One of the ladies in the shop named Melissa was the sweetest little lady ever, she was so attentive and helpful. she showed me around the shop and told me all about the online and on-site sewing classes they offer. Melissa and a gentleman named Pete showed me these huge quilt making machines that makes 10 foot,12 foot and 14 foot quilts on an automated machine (so much for grandma doing it be hand). Prices were slightly cheaper than Jo Ann's when it came to your basic patterned fabrics. We were greeted by an associate who knew exactly what questions to ask. Hubs armed with his measurements starting answering her and she and him were in this world of fabric/measarument talk. I just nod trying to keep up, but they were speaking a foreign language. *shrugs* She finally asked what we were covering and she immediately took us to a fabric she recommended and I shouted "THAT'S IT...THAT'S THE COLOR AND THE TEXTURE I WANT". I think I scared myself and her too! HA! We took a big gulp and looked at the price. WHAT?! It was stain resistant upholstery fabric and it was...*wiping eyes*...does that say $19.99 a yrd?? I couldn't believe it. We just stood there and asked...just to make sure we were reading that correctly. Everywhere else had upholstery fabric in basic colors and it was $45.99 or more a yrd. The best part...they were running a one day sale for 20% off. Wrap it up. To the counter. We're getting it. Ready to check out. Needless to say I was thrilled. They have some VERY nice fabrics in their store. The location is in the same shopping area as Total Wine, Starbucks, and Nom Nom burger. Totally will be my go to place for fabric.

I appreciated how he was able to demonstrate what my finished product would look like and when asked provided his opinion on the layout. Vartan is the kind of sales representative I miss in today's big box stores. He will be the reason why I will return. Completely different story when checking out at the front of the store. I selected an item where it had a 50% sign on the shelf but when I went to purchase I was told it was not on sale. The supervisor/manager was called who took, in my opinion, her own sweet time to walk 15 feet to the register I was at to say the item was not on sale. I offered to show her the item and sign but she did not want to be bothered. That is the person that I prefer to not see in customer service.

They have a huge selection of solids and grunge and a decent selection of the latest prints from popular fabric designers. There is a nice variety of samples on display in the store to showcase the patterns and fabrics. The only small criticism that I have is that the samples are not labeled with the name of the pattern and the fabric line. If they did that, shopping would be a bit easier.

Easy communication scheduling our event and Our facilitators were engaging and fun and had a tough job trying to keep us in line. We brought our own drinks and some took advantage of the suits to rent to protect their clothes. The actual mixing of paint and splattering was entertaining as we had the music going and drinks flowing too. The splatter team took photos and videos for us of the whole event, but did use one of our phones so make sure you have a charged battery! Our canvas was delivered a week later and looks great!
