You will be impressed at consultation, but the doctor won't spend time on you after you start your treatment. Max 1-2 minutes, sometimes 20 seconds. I had some issues I was concerned about but I felt like it was neglected and wasn't given enough time to talk about it with her. The assistant basically just delivers the message. This review is only for our consultation visit , I'll be sure to update as my son starts his treatment . We were referred from our dentist because of my sons age they wanted to see how everything was growing . As parents, we thought everything looked fine and that he probably wouldn't need any work done . Little did we know, he has so much going on that we had no idea about so I'm so glad we came in. Marla was seriously the nicest person ever and sooo helpful . She really involved my son in our conversation to put him at ease and really make him understand the process and what's going to happen. The orthodontist came in as well to explain everything in detail about his X-rays and what she feels he needed and what might happen if we don't get any work done . We didn't feel pressured at all , we didn't feel like we would be judged if we chose not to get work done either . We start the process of his braces later this month so I'll continue to update here as it goes on. Dr. Egger was far and above the most natural choice. Her treatment plan was very cut and dried as Dr. Egger knew exactly what would be required. Her confidence in her work is second to none. I have always had the most professional interactions with all of her staff from our very first phone call. Dr. Egger surrounds herself with a staff that excels at what they do just as she does. Me and my son came in this week for our first appointments since the office has reopened. We were a little nervous before coming in just due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Once we got to the office, we were immediately at ease - we felt very safe when we saw the changes that they have made. The office set up is much better for patient care now that all treatment areas are separated by private curtains. That also have new social distancing protocols to included completing a health screening online, taking every patients temp, using hand sanitizer, wearing a mask before and after treatment, separated lobby areas and using a separate exit door from where we entered. Dr. Egger and our favorite assistant, Jen were so thoughtful and we felt at ease. We had a great visit and felt taken care of as always! read more

We have two girls in braces at the same time and Egger Orthodontics has made the experience really wonderful. I was concerned that the kids might be nervous or intimidated but between the games & movies in the lobby and the kind staff... they just glide right in each time. After the appointment, they receive easy to follow instructions and both of them look forward to reward tokens for earning prizes for following the treatment plan (SO smart... where was this when I was a kid?) A note about scheduling since some of the old reviews mentioned it -- Our family is as busy as any that I know and we have never had any problem scheduling appointments for both of the kids. Even last minute changes and illness were accommodated with kindness. Dr. Egger and her team are clearly great at what they do and have thought of just about everything. read more

Love Dr. Egger and her staff. Prior to treatment, my daughter looked like the poster child for "needing braces" - weird bite and jumbly (is that even a word?) teeth -- you get the idea. Just one year later, the difference is just remarkable but my 5 star review is really for the lovely people at Egger Orthodontics. The staff really understands children. The office was always decorated with new, engaging displays (like Star Wars or Harry Potter); tokens and prizes to keep my daughter motivated to follow the treatment plan and easy to understand directions/hand-holding for me (haha) Also, I wanted to highlight something that is extra special about Egger Ortho that I'd never seen before. During one of my daughter's appointments... there was another young patient being treated in the adjacent chair. He had his service dog sitting right on his chest while she was adjusting his braces. It was so sweet that I remarked to one of the staff about it. She said that their office specializes in kids with special needs but it's not something that they publicize. Have been a patron of Egger Orthodontics for 10 years, and have always been satisfied with my experience. I would give 5 stars, however currently I am very dissatisfied with my Egger experience. Apparently, if you do not schedule appointments frequently enough with Egger, they will shut down your account in as quickly as less than a year, and with no notice preceding full account closure. I took a break from my Invisalign treatment as I needed a root canal for my front tooth. Since then I have returned to wearing my Invisalign trays (several of which were given to me in advance), and was within weeks of scheduling an appointment for a checkup, and new trays. I received a letter from Nadine today that my Invisalign program has been shut down, and that I must reopen the account within 30 days, or our Doctor/Patient relationship will be terminated. This letter was disrespectful and rude, the first I ever received regarding this matter, and paid no attention to customer experience. No personal responsibility was taken by the ortho. I understand and apologize that there was weak communication, but this is the first personal message I have received from Egger in as long as I can remember. Not only is this behavior rude, but I am also now being strong armed into paying unnecessary fees. I opened this letter and immediately called the office at 4:39, but no one was available to answer my call. I will update my review with my experience resolving this issue. --------- Update: I worked out the issue with the clinic, all were friendly as always and I am back on Invisalign treatment. read more

I agree with the other review. It was very hard to get appointments as the office is closed a lot. This added stress and a couple of months to my daughters treatment. We were never sure how the staff was going to be, a little like walking on egg shells. Sometimes they were nice but most often they were not. Cindy (perhaps the first reviewer) chewed me out because my daughters doctors appointment went long and I called to say we would be late. My daughters mouth was left with a gap between teeth and I was told by our dentist that it had caused a cavity. I had to pay him to fix both the space and the cavity. Their "permanent" retainer has broken twice in the first year? Now as she goes off to college in another state they want us to pay to fix the "permanent" retainer. Not to mention when it breaks again... Would not send a friend and their children to this Ortho. The experience was 26 months of hell and sadly still going. read more

Mostly the experience was good - but if you have a child in school, not so much. There were several times we made our appointments well in advance to try to one of the few before school/after school appointments. Then they would contact us to reschedule for some reason on their end. Sometimes a month or more past when he was originally scheduled to get in. They said when he started that they were open one Friday a month, but I really don't know when those were - I can remember being able to schedule a Friday appointment once. So, if you don't mind extending the time your child wears braces or have a month or two throughout where basically nothing is happening, it's fine. read more

I can't say enough great things about Dr. Egger and her staff! I completed my invisilign treatment over a year ago and I couldn't be more thrilled about my teeth! They look AMAZING! Dr. Egger and her staff are so kind, knowledgeable and fun! I looked forward to going into the office to see them. They always remembered me and would remember things from our previous conversations. Customer service plus! I disagree with previous reviews, I never had issues finding an appointment they were always extremely accommodating. In addition, she has a beautiful office, which made the experience that much better. I would HIGHLY recommend her for your orthodontic needs. I was a patient wearing Invisalign Starting June 9,2009 and ending in 2014, 5 years later! My original contract was for one year. The purpose of braces was to correct my bite in my back teeth. After One and a half years, Dr. Egger stated the back teeth were not moving. I asked her to switch to Metal braces. She said she wanted to try rubber bands between the back teeth instead. I wore the rubber bands for about two and one half years longer totaling 4 years. She kept saying" Everything was looking good and coming along fine". Nice general statements implying that I was having success and the back teeth were moving. In 2014 she took the braces off and said she had done the best she could and that I should go to Dr. Johnson the Proshtodontist to reshape and fix my teeth. During the time that I was wearing retainers, I went to a consultaion with Dr. Johnson, and 2 Orthodontists Dr. Lemery, and Dr.Simons. Each Doctor said I needed to completely start over with new metal braces to correct my bite. They also said they would not have used Invisalign in the beginning, and my teeth were in good condition to wear braces. They documented several chips on the sides of my teeth that would require new crowns to repair. I was absolutely DEVASTATED to receive this news several times. I stopped going to Dr. Egger and looked for an attorney. At this time it is too expensive to for me to pay a lawyer, so I am asking Dr. Egger to do the right thing Please pay for my new metal braces and one damaged tooth that cracked from Dr. Egger constantly drilling and Invisalign banging. When Covid-19 first started, my 16 year old son had to go in himself and communicate back to me where his orthodontic treatment was at. Unfortunately he dropped the ball and I never received key information. Their office apparently sent an email which went to Spam and was never seen by me. No call was ever made by the office to me to find out why there was no action taken by me. When, a year later, this all became clear, I met with Dr. Egger to try and get things fixed for the completion of his orthodontic treatment, she would not take any responsibility for having assumed that a 16 year old boy was able to accurately relay to me key information, nor would she take responsibility for her office never calling (especially after the email that went to Spam was never responded to!) Sadly, our meeting ended with her saying she would not finish treating my son...simply because her ego got bruised by my frustrations. Very unprofessional. It is only fair to note that up until this altercation, the office was very recommendable. Sad ending. Now my son is suffering simply for being a 16 year old during Covid (when I couldn't come in the office with him). read more

We loved Egger Orthodontics. Both my husband and 2 kids were treated by Dr. Egger and her staff with excellent results. We found everyone professional, knowledgeable and helpful. I could always get the kids in without missing school as long as I scheduled my next appointment promptly and my husband had no problem either. The office has a great incentive program where the kids can earn gift cards or other cool things which keeps them motivated and I really appreciate a clean, inviting and comfortable waiting room with my favorite magazine and cup of coffee! Agree with the other reviews that it's difficult to call and reach someone. I always see so many people in the office but when you call, nobody answers. I brought my son here because his dentist said she specialized in under-bites. I found the staff to be nice but I didn't find Dr. Egger to be very warm compared to our other orthodontist and I didn't like how my son's treatment turned out, seems she over expanded the top of his mouth (his dentist thought so too). I also found that she spends less time with us at each visit compared to our other orthodontist. I decided not to take my third son there. read more

Dr.Egger and her assistants are fantastic. I've lost a few retainers and have to go back again because a tooth shifted due to my recent loss. Hoping she can work her magic and save this tooth. If you can get past the sassiness of the front desk, your in for great treatment, they can make you feel like an inconvenience sometimes. I wish I only had to see the floor staff, but I can look past that. She's a smart ortho who knows what she's doing. That's shat I care about most. read more
