In May 2018 I contacted Adam Young of Sunland Home Care in Mesa Arizona seeking home care for my ninety-eight year old Mother who was in declining health. Not ever having had prior experience with home care providers I was unsure about what to expect. After Adam Young and I had our initial conversation my uncertainties were quickly calmed. He promptly arranged an initial meeting with my family, and he was quite thorough in explaining the complete services his organization provided down to the last details. I decided to use Sunland Home Care because of the promptness of their response, the thoroughness of their service, and the sincerity of their approach to their profession. After my initial meeting with Adam Young, he arranged for a care giver to arrive at my Mother's house the next day. I could not have asked for a more perfect person to be my Mother's care giver. My Mother's caregiver, Christy, was exceptionally caring, nurturing and intuitive in getting my Mother to respond to her request as she provided her daily care. My Mother, who was not generally responsive to strangers, responded to Christy in such a positive manner, which was certainly due to the sincere caring nature and above all the dedication and professionalism of this young woman. Although the service Sunland Home Care provided in our family's case was brief, it was nonetheless exceptional. I would not hesitate to recommend Sunland Home Care to any family needing home care for an aged family member. read more

I cannot say enough good things about Sunland Home Care. My family had an emergency situation where we needed to have a caregiver start immediately to help our father when our mother was unexpectedly hospitalized, both of whom are in their 80's. Adam Young returned my call promptly, assessed the situation by phone, then did a home visit with my father the same day, then lined up a caregiver to come that evening. This attentiveness was so appreciated as we were trying to coordinate services from out-of-state. We were able to arrange care for our dad and kept the caregiver(s) scheduled to help out when our mother came home from the hospital. The caregivers were literally "Angels on Earth" - they kept us informed on how our parents were doing, helped clean and prepare meals, assisted with their bathing and dressing, ran errands to the pharmacy and grocery store, and took them to medical appointments. The services were reasonably priced and we will use Sunland Home Care again, if needed. Exemplary mix of professionalism and compassion. read more

I was very impressed with their management team, from Traci to Adam, everyone I spoke with was always attentive and engaged in what our family needed. Let's just say I wish I had found Sunland Home Care first. We went through 4 other home care organizations before finding the best one. A very highly respected Rehab center recommended Sunland and they were spot on. Adam came to the house to meet my father-in-law and to explain everything to us. They provided everything we needed and the caregivers were nothing short of amazing. Sunland assisted my mom and dad as our mom started on Hospice. Adam was very responsive and worked hard to ensure care was offered at appropriate hours with as little disruption as possible. Susie and Yasira did the lion share of the care prior to mom's passing and they were always sensitive to her needs and stayed close to her whenever she was up and about. If your looking for a home care service that can do the simple as well as the more complex, like working with hospice, don't hesitate to call Sunland and interview them. Administrative staff is very accommodating, and are genuinely interested in satisfied customers and always make themselves available, they have a good call return ratio and run a fairly transparent front office which makes it easier to navigate the financial aspect. The caregivers are fresh, friendly and are compassionate beyond their scope and are always punctual. Amazing home health care providers. My son was injured over a year ago and has required so much care. Sunland employees have helped us to care for him.
