I actually came across their office randomly while getting my hair done in the same shopping center. Long story short, I had been procrastinating on scheduling a dentist appointment. It's just one of those visits I never look forward to... maybe years of braces left me a little traumatized, who knows. My husband also needed an appointment, but he kept saying he'd just continue seeing his previous dentist out of state. We do travel there quarterly, so it wasn't a huge deal, but I decided to call anyway. From the moment they answered the phone, I was impressed. The receptionist was warm, welcoming, and professional, which made it easy for me to go ahead and book the appointment. I received a confirmation the day before, and again, the communication was courteous and professional. I'll admit, I was still a bit hesitant, so I checked the reviews. I did notice some negative ones at first, but quickly realized those were tied to the previous dentist, not the current team. I'm so glad I gave them a chance. Dr. Chen and the entire staff were absolutely wonderful. The experience from start to finish was nothing short of excellent. I've always believed that when the first impression is strong, it reflects how much pride a business takes in both the small and big details and that definitely holds true here. I had all four wisdom teeth removed and four cavities filled, and the entire process was smooth from start to finish. The staff was professional, calm, and explained everything clearly, which made a big difference going into a procedure like that. I came to this office as a new patient and I am so glad that I did! It looks like the reviews on here might be a little outdated as the office is under new ownership and staff as of last year from what I understand. Dr. Chen saw me over the weekend as an emergency and he was very thorough, conservative, gentle and compassionate. I really appreciated that he came in on his day off to see me and make sure I was taken care of when no one else would. He made sure that I understood the work that I needed done and answered all of my questions and even stayed to do the treatment same day so that I could get out of pain. But that's where the good news ends. * The staff is exceedingly rude - especially the blonde secretary/billing lady. * The practice is exceedingly scammy - multiple codes that insurance won't cover, they will find problems despite multiple other dentists finding none. * They *******REQUIRE********* a credit card, yet they charge you 3.5% to use it. I'm going to start paying it foreign currency or anything else that costs them 10x to use. personally. I don't know why anyone would voluntarily choose Denti Belli. I went to this place earlier this year in January. The office is very clean. Dr. Taylor and her staff are friendly. It was one of the rougher cleanings I've had with the hygienist but my teeth were definitely clean. It was also nice to get a welcome card after my new patient visit. However, this office does feel a bit geared toward cosmetic dentistry as they do have advertisement videos playing in the lobby. I was more interesting in getting a basic teeth cleaning so this ended up not being a good fit for me in the end. I also did get a treatment estimate for a few fillings that came in higher than prior dentists as well. The breaking point for me was when they started charging extra fees due protective equipment for COVID. This is a really hard time for small business, including Dental offices. However, I did contact my insurance who recommended that dentist offices not charge their patients extra for this service. read more

GREAT dentist for senior citizens! My mom was really having a difficult time finding a dentist who was understanding to her needs. She is hard of hearing and sometimes misses a lot of each conversation and most dentists did not take the time or care enough to make sure she understood things. Dr Taylor and her crew, ALL of them, are so very kind and make sure to take the time necessary to explain the procedures and costs and really made my mom feel comfortable and safe. My mom had to do the difficult transition to partial dentures and they have accommodated her when she has needed adjustments or had questions - they are just a very good dental office. I also go there for my dental care and have always had the best care and treatment. If you are looking for a dentist with a super clean and an up to date office (same day crown install!) this is the place to go. Right off the 405 freeway so very convenient to get to also. read more

I procrastinated going to the dentist after I moved to Washington, so this was my first appointment in about two years. Even from the start it wasn't a great experience - apparently the only coffee machine is in the lobby, so the hygienists and assistants were hanging out and talking right next to where I was waiting. The hygienists who did my x-rays was very talkative and friendly, but she really cut up my mouth during the x-ray process. The roof of my mouth was bleeding from where the edges of the bitewings had pressed in. This hasn't happened before, but I also used to go to a dentist that had more advanced x-ray equipment. The exam was fine, I thought Dr. Taylor was very professional and friendly. However - she told me I needed to get 10 fillings, get deep cleanings every 4 months, and buy a prescription toothpaste. At my last exam two years ago my teeth were fine, so I was feeling a bit uneasy about all this work. The nail in the coffin was when I stopped at the front desk on the way out. Not only did I need to book 4 separate appointments and book the appointments several months out, but they needed me to prepay even though I have dental insurance. Why would I have to pay up front for things my insurance covers? I also felt like the administrator looked down upon me because I hadn't studied my dental insurance in depth, and talked down to me as she was explaining that I would have to pay for a cleaning without insurance later in the year. I ended up going to a different dentist is Bellevue and they told me I didn't need a deep cleaning, didn't need prescription toothpaste, and only needed 2 fillings! So glad I didn't go through with the extensive treatment prescribed at Denti Belli. read more

This is the first dental practice I've gone to that actually offers choices in what I have done. The other offices I've gone to before have never told me what they were putting in when I've had fillings done. Now I know why my fillings never lasted long! Dr. Taylor offered me better fillings for a little bit more, gave me papers to take home and look at, and emphasized the fact that there was no pressure, they just wanted me to be informed. Personally, after reading why some things are being better than others, I'd happily pay more knowing that it'll last. You get what you choose to pay for, and I appreciate that transparency. Oh, and she is sooo gentle when working on patients! I can't believe what a great experience I had. Highly recommended. On a side note about the Covid charges mentioned by another reviewer, I think I saw most businesses charging a small fee for it for a time. I worked in the medical field and the fees for even gloves and masks jumped up by 400% in my office! I understand why there was a need to charge a little bit for a while. I don't know where to begin this place is filled with crooks! I scheduled an appointment for my husband and told my husband to call me if they tried to charge him for cleaning. My husband called said they want an additional $100.00 so I call the office and talk to one of the employees she proceeds to tell me that they bill peoples insurance as a courtesy! But they charge upfront regardless of what the insurance says they will cover. Umm they type of dental insurance we have is 100 percent normal maintenance is covered. The lady at this dental office tells me that it's insurance fraud for my husband to get a standard cleaning. Ummmm whattt?? We are asking for a normal standard cleaning we don't want a deep cleaning is all that I said! I told my husband to get up and sign a form releasing his dental record and leave that place. The office women I spoke with has no clue what she's talking about and to use crazy terms like insurance fraud is so out of line. I had a major tooth extraction done this past week and Dr. Taylor paid little to no attention to the infection that was residing in the gum tissue. There was no follow up from the dental office until I called with a swollen face for antibiotics. As the days went by the swelling continued and the pain grew worst to the point that I had to reach out to a dental office that was able to see me for an emergency on a Saturday morning. Thankfully I found sunrise dental in Issaquah where they said I had an emergency at hand needing grafting, platelets and stitches. They were surprised that i was not given stitches. Ive had 2 follow up calls since to check on how I'm doing and email follow up as well with post op details. dr Taylor was negligent and had little regard for my well being.i am glad I was able to get help since she offered me zero support and I had a major dental emergency that could have been avoided if she had treated my infection properly I will never go back she's an irresponsible dentist who has no regard for her patients well being. read more

I procrastinated establishing with a dentist when I relocated to the area. But when it was time I actually lived on the edge and reached out to a local dentist who is flyer had come to my mail. The flyer had stated that this particular dentist and office had one awards for being the best in Renton and I can see why. Dr. Taylor is very kind and soft-spoken and thorough. She make sure to use layman's terms when discussing your teeth and dental hygiene. Her office is clean and well kept and up-to-date. Her dental hygienist have always been very friendly. They are very punctual and her office is very good about sending reminders via email and text which is helpful in order to keep your appointment. I've got a great program for those who do not have dental insurance to make sure you can keep up with your dental health. I was a long time patient at this practice. I have recently had to say goodbye. Their business practices are extreamly poor. She appears to be super professional, however I have a different experience with her. She is over charging. Watch your bill, check with other more qualified Dentists, get a second opinion from other more qualified Dentists in the area to be sure you are not being over charged unecessarily or she is not asking you to have a procedure or restoration done in your mouth that might not need to be done unnecessarily. Dr. Taylor is one of the most friendly dentists I've ever met. Wants to ensure everything about your visit is right. Understands that previous experiences could cause issues and is willing to work with each patient. Does not try to mold the patient to her practice policies but instead makes her practice work for each individual patient. She DOES NOT overbook patients! Dr. Taylor spends quality time with each patient and has a staff that works with her and not for her. Yes, there is a difference. You can tell that her staff enjoys being there and adores her. Their care for the patient, the quality of their work, and information/explanation all the way through the process makes one feel at ease. I had broken 2 front teeth one evening, and went to Denti Bella as they opened in the AM. They were able to squeeze me before noon. My family has been coming to this dentist's office since Dr. Chan owned it under Impressions Dentistry. After his passing we continued going out of respect for him but have since found another office for a couple reasons. The final factor in our decision to switch practices was that my husband had to cancel an appointment which he had scheduled for mid-day on a Monday. We both work full-time so he had arranged for his mother to watch our two young children. Over the weekend she had come down with a cold and told him she would not be able to babysit on Monday. We were unable to find someone else to watch the kids and so my husband called and left a voicemail explaining the situation and asked the office call back to reschedule his appointment. Monday morning he got a call from Dr. Taylor asking if he was sure he could not come in, which he was. She then told him if he could not make it in they were going to charge him a $75 cancellation fee for canceling the same day. I work in a professional setting and understand how frustrating it is to have appointments cancelled but the major issue we had with this specific situation is that Denti Belli is closed for 72 hours before Monday as their office is not open on Fridays. I do not know how they expect their patients to abide by their rules when their office hours doesn't make it possible. Furthermore, my husband requested a call back to reschedule his appointment not just to cancel it. We were loyal clients of Dr. Chan and gave Dr. Taylor plenty of business after she took over the practice but her inconsideration and inadequate policies are not worth the average services she provides. read more

I have been with Denti Belli (formerly Impressions Dentistry [miss the easy name]) for several years and always loved the experience. However, since the changes I have felt completely harassed. I go in when I go in and I don't like being called every week for months to schedule an appointment. No matter how many times I said I would call them and I am in a busy season at work, they just kept calling. Finally they threatened me with deleting my file in a rude email even though I have told them I am going to make an appointment after things die down at work. I have been impressed with her professionalism and hands on approach. I means a lot to me when a dentist spends more than 2 minutes with a patient during an office visit. I really think that that she is concerned about every one of her patients oral health and is striving to make your experience as pleasant as possible. She is very well qualified and able to perform more procedures than offices with multiple dentists. Fantastic experience for both children and adults. I have been seeing a dental provider in this space for over 10 years. Dr. Taylor is new to the space and a new provider for both my son and I. I was extremely skeptical trying a new provider as both my son and I have had some uncomfortable dental experiences in the past. My son had a few fillings and Dr. Taylor was kind, patient and communicative. My 11 year old son has much less fear and anxiety after his appointment with Dr. Taylor. I had a teeth cleaning with Laura who was absolutely fantastic as well. She is an extremely knowledgeable hygienists who offered some innovative solutions to some long term issues I've had, which was greatly appreciated. Other hygienist have overlooked attempting to problem solved and only focused on symptoms so I appreciated this very much. I was provided a treatment plan, which I was also skeptical about because I haven't had a filling in over a decade. Dr. Taylor reviewed my treatment plan and x-rays in detail. I feel completely confident and trust the team here and highly recommend this dental office. With the ownership change I had considered moving my dental care closer to my home on Mercer Island but I will continue to travel here for the quality care and excellent team.
