You have to use it to check out too, security is important. I went to their Thanksgiving buffet, everyone went to the first floor and got their food. He praised the staff are more friendly and available, the food are better, even the air is fresher compared to the last assisted home he stayed at for 4 years. My encounters with everyone (including the residents) from Bethesda were all positive. They have a pool there and part of my therapy is exercise in the pool. Nivi has also been certified to work with amputees ! When you walk in Hannah who does double duty as receptionist and helping Nivi, has the brightest smile and warmly greets you. They have lots of gym equipment, they also do dry needling, and tens. In fact I remarked as I walked in how it felt like a hotel. It has very high ceilings with lots of natural light coming in. When you walk past the portico, the reception area greets you. The reception desk is manned 24/7. Opposite that is a large dining area with booths and tables with chairs. There is also a room which had a bingo game in progress. Going past reception, there is a game room with pool table and puzzles to work on. Just past the game room is a hair salon and clinic open three days a week. All of the stairwells have been roped off. Tenants are asked to use the elevators to go upstairs. Upstairs there is a table and chairs for public use to play cards or board games. There is a well stocked library. In the next room is the gym with treadmills, weights and elliptical machine. The last room is the craft area with large table and chairs. Supplies are stocked next to the wall. Two sewing machines are available for use. There is a very large round pool outside and a water feature. The grounds are kept clean. Staff are very friendly as are the residents. Gated community with plenty of parking spaces. Free WiFi residents.

I am very happy to say that I will be taking my mom home come July 2026 and she will no longer be here. The list goes as far as other things I could honestly complain about instead I will keep short.

The Manor seems to have also lost several good and caring employees that we really liked. I'm starting to get concerned about the trends I've been witnessing. I hope these trends don't continue.

When we walked in the door at Manor Village, we knew we had found Moms new home. We were greeted by Wesley Wilkins who provided us with a tour and as we moved throughout the building, Wesley knew all the residents that we came in contact with as well as employees. You could tell he really enjoys his job and every employee we talk with had a smile on their face. The entire building had a wonderful vibe and the residence we interacted with were so welcoming and friendly. We feel confident that if any emergency or care is needed, Mom is in the right place. It is now been a couple of months since she moved in and we could not be any happier. It has been such a positive experience and I would highly recommend Manor Village if you're looking for a facility that will treat your loved one like family. We exchanged Happy New Years before our informal Meeting. Suddenly Tim reached under his desk And place a Red Bag on his desk. Along side he placed A piece of cake covered with Sprinkles. In the Red Base was Hot Wheels Car , my first, a Fridge Magnate, An Orange Marker 4 pieces of assorted Chocolate. A Stone Ridge Pad . Also Caplin Tim included his business card and tapped to the side of my Birthday Goodie Bag was a Birthday card signed by the Director of Operations, I met her, 1 of the 2 Social Workers, and the receptionist who is waiting to be tested so she can assume RN duties for the Hospice. My only Question. I ask after Chaplain Tim shared the Minimum Hours required are 1. I stated I would like to work a few hours whenever I am asked. When covid came, they locked down the facility within an inch of the law. I never heard of a single resident catching the virus, and staff members were tested very frequently. Meals were delivered to her door every day, and her biggest problem was boredom. Her health started to fade with a series of strokes, but the Terraces kept her from getting covid. We were so impressed that we could see ourselves living here or something like it when we downsize.
