I brought my 2 sons in for invisilign assessments and the doctor was nice and clear to me about what can be done. Eventually telling me that only one of my children would qualify for this treatment. I like the honesty. I eventually have to send my other son for braces treatment elsewhere. My oldest stayed with them for invisilign and his teeth alignment has improved in only 5 months. I brought both of my sons in for Invisalign assessments. The doctor was clear and upfront, letting me know that only one of them was a good candidate while the other would need braces elsewhere. I couldn't have asked for a more understanding dentist office!! I chipped my tooth pretty badly during the weekend and was nervous I wouldn't be able to get into a dentist office on Monday. I called and they were able to see me right at 9:30am! Not only that, they moved around some schedules to be able to get my filling at 11:00am and I was out the door at 12pm! 425 Dental is having some skilled dentists, and yet my experience there has been very poor. From what I saw: - they will always do their best to make your insurance pay the max they can, - their bills are unclear. They made some errors in mine, and it took me months to understand and clarify most of it, - they were always recommending lots of work and Invisalign. They are definitely pushing for more work than required and they are quite expensive. If you have an emergency, and need a skilled dentist quickly, then they might be a good choice. If you want a regular dentist that you can trust, you should look somewhere else. I would give this practice 6 stars if I could for orthodontics. I came to 425 dental for my Invisalign treatment. Not only are their prices the lowest in the region, they are also the nicest Invisalign practice in the area. My friends tell me of other places that would nickel and dime you but not 425 dental. I have had nothing but good experiences with each assistant here. The only downside I would say is that you never really see the orthodontist in person. I don't think its too bad since my results have been pretty great irrespective. I am in the last stretch of my Invisalign treatment and am very happy with it. Even after asking for extra adjustments etc., the practice has been super cooperative and never charged me anything extra. ==== I decided not to go with them for my regular dental needs though, I just had xrays earlier in the year but they want their own set :) , because insurance pays for it (wink!). read more

My husband and I both saw him and he recently pointed out something in my husbands mouth that no other dentist has mentioned... my husband went to see a oral surgeon to get it further evaluated and it ended up being a diagnosis that needed surgery. The review is for the billing....staff who worked on both my wife and I was great. However the billing staff caught us off guards on a visit but the bill was for that visit... it was for a visit that was done few months back. Of course they make you sign and pay whatever due on your visit(which we were happy to do) I hate have some bills come back to me late that WE don't know about......I avoid my last dentist because of that billing. After a few weeks after I made a complaint..I also got a letter stated they no longer contracted with my insurance . Oh well.... Not that I want anymore surprises in my visit. This review is for 425 Dental. I don't know why the Yelp business named is tied to just one dentist when there are several at this location. I'll be calling the office manager to discuss my concerns. I came here for a cleaning and exam. I asked for an appointment with Dr. Shvartsur. It wasn't until after the assistant was done with x-rays and pictures that I met Dr. Sakai. It means a lot to me who my doctors are, and I research them before becoming a patient. I knew nothing about Dr. Sakai. She was kind and professional, but I believe it would have been the right thing of the office to have notified me that Dr. Shvartsur wasn't available so I could reschedule. I wasn't impressed by being offered Botox by the dentist. The reason given was to help loosen muscles in my face. This would be an unnecessary expense. I had to repeat no several times to the dentist and to the hygienist again after the dentist left that I would not be interested. The assistant that took the x-rays and pictures needs better training. I voiced my concerns with Dr. Sakai, and she apologized and let me know that they care about their patients. The issue was that I have had back pain and other medical issues that make laying on my back difficult, and I told the assistant this right away. He still insisted on lowering the chair lower than was necessary. He also put a mirror in my mouth without warning and hit my jaw. When I took it out and asked what was going on, he told me it was to take pictures of my teeth. This was after the x-rays. I told him I didn't understand and didn't want any pictures. He argued with me, stating it was required but didn't give a reason. I relented, but not wanting to, but then he kept hitting my jaw with the mirror. I was frustrated at that point. Then he had someone else come in the room and hold a backdrop and asked me to stand for a photograph like at the DMV, telling me to smile. This made zero sense, but I didn't bother asking why because he wouldn't tell me based on previous behavior. I told Dr. Sakai about needing to know the reason of why something is happening before it just happening or objects stuck in my mouth, and that's when she agreed and apologized. I then was let down when I was asked where I work by Dr. Sakai. After I responded, she ramped up the sales speech. I was told that based on the x-rays, they wanted to do four deep cleanings when all past dentists have only needed two plus a fifth appointment for minor cavities. Then she told me I need braces, which I've never heard before in my life. I don't have any crooked teeth except one weird one. When I asked where this advice was coming from, she said that based on my insurance, it would cover it and because I have an overbite, there would be a chance when I'm elderly of some issues. She said that with Invisalign, the braces would only need to be worn for 6 months. I'm really skeptical about this; I'm afraid that dollar signs were flashing based on my insurance. I still have co-pays and after receiving the quote from the office on how much just the deep cleanings and fifth appointment would be, it's very expensive for me. I am paid by the hour. Come on. The dental hygienist did a basic cleaning then tried to sell me on an expensive Sonicare toothbrush. When I was checking out, the office staff told me they were booked solid until July. I was here mid-April. Also, I saw other patients standing while they were getting their x-rays done. The assistant made me lay down in a chair, after I told him I was having back pain, for my x-rays. Not cool. All things considered, after I speak with the office manager, I will most likely be going back to my previous dentist, even though I've moved and he's a couple hours away from where I live now. read more

They are always caring and most importantly have been honest with me about the treatment I need and don't need. I recently completed Invisalign with them and can't be more happy with results. When I tell you I have dental anxiety, I mean that I had avoided the dentist for 10 years because of a bad experience I had, but once I started getting some tooth pain, I knew I had to get back before it got too bad. Every single person I have seen here has been SO KIND and understanding about my dental anxiety, and there was never an ounce of judgment about it keeping me out of the dentist chair for a decade. Everything is explained, and xrays and even photos of tooth decay are shown so you understand all the work needed. I just finished treatment plan for everything I needed after so long away, and I am finally over my anxiety. Everyone asks me how I'm doing many times throughout each appointment to make sure I am ok. I've seen both Dr. Sakai and Dr. Snipes for my fillings and crown, and cannot say enough about both of them being so gentle and accommodating. I was apprehensive about trying a new dentist, but had no choice as my previous dentist decided to retire and sell her practice. I really did not know what to expect. The reception area was warm and unassuming. Once my name was called though...wow. The staffs were sharp and concierge-like. They all had Bluetooth headsets so they are in communication with each other the whole time. The black uniform was also a nice touch, as it feels more like a luxury spa or a five-star hotel instead of a clinic. So, I was feeling a little under-dressed for the occasion when I was led past a bunch of window seats to a chair without a window. Despite the slight disappointment for the non-rainy view that isn't going to last, the neck pillow and blanket they gave me to make me comfortable helped me forget that quickly. Monique did the x-ray for me. I liked how she kept me informed and distracted the whole time without feeling like it was too much or forced. When I expressed my concern about the ultrasonic scalers, Dr. Sakai warmly reassured me that she has personally had to sit in the chair of every dental hygienist at the office. That was really reassuring. Both Monique and Dr. Sakai told me that in looking at the x-rays, I should consider doing a deep cleaning and possibly Invisalign. I was apprehensive at first because I have not heard about this deep cleaning before. And frankly, although they were pointing at the x-rays, it's kind of hard for me to see what they are talking about. But I figure they look like they know what they are talking about, I might as well try it. I'm so glad I did. Zhanna, who did the cleaning for me, was awesome! I'm not a fan of needles. The way she takes her time to do the topical first, and then lightly tug/massage the cheek when the needle goes it made it such that I barely felt it. She frankly did a better job helping me get numb than some of the other dentists I've worked with in the past. Moreover, I was at a point where I was buying a lot of gum because despite brushing and using mouth wash and chewing gums, I just don't feel like I have a fresh breath. The deep cleaning did the trick. I could totally feel the difference. Unfortunately, throughout this process, they also found a cavity. I haven't had a cavity in this century! So naturally I was apprehensive...again. I thought Zhanna did an amazing job giving me the injection? Dr. Sakai too! I didn't even feel the needle. Just amazing. The mouth brace they used also made things nice as I didn't have to get a sore jaw from keeping my mouth open. I also liked the Invisalign consult with Dr. Oleg. He was very clear and realistic in not over promising on what the adjustment can and cannot do. I am not doing it for cosmetic reasons. I want to avoid having to have a gum graft later or another chipped crown from having crossbite in the wrong places. Anyhow, I would recommend this dentist office without any reservation. As icing on the cake, I casually remarked that I was disappointed that I didn't get a window seat after my cleaning appointment. I don't know whether it was by design or not, but I got a window seat on my follow-up cleaning appointment. read more

I've done a number of cleanings, 2 root canals, a filling and now an Invisalign treatment.  I would rate this place much higher than a 5 if I could, my experience has been tremendous with every single visit. I am close to half way done and the results have been unbelievable, I can't wait to see how my smile will look when my treatment is complete. This is a top notch dental practice. The office itself is clean and comfortable, and the staff is always helpful and friendly. I've never had to wait past my appointment time. My experiences there have been nothing but extremely positive, and I've always felt that Dr. Oleg has been present and involved with my treatment since I started. His staff have also taken great care of me during my visits. My experience with Dr. Oleg's office came about in a funny way. I started an Invisalign treatment down in San Diego halfway through 2017. In February 2018 I flew down to SD to finish my treatment and place an order for the retainers I'd be wearing for the next 4-6 years. However upon flying back I noticed that my bite wasn't quite even. My front upper teeth were hitting one of my front lower teeth and causing it to be pushed back uncomfortably. Because I was now living in Seattle, my dentist in San Diego had me reach out to his friend Dr. Oleg for the remainder of my Invisalign treatment. Dr. Oleg happily took over my treatment and showed me what was happening with my bite and why it was uneven. He worked with me to straighten and even out my bite and smile. I've visited his office about once a month for follow-ups and new Invisalign trays from March through August. I am happy to report that my teeth have been fixed and I am extremely happy with my smile. I have my final retainers and I'm wearing them now. The doctor was fine but there are some serious billing issues happening with this practice. I received USD$531.19 bill after over 3 months since my last visit. The bill did not provide any breakdown, all I can see is one line item with an outstanding balance of USD $531.19, there is no explanation, nothing on that bill. I have 2 dental insurance so I looked into both insurance claim records. Both insurance were billed and paid for my services and there was no outstanding balance that needed to be paid by me. I reached out to the billing team on 7/15/23 with all my insurance records, and stating that there should be no balance and I still have not gotten a response as of today(8/3). It has been almost 3 weeks and no updates, nothing. I decided to work on reconciliation on my own because I do not trust any of their billing anymore. Looking through all my service charges and comparing 2 insurance companies I have for 2023. I realize the issue was that Dental 425 did not apply to my Delta Dental Discount that was USD$758.09. Once the discount is applied not only will the balance be brought back to positive, the practice actually owes me USD$226.9 dollars. The worst thing is that this is not the first time this exact same issue happened, the same issue with the practice not applying insurance network discount happened last year 9/21/2022 as well. And I need to fight for my bill in order to update my account record. Their billing practice is deeply deceptive to consumers and I wonder how many more innocent patients are paying unnecessary high medical bills due to those shady practices. Truly the best orthodontist for Invisalign! I was originally referred to another orthodontist by my own dentist close to where I live in Greenlake Seattle. They seemed nice, futuristic startup looking office but they quoted me over $6000 and 18 months for treatment and I never met with an actual orthodontist. This seemed crazy to me considering I only had some mild crowding I wanted fixed and had dual dental insurance. I decided to look around and thankfully found 425 dental! They quoted me less than $800 and only about 9 months of treatment. Don't let the price difference fool you, they are just as luxurious as the other orthodontist but instead have a much more warm and welcoming environment instead of being futuristic and cold. I actually met Dr. Nikole during my consultation who was very thorough with my questions. When I was about 5, I slipped and fell in the bathtub which left me with a chipped front tooth and short roots. Dr. Nikole was actually actually honest the due to the short roots, my front tooth could become compromised and I would have to make decision to stop treatment or continue with a permanent retainer put in to prevent the tooth from falling out. The previous orthodontist never even discussed this and reassured me the tooth would be fine. Well I'm not at the end of my Invisalign and 8 months later I have a brand new smile. Everyone there is truly amazing, special shout-out to Yuliya their orthodontist director who goes above and beyond and even gives her personal number and highly encourages you to reach out for questions or concerns. I would high recommend them for Invisalign and any dental care. Even if you live further out like me who is about an hour out, I still make the drive since the Invisalign appointments are only every couple months!
