... Kudos to Danny, John, and Kate!! read more

We've used them the last few years. Utmost professionalism and amazing quality of work.

Did a great job correcting creosote buildup and other issues with our fireplace. Provided an honest assessment and pricing after several companies tried to scam us. Scheduling was a breeze; highly recommend. read more

Danny at Premier Chimney was amazing. Almost went with a different company that was completely trying to sell us services we didn't need. He quoted us for a simple chimney repair instead of suggesting a metal liner that we didn't need for a gas fireplace. Cannot recommend enough! read more

We thought we only needed a chimney cap, but Premiere quickly showed us evidence that our chimney had lost nearly all its original terra cotta liner and that the pure exposed brick wall was likely releasing carbon monoxide into our living space. The crew showed genuine concern and care for the fact we had a two-month old baby in the house, and had the equipment and manpower to get a stainless steel liner and new furnace/heater vents installed w an airtight seal. The new plate and cap on the chimney looks gorgeous, and I was able to sleep soundly knowing my family was safe from potential CO fumes. There was an opportunity for upsell but the tech was clear that our chimney was safe without it -- no rip off here. So grateful to this company, their rates were right in the national average for materials and labor, and would definitely call on them again for repairs and our yearly inspections. read more

Work was done quickly with poor workmanship. They were sloppy with our property and after we paid in full for the project outlined in our agreement they asked for more money for the waterproofing that was clearly outlined as part of our original estimate. I paid the quote in full. I texted after the work was done about the job and never got a response. read more

I had a great experience with Premiere Chimney. They were very fast to respond to my request for an estimate and then even faster to set up a time to do the work. They work fast and everyone is super friendly and responsive. The price was beyond reasonable and comes with a guarantee. I will recommend Premier Chimney to all of my friends! read more

I am so happy that we found Premiere. They were clear and straightforward with their explanation of what needed to be done and what they would do. No over the top bizarre pressure.like we experienced before contacting them. Just honest work done to code and approved by the gas company. We would definitely call them again! Prompt, easy to communicate with, even dealt with my difficult landlord. He was happy with the price and the work.

I found Premiere on Yelp! The reviews were great, so I decided to call!! Honestly, I'm blown away how wonderful the whole experience has been!! I've had such bad experiences with previous sweeps ( including one that left so much creosote, and said nothing about it. I had a chimney fire a week later) which turned into a fiasco!! Premiere is prompt, courteous and so knowledgeable! They have my trust and my business!! Appreciative of you all!! Thank you! Mary Ellen O'B read more

John and the rest of the team at Premier are amazing. We had a leak in our chimney that led to water pooling in our fireplace. John came out and resealed several areas that could have been causing the leak. A few months later during a particularly heavy rainstorm, we noticed a little more water coming in. John came back out and did additional patchwork free of charge to make sure it didn't leak again. Everyone has been extremely responsive, communicative and on time. We highly recommend them to anyone who needs any help with their chimney! read more

True honest guys. A previous inspection by "Paramount Chimney" called for $1000's of dollars in repairs. "Premiere Chimney" inspected and cleaned and showed me pictures that "no repairs were necessary". Even the damper was in perfect working order after a good cleaning. Premier Chimney recently relined our chimney in our three-story row home in Fishtown. The workmanship was excellent--John and his assistant arrived on time, worked all day and into the early evening. I am very pleased with the service that I received from Premiere. They promptly returned my calls and arrived on time. During the inspection Danny got up on my roof, identified the issues and took pictures. The other company that gave me an estimate didn't climb onto the roof. The owner John is very knowledgeable about this business- knowing what chemicals to use in the firebox and what not to use on my stone hearth. Danny did a great job on replacing the mortar. I could not have been more pleased. Setting an appointment with Kate was easy and quick. John arrived on time and called ahead to let me know he was coming. The price was great and they gave a 40% discount on the second chimney and a first time appointment discount. I highly recommend them and will use them again next year for sure. Very professional all around. read more

Good, knowledgeable, friendly, clean, and professional. We had a chimney leak and called for them to check it out. Had to schedule out 5 days due to their full calendar. The technician, Danny, was spot on time and found our issue quickly. We scheduled the repair for 2 days later. Again, Danny and the owner were here when planned. Took about 2 hours and we haven't had a leak since. I can't speak to their pricing as I've never had a chimney repair before. But, given the work and materials I felt we got a fair deal. Especially given I felt they knew what they were doing. I would certainly recommend them to anyone and I would not hesitate to call them again should I have another issue. read more

Our chimney was blocked causing a serious and potentially dangerous problem. We called Premiere and set an appointment. The day of the appointment, Danny, the technician arrived promptly and prepared. Danny inspected the chimney, took pictures and advised us of its condition. The estimate was very fair, so we immediately told him to start. The job became a lot more complicated as the original 100+ year old pipe was crushed and stuck inside along with 3 squirrel nests! Danny stayed and finished the job with good humor, respect and exceptional skill! I highly recommend this company and Danny deserves the highest accolades. read more
