Prior to retaining GE I explained my situation and he said he handled an inheritance of land in Central America for someone, so I felt confident. He took my 3G retainer and sent him all of the documents and text communications as well as atty in CA. He basically did nothing for 8 solid months. He is unreliable and didn't even write a plan of action on that lame form. He couldn't even direct me on the basics of what to do. You would be better off googling. After finding a smart attorney , I requested a partial refund. GE said he spent 2.5 hours at $800 to review the documents and texts. I was the one who phoned the consulate, not he. In my opinion the consultation was not as thorough in terms of options, compared to others consultations I've had regarding the same case. I ended going with a different lawyer.
