My husband and I met with them a couple of times to arrange full upper and lower implants for him. We arranged the surgery date, and signed the contract and loan paperwork ($40,000). They canceled the surgery twice the DAY OF surgery, and acted as if it were no big deal. My husband has severe anxiety, so was highly stressed and incredibly disappointed as this was supposed to be a positive experience and outcome. As an hourly worker, it was also highly inconvenient for me as I arranged to take work off both times. On 3rd visit, we had a different surgeon that we had never met before and told us they could only do lower implants as my husband would need special surgery to do the upper implants, which had never been discussed with us before.They also said they couldn't do the specific surgery needed, and when asked, they had no referrals ready to give us of who could perform the surgery. My husband did get the lower implants done and was happy with them, and we were refunded for the part of treatment not completed. But the indifference we felt at the way we were treated, and the stress and anxiety he felt over what was supposed to be an exciting and positive experience to help him feel better, made us regret our choice of this business.

My father's case, on the other hand, was a extremely difficult case that he couldn't find any dentist in Tokyo, Japan to take on. So he was traveling here to get his implants done and the rest of the dental work a couple of times a year the last several years. The most difficult case was the implant surgery that uses the zygomatic bones (cheek bones)-- this was a very new technology and technique two years ago and the success has saved my father's life! He has been able to eat! Dr. Allen is not only amazing in his expertise but also as a man. He has high moral and ethics, very caring and respectful to his patients yet humble -- he is definitely a man of character. Oh and he's so fun to be around! (One time he came to our house to pick my father up since I couldn't take him to the clinic myself and Dr. Allen needed him there on that day. What doctor would do that even in a very special case?!)
