E X P E R I E N C E When we entered, the employee (he seems like the owner) acknowledged us, said hi. We walked around the pool tables to look at designs then walked around to look at prices. He then verbalized that he's made it simple, color coordinated new vs used, what you get with each purchase, you get to choose all the table cloth colors, the new items shown are purely display items. The price has everything's included (delivery, install). Accessories are included currently dt a promo they're running. I like this guy. He gets to the point. He's a little abrupt. He doesn't seem to bullshit or make meaningless conversation. No pressure. He pretth much stayed behind the counter while we were looking. Social distanced. I wanted to clarify what he said, so I asked him again that we could pick cloth colors for new. He was patient and answered my question appropriately. Idk what's with all these reviews about rudeness. I like that he didn't bother me while I was looking. I could take my time and observe, but then once I walked a circle around the pool tables twice, he clarified prices/etc. I'm here to get info, not make best friends. Ultimately, I didn't buy anything. YET. I'm v interested in one of their pool tables. It's 3k for an 8 ft. Seems like a pretty good deal since they throw in a bunch of accessories but its still a little higher than what I expected to pay. Cost per use? seems v high for how much we plan on using it. This is the only place i will ever deal with for my hot tub. The process from ordering delivery and install were 100%! I have had my Spa for over two years and love it. I recently had an issue with my tub that I caused by shorting out a wire and couldn't figure out how to fix it. I was planning to contact a local repair company as I recently moved to Florida but I called Tony instead and he helped me along with his service guy and it is fixed and running perfect! EXTREMELY RUDE, TERRIBLE SERVICE and WIRED OUR HOT TUB INCORRECTLY SO THE POWER DID NOT WORK. We recently moved and had to move a hot tub that was only 3 months old. Georgia leisure not only SCRATCHED UP a new hot tub, they hooked it up incorrectly so the hot tub wouldn't turn on. I regret letting them perform any work without us being present. They missed their 2 hour window to perform the job and therefore we had to leave for an appointment. DO NOT LET THEM WORK UNSUPERVISED, IF AT ALL! When we asked them why there was no power, Georgia leisure said there must be something wrong with the hot tub. Then, they said we will set you up with a service call for sometime next week (but would let me know the date and time later on). I had my jacuzzi cleaned by Georgia Leisure and as the guy was refilling it, I saw quite a bit of debri. I spoke to him about it and he assured me that he was skimming out any debri left and that any residual would be removed when he set it to recycle the water. 1 day later and the debri chucked up, stuck to drain filters as if it had not been done. I spoke to Tony, a representative and he did not want to hear any of it, including me sending him pictures so he could see. He refused and told me that this conversation was going nowhere and I wished him a blessed day as he quickly hung up. Here are the day after pictures. We bought a hot tub from them a couple of years ago. Hands down some of the best service and follow up we've ever had. We had questions and a couple items later we need help with. No trouble at all. VERY helpful and honest. We recently had to move our hot tub when we sold our house and these guys took great care of us. Can't say enough about these guys. Customer service has been horrible. Both times going in the rep wouldn't even stop what he was doing to acknowledge me to earn my sale, ask how he could help me, or show me his display items. I have to give fair warning for people planning on doing business with Georgia Leisure...JUST DON'T AND LISTEN TO THE NIGHTMARE I WENT THROUGH. I have never met my neighbor in person until 2 weeks ago. I had found out he owned Georgia Leisure when I had moved into the neighborhood about 6 months ago. I called him up to see if it could set up an appointment to service my pool and all went well until I got the final invoice. They tried to scam me out of $400 more than what he had initially quoted me over the phone. When I asked him what were all these "extra labor charges" being added on to the bill, he made up some poor excuse saying they were part of the service. NOT ONCE BEFORE, DURING, OR AFTER the service performed did anyone mention to me anything about extra labor charges. Tony, the owner knew I had caught him on his lie and instantly replied on the email saying he would drop the "extra labor charges" but then decided to add $50 extra to the corrected invoice. Saying he couldn't offer the "discount' he had offered me over the phone. At this point I was done playing games and wanted to move on, but this is where Georgia Leisure decided to commit FRAUD! They took my credit card and authorized a charge for an amount that was totally different from the final invoice they had provided me. WHAT KIND OF BUSINESS SENDS AN INVOICE AND CHARGES THEIR CUSTOMERS SOMETHING TOTALLY DIFFERENT! They store customer's credit card information in their system with NO SIGN CONSENT FORM and will charge you whatever they please without the customer signing off on the invoice. If I could give them less than one star I would. My wife reached out to the owner, after being referred by the previous owner of our house, to obtain assistance in pricing and selling our hot tub. To say his responses via email was less than helpful would be an overstatement. He was snarky and rude toward my wife despite her polite questions. We had intended on purchasing an upgraded hot tub to replace the one we are attempting to sell but will now look else where to spend our money. If you don't care about poor customer service feel free to ask for Tony when you shop here. After leaving this review I was emailed by Yelp stating they were removing my review, possibly due to the store contesting it, on the basis I was not in the store for the incident. I purchased a hot tub 5 years ago from Tony at Georgia Leisure. I was never pressured, allowed time to ask questions and look over all the options on various models. I purchased a hot tub by Marquis which was the last one he carried by them. He was honest and informative about all aspects. Additionally I've been by from time to time over the 5 years to browse or purchase chemicals. Everyone I've felt with has been quite pleasant to talk with. I had the same type experience as Adam F. post and I will use the word rude experience with the owner/sales guy. I have a cabin rental business by Helen and buy hot tubs and spas often so I was put back at this guys attitude. I actually placed an order, then promptly cancelled when having a follow up conversation with the salesmen. He immediately charged $199 fee to "not deliver the pool table". Just purchased a hot tub from GA Leisure. The process from start to finish was amazing. From the beginning there was ZERO pressure and ZERO feeling that we were being "sold". Tub was delivered yesterday and we LOVE IT. I cannot say enough good about GA Leisure and especially the sales person we used, Tony. I place a high value on customer service and product knowledge. Tony was probably one of the most knowledgeable sales persons that I have every dealt with. I purchased a spa last year from Georgia Leisure and recently had a issue pop up with the lighting inside the spa not working. I contacted the store and spoke with Tony and explained my issue.Within minutes Tony diagnosed the issue and placed me on the repair schedule that same day! The service technicians called before the end of the day and came out and fixed the issue with no charge due to the warranty of the spa. During the installation of our pool we were given every excuse in the book as to why the installation is not making progress. Bought a pool table, delivery went fine. Nice table. We then ordered a pub table and chairs. I took half day off of work, delivery was to be between 1 and 3. Received no calls, and we had another appointment to be at so we had to leave promptly at 3. I called them and cancelled the order. About 2 hours later I got a call while we were still out that the delivery guy was in our driveway and the owner, Tony, refused to accept that we cancelled the order - said we HAD to take it. I called them to set an appointment for service on a Leisure Bay hot tub we own that's intermittently working. The gentleman that answered the phone was borderline rude and sounded like he was in a hurry, but I figured I needed my spa looked at and agreed to give him my credit card info and set up an appointment 2 weeks later on a weekend. He informed me that the appointment wasn't tentative, it was definite, so I would be billed the $99 service charge if I wasn't there. Well of course, he no showed. No call or message. I had Georgia Leisure install a inground pool last year and it was the worst experience ever. To start things off they dug the hole to close to the house and when the inspector came out to insepct we failed inspection. So apparently, they are not to familiar with Gwinnett County building codes. The guys never showed up when they were suppose to and the workmanship is very poor. I have large rocks on the bottom of my liner, the concrete was very rough when finished, and they kept an extremely messy jobsite. A three week job took them three months due to all the issues and missed days. We had a couple appointments set with them to come out and look at issues and they always missed the appointments. We had a leak 9 months after our pool was built and they did not warranty their own work when 3 other companies said they should. I would not refer this company to my worst enemy. read more

I have been using Ga Leisure for the last few years to open and close my pool with no problem. However, we just recently had them install a new liner because we had a leak and the liner was the suspect because it was in bad shape. The installation was fine until it continued to leak about an inch a day. I called Ga Leisure and spoke to Tom about it and since the liner was new it was suspected that the liner was not the problem and, when I asked, he recommended a leak detection company. He never said "we will come out and check for the leak," he just gave the names of two companies in the leak detection business. I called a leak detection company. They conducted a die test first and did find a hole in the liner just below the steps. The tech said it looked like a, "screwdriver punch," and patched it. He said it was big enough to cause the kind of water loss we were having. Apparently our old leak was fixed with the installation of a new liner but another one was created during installation. I called and spoke to someone at Ga Leisure who told me that neither Tom nor Tony where in so I left a message. She said she would let Tony know. I never received a call back so I called again. Tony answered and told me he had gotten the message, however he didn't return my call. I explained the problem and ask him if they were going to take care of the bill for the repair. He said "nope" and that I should have called him. I told him that I did call and spoke to Tom, however he just ignored that fact and continued to say he would not cover the repair. He kept saying I should have called and I kept saying I did. I am so disappointed because I thought he would do the right thing and take care of it. Beware! He finally hung up without giving me a chance to discuss it further. This is his immature way of handling problems. $400 hundred dollars is not going to break me and he will lose a lot more from the loss of business. I would think he would at least be a better business manager. I guess not... Just beware if you are a current customer or thinking about becoming a customer. From the moment we stepped in the door we were treated like an annoyance to the owner. He very quickly showed what he had then when we went to ask another question he was vacuuming and rather than turning off the vacuum to talk to us he just kept doing what he was doing and we had to try to listen to him over the vacuum. We were very annoyed at this point but wanted a pool table so we went to order it. Then we were told it could not delivered when we needed it . We had just called before we came in to make sure that it could be delivered. He said he may be able to do it but was SO rude and unaccomdating! He went onto say how many tables he just sold, like he was doing US the favor by selling us a table! Very cocky! My husband asked if he could just give us a call, at this point he cut us off mid sentence with the rude "NO"! Enough is enough, we walked out! I have never experienced such terrible customer service, especially from the owner of a company! We found a really nice place in Loganville to buy a table from who is going out of their way to get it to us in time.
