You can stop your research into which contractor to retain to re-plaster your pool. My pool is located 250 feet from the street on a hill. I spoke to several contractors. After that process I selected Premier. The project was just completed. The price for the re-plaster, and other related work such as the removal and replacement of the deck coping, was very competitive. The work was done much faster than I thought possible. The quality of the work is more than excellent. The Premier personnel were on time, professional and so very nice. They were willing to answer any question that I asked. Daniel, the owner, was on the site just about very day. Communication with the office was clear and timely. This is a very professional operation with very high standards. So unprofessional!!!!! I made an appointment 2 weeks ago, at the recommendation of a neighbor. We had an appointment today between 9am-11am. My husband stayed home from work to meet the contractor Danny Precidio (which I told them when I made the appointment). I called this morning at 9ish to confirm an get a better time frame . I spoke with the receptionist, she said she would check Danny and call me back. No one called. I called again about 45 minutes later, she said she would check with Danny again and call me back. No one called. I called again and got the message machine. She finally called me at 11am (the end of our appointment) to say they were not coming (an emergency at another client), and could I wait until 12:30. Danny never called to explain or reschedule. Why didn't the receptionist or Danny call to tell me there was a possible problem at 9 or 9:30 or 10 or 10:30. She said she was sorry for any miscommunication. What communication????????? I was a bit skeptical to make a new appointment with this business provided their reputation on inability to keep the scheduled appointment and be on time. Time management may not be their strength. I was pleasantly surprised with the receptionist who responded to my initial call. She scheduled an appointment to which they cancelled on the day off the appointment. Read Tina O review below. I have been working with them for a year for the construction of a swimming pool. It's an horrible experience. They don't keep any promises, the deadlines are over for six months, the pool was not built in the right place, and now we have problems with the permit and inspectors because they did not do things correctly. If you want to spend your life waiting for them to come or keep a promise, waiting on the phone hoping you can talk to someone knowledgeable, this is the company for you. A great family pool company. Gave us a very reasonable price. The job was done on time. Each time a part of the job was completed we paid. The owner Jose came everyday to check on the work his workers were do. We had replastering of the pool & new tiles. They put tiles where the previous owner did not have, on the steps & the side step in the deep in. The small spa attached to the design of the pool had no over flow & no tiles on the step. I would give them a big fat 0 star rating if I could. I feel the same as others that are disappointed, they wasted my time as I waited and waited and have yet to hear from them. I made an appointment, they called 30 minutes before they were to arrive and postponed for a window of an extended hour. They said they would call me 30 mins. before Mike was to arrive , never got the call. I called at the end of time she gave me and I was told another 15-20 mins. Mike never showed. With reading other reviews now I'm happy they are not a contender to work on my pool. I originally saw their ad in a neighbor 2 neighbor ad booklet that my ex- husband runs an ad in as an Electrician. I mentioned to him I had an appointment with a pool company from the ad booklet and he new of their name and said he had seen them on a job he had been on in the past, so I was looking forward to meeting them, I have now told him to discourage his clients in calling them to book appointments through this booklet letting them know its just a NO-SHOW type of non-caring company that waste your time.I can't imagine trying to get a hold of them if you aren't satisfied with the job at the end.Glad I got away unscathed. read more

This update should've been done a lot earlier but better late than never! The plaster work never was quite perfect and over the years it has deteriorated and looks bad where the stain still is. I would just encourage everyone to never ever get a colour added to the plaster. Just go with the regular plaster colour. read more

I used tem to plaster my pool and I agree with J.D. Below that said "Not happy with the service I received. Plastering was ok but the pool start up service afterwards was terrible. The company doesn't seem to care after they've gotten your money. They're not professional, disrespectful, and irresponsible..to say the least" The plastering was mediocre they didn't fill it in time and I have minor cracks throughout the pool the startup was done by a family relative that didn't show up 1/2 of the time and my regular pool man said he didn't even put acid in the pool. We decided to re-plaster and update our 1950 pool. We were hesitant, big project, construction debris and trampling in our yard. Also we have grandkids and love to swim during the summer time. We found Premier and we have to say they are simply the best folks we have dealt with in the construction industry since we have been remodeling homes. all the work that was done was high quality. All the pool plumbing was replaced. All the saw cuts in the concrete were straight and perfect. The electrical was redone, tile and light replaced, and finally replaster. They originally told me two to three weeks to completion, but it was finished in just under two weeks. The pool looks brand new. everything was cleaned up, even the street where the truck mixed the plaster. Every member of each crew were professional and courteous. Our 70+ year old pool had major issues - leaking cracks, leaking underground plumbing, missing tiles, non working light. Premier is a very professional company! I needed a full restoration of my deteriorated swimming pool and reading from other reviews made my mind and decided to call Premier for a free quote. Mike Preciado came to make an assessment of what my pool needed and he explained exactly what I wanted it to hear. The price was very competitive and fair if we take in consideration that this company best asset are the different crews they employ who are very skillful and super professional. They come to work equipped with top notch tools and a super hydraulic blaster, and my yard was always left very clean like they never were here! that's amazing! The whole project took about a month (if we convert it to days they were like 6 days in total) but we are talking replacing literally everything in my pool new pipe lines, new tile, new skimmer, new light with new wire and switch, new plaster, a new vacuum connector was added too. I am so far very pleased with Premier and all of the field and administrative personnel. I started my search for a pool contractor here on Yelp. I chose 3 different companies with great reviews to come out for a consultation. I ultimately decided on Premier because of their experience ( they have been in business for 25 years), reasonable quote and because I really liked Mike, one of the owners. He was very professional and straightforward and did not try to sell me on things that I did not need( unlike the other contractors I interviewed). I am very happy with my decision. Mike was on site almost each day to ensure that things were going smoothly. They did a fabulous job from start to finish. My pebble pool is even more beautiful than I expected. I did not end up hiring Premier. My service experience at the outset was extremely poor, leading me to doubt their ability to get anything done. When I first called to make an appointment, the phone system is very odd. Sometimes they have to call you back (something about an internet line, which gets answered as a different name/company). Then the lady can't seem to get my number right so I have to call them back. This back and forth happened a few times. The appointment is set for a 2-hour window. One hour in, they call to say the person can't make it. This after I've stayed home from work to meet him. So I say I can't make a later time (since I have to go to work) and they say they'll send him anyway to take a look - that he doesn't need me there to make the quote. I remind the lady that I need not just plastering but some complicated moving of some of the pipes due to a leak. She said he would just be able to figure that out without any explanation or discussion. I'm not sure how unless he's magic but at this point I'm frustrated and have to go. Apparently he came then I get a call saying a quote was emailed to me. Nothing in my email so I call the lady back and go through the whole "I have to call you back" ritual where I never get the call back so have to call her back. Then she acts like she never said that and asks me why I'm calling. So I tell her I don't have this quote and maybe she has the wrong email. So she asks for my email. I tell her, why don't you tell me what email you have on file and I'll verify. She gets it, and reads it off. There is a mistake in the spelling of my name. I correct it and ask her to read it back. She repeats the mistake. I correct it again and ask her to read it back. She repeats the mistake. One more time. This time, she says "yeah" when I correct her, as if she already knows. Third time's the charm. In the quote that I finally get, it states "I'm aware you were interested in plumbing and new piping work as well but Mike was not able to discuss this in person with you." YES. That was why I said there was no point in him coming if I wasn't there, but she seemed to ignore that when I first mentioned it. Needlessly frustrating, the entire experience. I don't have time for bad service, and definitely not if it spills over into their actual work. Does not bode well for their project management. Happy to avoid. read more

This was the biggest and most expensive house project I have had since I bought my house and so I spent a good deal of time researching and meeting with companies before I made my decision to go with Premiere. I have (or had) an old pool that was built in the 50s which needed a major overhaul. Premiere pretty much stripped it down to the foundation. They redid everything from the plaster, to the coping, to the tile, to the filter, to the concrete deck around the pool. They installed a new filter, new plumbing and new electrical. They came to me with suggestions that would help with maintenance like installing an automatic fill line connected to my house water supply so I didn't have to fill it myself during hot months when the pool lost water. They were patient with me when I changed my mind multiple times about the tile I wanted. They were communicative, efficient, clean, timely and extremely professional. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone that needed work done and I couldn't be more happy with the outcome. I highly recommend them! read more

These guys are hard workers. At a friends recommendation and after interviewing four other contractors we hired Danny at Premier Pool Plastering for a very large job at our home. Basicly they scraped our entire yard including most of our previous pool (it was in a bad location taking up too much room) and built a new pool, spa, water fall and all new yard hardscape. Their crew was wonderful and helpful from day one. My wife is terrific but almost impossible to keep happy and THEY KEPT HER HAPPY the whole time. She called everyday with questions and comments. They were always pleasant to her and tended to her every need. Danny and his foreman were onsite everyday and were great. This is a second generation family company. Father and Son. Danny runs things now but even his dad was at the job site quite often checking on things. Good Guys, hard workers, I'd hire them again for sure. We highly recommend them! read more

Just met Daniel and he showed up without a mask on and seemed annoyed that I asked him to put one on. Really? He was angry and combative for some reason from then on and wouldn't let me finish a complete sentence as I described what we were looking to do and said my pool needed much more work than his brother did in 2018 for the exact same job when I had asked for a estimate from this co then. My sweet pool man recommended him and when I said my pool man had suggested this and that, he said "he is just a pool man and doesn't know what he is talking about" in such a mean and condescending way- really took me back. My pool man was trying to get him business and he talked badly about him in front of me? Classless. He had a know it all attitude and said comments that were the opposite of every single pool contractor I've met- like putting everyone else down in a way. He also seemed very misogynistic toward me like I'm just a low level female or something. We had the most horrendous experience with our pool builder and had to fire them before the job was over (wish I would tell you who, but we had to sign a non defamation contract so we could get out of the contract). This was the ABSOLUTE WORST contractor experience I've EVER had, and I've dealt with a lot of contractors. I would not recommend this company to anyone. My nightmare started in April of 2015 when Premier was recommended to me to come and repair whatever was causing the rust stains that were forming at the bottom of my pool. Otherwise, the pool was fine. They came out and supposedly "fixed' the problem. The first issue was that when they couldn't reach us to pick out the replacement tile for the step, they decided to pick the tiles THEMSELVES and began to lay it down without my approval when we weren't home. It didn't even match the other tile and the color was totally off. I was super upset about it but there was nothing we could do since it was already dried into the plaster and concrete. To make matters worse, once they finished we noticed immediately that there were FOOTPRINTS in the bottom of the pool, so clearly they were in a hurry and only cared about getting it done so they could get the money. In less than ONE WEEK we started to notice that the original rust stains were showing through again, so they obviously didn't fix the problem we had called them about in the first place. Danny told us that we should wait until after the summer so that we could enjoy the pool. At the end of the summer, we called over and over again, and they wouldn't call us back. When we finally got a hold of Danny and he came out again, we learned that in order to fix the problem, we'd need to lay more concrete at the bottom of the pool which would require it getting replastered again! They just finished the job in June of 2016 and our more than year long horrible experience ended up costing more than 2x what they originally quoted us - even with the minor discount they gave us. The bottom line is that they claimed to know how to repair the rust stains in order to get the money, did a Mickey Mouse job and ended up having to do it all over again! read more
