Met with the owner Traci, and it seems great service trickles down. They were able to start service at the last minute and were extremely accommodating. Traci was also helpful with referring various other services for my aging parents such as maid service and medication management. While we will continue to use their service going forward, I would not hesitate in the slightest to recommend them to friends and family. Do yourself a favor and call Sunland first, I promise you will save yourself a lot of time and aggravation.

Sunland hires quality caregivers and will personally match your situation to a caregiver who can be caring and effective. They take the time to get to know their clients and follow through until caregiver and family are content. If there's a problem, someone from Sunland picks up the phone and immediately helps. Their billing system is clear and organized. Their caregivers are caring and trained, and managers, like Jerry, are in touch with the day to day running of the business and will know your name. I wouldn't hesitate to sign up with Sunland if someone in your family (or you) needs home health support.

Which makes it severely understaffed and then just further decreases any impact that wasn't there in the first place. Any educational class is a boring PowerPoint presentation which ALWAYS gets way off topic because they accept anyone into the class (people who don't give a phuck about the class) which only ads to my first point. Any type of assistance you may want to check with is pushed aside to babysit grown adults and you are NEVER tend to. Fights happen all the time because all of the adults who need to be baby-sat, also talk shit throughout the entire process. Staff could easily remove the individual but instead they stop the entire class and kick everyone out and make everyone suffer. This reason, is why I will NEVER go back. In…read morefact it is so bad it is difficult to know where to begin. 1 - Leadership There is no leadership at Terros. President/CEO Peggy Chase is a complete failure. She has been with Terros for 22 years and the company has struggled every day with every metric. And when they boast about success they are just shuffling the numbers around. It is a shell game. 2 - Leadership Team During the pandemic for the last 18 months the vast majority of leadership has been completely invisible. Rarely any communication. Rarely ever at the sites. Rarely ever speaking with staff that they supposedly value. Hogwash. Karen Hoffman-Tepper: Absent and MIA Jennifer Nye: Absent and MIA. She collects a hefty check but is NEVER around. She is a ghost employee. Karen Cater: Peggy's sidekick. I bet she wipes Peggy's a$$ because Peggy is so incompetent she can't do anything for herself. Karen must feel humiliated and dehumanized following Peggy around like a lost puppy. Safron Wanger: Safron who? Like Jennifer she is a ghost. 3 - Medical/Behavioral Health Care Good luck getting any type of care no less quality care. Providers are rude and disrespectful to both patients and other staff. How can they care for others when they can't even treat each other with kindness and respect. 4 - Covid-19 Vaccinations Staff are so rude that they routinely turn patients away who come in for a vaccination. If you are a minute late they tell you to leave. But they can have you waiting 45 minutes to an hour for an appointment. 5 - Front Office Staff The rudest people on the face of the planet. Zero customer service skills and they continually make mistakes. 6-Supervisors Incompetent doesn't begin to describe the lack of abilities supervisors have. They wait to the last minute to do anything and then they only do it if forced which is rarely the case. So many of the supervisors are rude, unprofessional, and inappropriate. 7 - HR If HR likes you then you are safe. If HR does not like you then you are terminated. Unprofessional and unethical in their practices. And the amount of serious issues that HR covers up and hides is criminal. 8 - Job Vacancies The qualifications to be hired for any position at Terros is a heartbeat and respiration's. If you have those two then you are hired. The quality of staff is so poor that I wouldn't leave a pet rock with a Terros Health employee. The level of turnover is mind boggling. Of course HR keeps those numbers a closely held secret. I would not be surprised that if in the course of one year that 200-300 staff quit and they hire 200-300 more staff to replace the ones that quit. It is that bad. A revolving door of incompetency. 9 - Employee Morale There is no employee morale. Staff are miserable which is why they routinely quit and treat each other horribly. Working at Terros is like stopping at a gritty rest stop. You stay for a minute, use the restroom, and then move on because anything else is better. 10 - Pay and Benefits Terros just gave a bunch of employees a pay increase which while a kind gesture is still pathetically low. This is why people quit and stay on unemployment. People make more money on unemployment than they do working at Terros. That is sad and shows how little the company really cares about staff. Medical benefits are ridiculously expensive. The premiums and deductibles are way too expensive for what employees get paid. Hence, quit and get unemployment benefits. 11 - Patients/Clients Overall it is the clients who suffer the most. Those with serious medical, mental health, and substance abuse disorders who never receive proper care or treatment. And don't be fooled by passing audits. They are a farce and the auditors were mislead and misguided like a carny at a carnival. It is terribly sad that the most vulnerable of the patient population pays the highest cost for all the problems that Terros faces. I wonder is the Board of Directors knows what is going on or are they just relishing in the title of being on the board. Because if they just slightly scratched the surface the problems will jump out in a glaring fashion. Terros health is a place where the "leaders" say all the right things but do not mean any of it. Action speaks louder than words and their words are empty rhetoric to make THEM feel better. Terros is bad for patients. Terros is bad for employees. Terros is just bad!

    Five stars!!! We hired Visiting Angels to care for my mother-in-law after knee replacement…read moresurgery, and they helped her so much!! She started with 24 hour care and they worked with us to reduce the time as she got better. All the caregivers were very good to her, and we couldn't have asked for more. They helped her with her walking, made her meals, took her to therapy appointments and reminded her to take her medications. If we have the need again, we will definitely hire Visiting Angels!

    I would give zero stars if I could. This service is a joke. My mother set up 2 weeks of care for my…read moredisabled sister (Weeks in advance) because she had to have surgery, in which all was covered per Nancy at Visiting Angels. The first day the caregiver came and seemed very nice, however she went to lunch and never came back. She left my sister in her bed, out of her wheelchair. Thank God a family friend was there as well to get my sister out of bed and back into her wheelchair. My mother just being out of surgery couldn't handle any of this. When speaking with Melissa, (because at this point Nancy has also disappeared) she continued to say, "we are looking for a replacement". Which is strange because they had several other caregivers scheduled for other days so why was NO days covered now when only 1 caregiver disappeared. They had no excuse. I called for another update the same day it happened, and everyone had gone home for the day (at 4pm)! After much frustration we had to continuously call them for an update which they didn't have. So, Melissa gave us another agency to call and just told us to call them ourselves. Just completely dropping us. No urgency whatsoever. We did call said Agency and they had care for us within hours and updated us every 15 minutes and also covered the rest of the 2 weeks. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND VISITING ANGELS. They will leave you high and dry with no explanation and leave your loved one in a compromising and possibly dangerous situation alone. Come to find out that 4 of their caregivers recently walked out as well.
