Premier Pools and Spas built our dream pool and hot tub. They were highly recommend by several neighbors here in Heron Bay and they did not disappoint. The journey started with Preston who came out and we discussed our requirements for the pool. Within a few days we had a proposal, detailed quite, and YouTube 3D model of the final pool. We shopped around to verify pricing and after that we agreed and start the project. Preston even helped with the financing. That is where Codi their project manager jumped in and directed traffic for all the contractors to perform their tasks. We just finished our pool installation. It took about 6 months. We lost at least 2 months for permitting, weather and vacation. Premier handled everything but landscaping and fencing. They have an electrical contractor for power and lighting. They all work together very well. Preston came out for the walkthrough and provided the proposal, drawings and a video illustration of the entire design. Premier was the only company that did what they said they would do and on time. Their price was the most economical and all the front end work went very quickly. Leroy handled the onsite coordination and wa the main contact. He help work through any issues. All the staff was very nice. The only think I would maybe had the mechanical system in a different location as the back of my yard drops off and I wish I had given that more thought. This company has great reviews, but our experience has been very different than others from what I can tell. As of this review, I have no functioning pool and it has been over 8 months since we signed the contract. We signed with Premier Pools and Spas in Locust Grove, GA on 11/5/2024. We were so excited when we started this journey and now we're just over it. Not first time pool owners here, but first time putting one in. We moved from So Florida 11/1/2024 and knew we wanted a pool. Sales person said we will have a pool "by summer". It is almost the end of July, and we still do not have a pool we can use and it will be a few more weeks at least, so maybe August 2025. I honestly thought beginning of summer would be a reasonable timeline because we signed in November and kept it simple, really. 14x28 kidney shaped pool, fiberglass made by Latham. No major bells and whistles, no tile, no fountains, and basic concrete. We did add a big pool deck, a great idea by the project manager, Richard. We did have pretty extensive yard work done, but I worked with a company directly for that, referred to us by Richard. Excellent referral, and that part went smoothly and was done in less than 2 weeks. Not much else has gone smoothly though. I am far from being a pool expert, but have built a few new homes that didn't try my patience this much. There have been many delays. Delays in requesting and getting the permits, delays in submitting for HOA approval, delays in pool shell delivery, accidentally cracked the pool shell moving it into the yard (needed repair), delays in laying concrete (some weather related which happens, but a ton of sunny days with no work done at all). Issues with a faulty control panel, which was consumed with water. Pool equipment sat boxed in the yard for 2+ weeks and got soaked from rain. Boxes and paperwork all completely soggy. It was too heavy for me and my husband to move so it was stuck there. Very little communication, unless I initiate it, except when a payment was due. Last payment (4th installment) was due when the "equipment set" was done. I learned that "set" actually means setting it up and securing it to the concrete slab, not making sure it actually functions or that I have a pool I can use. I should have asked more questions before the contract was signed. I also should have held the pool company to timelines for getting things done (in the contract). Lessons learned. So now, I've paid for a pool I cannot use. That's the situation. Electrical was installed this week - looks pretty good, I think. They forgot the pool lights so those were installed today - went to turn them on tonight...and sure enough, they don't work. Pump is running now, although the panel is faulty for the salt water component and that will take several weeks dealing with the warranty. Pool was a swamp with inches of dirt, moss, tadpoles and frogs in it until today. They had a company come out today, add chemicals and get the pump running. It seems to work well, which was such a relief, I almost cried. But he did nothing else.. no vacuum, no cleaning up the bottom, nothing more that I can tell. It's a swamp with chemicals in it. We did fish out a bunch of dead frogs and tadpoles this evening. The project manager stopped by to drop off the lights the electricians came back to install, (that don't work) and told us not to use our vacuum in it because it may get ruined by rocks in the bottom of the pool. So what's next, I asked. When can I swim in this pool? He wasn't completely clear, but said the company that put the chemicals in today will come out once a week for a few weeks and clean it. So my interpretation of that is we may have a pool we can use by mid August. Paid in full pool, that I cannot use and by the time we can, it will be 9+ months to complete since contract signed. I realize this review sounds harsh, but it's completely honest and from a layperson's perspective with no knowledge (until now) of the patience it takes to put in a relatively basic in-ground pool. Fingers crossed we will be able to use it before summer ends this year. Maybe this timeline is normal, but it certainly was not what I was expecting. read more

Premier Pools is amazing. We contacted them for our pool installation. Preston came out to discuss our ideas of what we wanted. He then sent us a design video via YouTube of a 360 degree view of the look of the pool style that we had chosen for our backyard. We were pleased with this because we were able to share this with family and friends as well as see our ideas come to life in real- time. This company is also amazing because everyone that was involved in the process was very knowledgeable as well as helpful. They always returned phone calls and addressed any concerns that we had. Whatever they said that they would do was done without hesitation. Leroy, the project manager who oversaw the project from beginning to end would always return calls right away to answer any questions. He was on-site numerous times to make sure that all went as planned. Julia in the office was helpful in keeping us informed of any scheduling that was going to happen during the process.
