However, during my treatment I realized that most of the orthodontic work was done by assistants rather than the doctor himself. The doctor would give instructions, but in my experience it didn't always seem like the results were closely checked. My teeth were initially brought forward to open my bite. However, at one point they were pulled too far to the left by mistake, and then the team tried to move them back to the right. During those adjustments the wire was over-tightened, and the teeth on the right side ended up tilting inward. At one point, when I raised concerns, the doctor looked at my original photos and asked if the issue had been there before I started treatment. That moment made me question the progress we had made. Eventually the doctor suggested removing my braces and said we had achieved the treatment goals. However, by that time I had already noticed an asymmetry in my bite that had developed during treatment. Even with that concern, I was told the treatment was finished. Because I still had doubts about my bite, I went to another orthodontist for a second opinion. After my consultation, that orthodontist called my treating doctor. I don't know what they discussed, but afterward I was told that the clinic would not be taking me as a patient. I'm not a confrontational person. I simply came in hoping to get a healthy, beautiful smile like the one that was promised by the doctor's reputation Visually my teeth may look straight, and I have been wearing my retainers consistently as instructed. But the inward tilt of my upper teeth is now affecting the angle of my lower teeth, pushing them inward and exposing the necks of the lower teeth. I also continue to deal with headaches and neck pain. Now, about a year after my braces were removed, it's clear that I will likely need to see another specialist and possibly go through orthodontic treatment again to correct my bite. If I had known this would be the result, I would never have agreed to this treatment.

Even though, I left with sadness because it's still a bit below my expectation, yes my chip was fixed but it's not as comfortable and smooth as before, when I got home, I can tell this front tooth is longer than my regular teeth. At my choice it is texted to me, usually 2 weeks before the visit. They never make a change during the visit which will change the cost without asking and explaining. They never bill for work until it has been completed. They stand by their work and, when a couple fillings of mine just fell apart after a few years they figured out with me that it's because I grind my teeth, and didn't wear the ill-fitting night guard I got from another dentist. They miraculously got insurance to cover a new night guard years early, and replaced the fillings for free without being asked, even though it was technically my fault for not taking care of them. The "new" owners (it's been a few years now since they bought the practice) were carefully chosen by the old owners and my sister and I both feel they absolutely provide the same wonderful standard of care.

I previously had booked more than an hour. She is so good that did her job in 20 minutes. Yes, they charge you 1.5 hours for a job that can be done fast. And is fine if they charge what they want. You'll decide if you stay or not. But to schedule you for that long when it's something faster, felt like a scam. Another time I had to pay before leaving. They wouldn't bill first my Insurance. So at the end I overplayed. Later on I had to be the one following up if they were going to refund, send a check, or use it on my next visit. It was a shame they stopped using Insurance. They accept part of it, but being out of network with these things, is not worth it. I thought it was, but I've found so many great dentists lately with super easy way of working, polite, and in network! I don't have to pay extra after my Insurance! It was tough leaving after years, but I guess it's time :( I rang them to let them know about leaving. They couldn't have cared less. Not a survey, not a question after years. I chipped my tooth and returned to this clinic because I had already established care there. The…read moredentist told me the repair would only be a partial filling because my night guard might not fit afterward. After the filling, I experienced sensitivity to hot and cold, along with a sore sensation, for an entire month. I got a second opinion from another dentist, who explained that the filling had not been done properly. They also explained that even if a filling changes the fit of a night guard, the night guard can simply be adjusted. After they redid the filling, my sensitivity to hot and cold completely resolved, and my night guard still fits comfortably without any issues. During my visit to the new dental office, they also performed gum measurements, which had not been done during my initial visit at Bellevue Prime Dental Group. They reviewed my previous X-rays and pointed out that one of them did not fully capture my gums. They also found a significant amount of plaque and tartar buildup. They asked whether there had been a long gap since my last dental cleaning, but I had actually been seen for a cleaning at Bellevue Prime Dental Group in January. Overall, I did not feel that I received a thorough examination or comprehensive care at this clinic. I'm very glad I sought a second opinion as it resolved the ongoing sensitivity from the filling.
