Really honest bunch of folks, super thorough in inspecting the vehicle and walked us through each part they thought had problems and why, and were very patient with my mom who couldn't understand English very well. Also, Longo Toyota can go to hell. Quick story: Mom's Lexus battery was replaced by AAA, but something happened and the engine bay started smoking. Wanted a second opinion and folks on Reddit recommended this auto shop. Had the car towed here and Chao inspected the damages. He replaced something that only took 2 hours and a $125 part, and the car was totally fixed. In total, he charged us $200. Chao knew we weren't knowledgeable about cars yet was super honest with the repair. I now trust him 100% with all of my future car problems. The other place keeps raising his rates. So I contacted Tony. He responded with a very reasonable price, $80 cheaper for two cars than my one of other mechanics. One would take an hour, the other would take a 1/2 day because they're always busy. Even though Tony is about 15 minutes away from me, vs. the other two that are just a few minutes away, it's worth the drive for the efficient quick service and reasonable price.

Clement and his crew know BMWs, old and new. They've done everything from the flywheel and clutch, control arms, brake lines, ABS, alignment, and electrical work on my M5 to cooling system work on my M50i. Anyone who owns an E39 knows these cars are getting to the age where you need someone who actually understands them and isn't just throwing parts at the problem. One thing I really appreciate is that if you actually pay attention to your car, you'll notice they take care of little things along the way without even mentioning it or adding it to the bill. A loose piece here, a small adjustment there you get the car back and realize something else is just right again. That tells me they actually care about the cars they work on. Clement is straight up with you. No BS, no unnecessary upselling, just solid work from people who genuinely know the platform. I'm picky about who touches my M5, and SGV Bimmer has earned my trust. Whether you've got an older M car, a newer BMW, or you're just particular about keeping your BMW properly sorted, SGV Bimmer is definitely a shop I'd recommend.

I arrived around 9 AM, waited about 10-15 minutes, and the synthetic oil change for my 2012 Honda Accord took another 20-30 minutes. It cost $50, and they also did a basic brake check during the service. The staff mainly speaks Cantonese with some broken English, but communication is enough for routine services. I also asked for a tire rotation, but they said they didn't have time that day. The shop is a no-frills neighborhood mechanic, nothing fancy, but efficient if your car is already in good shape and you need a quick oil change or basic maintenance. They're open on Saturdays, which makes it convenient when I can't come during the week. If you're looking for a fast, budget-friendly oil change, I'd recommend this place. For more thorough maintenance, diagnostics, or larger repairs, I'd probably choose a different mechanic.
