They show genuine concern, answer any questions I may have, and really explain my care plan well. Very nice building, private parking lot, and friendly staff! I and my boyfriend had our first appointments here for X-Rays, a check-up, and teeth cleaning. We made our appointments easily and our gave them our insurance information in advance so we just had to check in and fill out some basic forms when we arrived. The facilities and the waiting room are very nice. There is also a Keurig for hot coffee/tea, and bottled water in the mini fridge. Katherine did my initial exam, X-rays, and teeth cleaning/polishing and she was great to talk to and made me feel very comfortable! Dr. Chen came in later to do the rest of the check-up and made some recommendations on what I could do to fix some chips I had in my teeth. The front desk provided me with an estimate on what the out-of-pocket expenses would be if I wanted to address some of the items to improve my "smile" so I'll be booking something in the near future to follow up. --- Update Been here a few times now for cleanings and filling a chip. Every experience has been great! Service is excellent and the building is beautiful! Plus it's close to home for me so super convenient location and lots of parking! read more

Inspired dentistry was the best clinic I've been to in 20 years. They have actual hygienists and they take their time for cleanings. The last place I went to (Kent smiles) the dentist did my cleaning in under ten minutes. The dentist and DA were constantly checking on my comfort and were so careful here! I'm pretty upset. I would give 0 stars if I could . I was happy I found a place but after being charge a month or two later. Is ridiculous because of a mistake a front desk made. I call around looking for a dentist cause I move and check who accept my insurance and finally this place said they did . Of course when I got everything done. They told me I'm covered for my cleaning and of course I paid out pocket for my filling 200$ . Cause they said it would be best in case I need come back for a crown. I have insurance and all the time cleaning is covered knowing that they told me they accepted my insurance I thought I found a good place few months later I got email saying I owe them 350$! And I am so confused. I try talking to the front desk and they keep saying oh I will leave a message to Alice the owner and I don't get any answers or respond . I am not coming back to this horrible customer service and confusion. Because of this they lost a customer . And I hope whoever deciding come here think twice about it. The front desk should've check like all the other dentist place I have call and this is absolutely their own mistake! They told me I needed deep cleanings here, but I talked to a periodontist and another dentist, and they said my gums were healthy. I think I must have had some really bad experiences with dentist when I was younger. I have been petrified for over 30 years to go see one, and my mouth is the proof. My friend recommended Dr Chen as the best dentist she has ever been to. Since my husbands office said use it or lose it on the dental insurance I decided to go. I am so glad I did! Dr. Chen is caring, patient and gentle. My first visit was a cleaning, then back for a crown. I was really nervous but with a little Nitris and a kind staff I made it through. I had another appointment today to fill two front teeth. I was a bit nervous thinking what a dreadful spot to have worked on. NO PROBLEMS! She got that Novocaine in without me ever feeling the needle. After that it was a breeze. I was supposed to have my crown seated today, but she found a hairline crack in the crown and we have to send it back. I don't know if another dentist would have noticed that. All I can say is if you are an old scardy cat like me, from bad childhood experiences you should give this wonderful doctor and staff a try. read more

I was on the search for looking for a new Dentist, since it's been years since I've had dental insurance. I called to find out if they accept my insurance and the girl who answered seemed clueless. She put me on hold to ask another receptionist and then comes back and says, the receptionist will give me a call back with an answer. 1 hour goes by and still no call back. Even though I have faithfully seen a dentist every 6 months Dr. Chen told me I needed several things done in my mouth including a deep cleaning. I was only changing dentist due to insurance coverage and have never been told that before. She also wanted to do a biopsy of a little spot that I pointed out on my tongue. She didn't even see this spot till after the exam when I asked about it. I felt like these things were not necessary. I then made an appt. with a specialist before I was going to have my tongue cut to remove a spot. The specialist did a simple pressure test and told me that is was nothing to be concerned about but said he would do the biopsy if I really wanted it. I also saw another dentist and was not told I needed a deep cleaning. I want people to know that she is nice but my experience is that she wanted to do unnecessary work. She also appears to have a large staff of dental hygienists that do these deep cleanings.... and she fills their schedules. She has a specific person to reassure you that you need these procedure and to help with making you feel comfortable in scheduling these deep cleaning procedures, rather than the front desk. Dr. Chen does the exam and has you schedule your cleaning after so she can decide if you need a deep cleaning, hmmm, something I have never experienced. Usually the cleaning and exam are done at the same appt. Again I have never had this type of an environment with a dentist before where I have felt over sold on doing extra dental work. I have always seen dentist that are caring, more on the conservative side and not pushing extra procedures. I did not go back after this first visit. Red Flags!!! read more

She kept me informed and explained everything she was doing in great detail. I've never had a hygienist do that. The x-rays are usually the part I dread the most but not at inspired dentistry. They use a different type of x-ray system that is comfortable and has less radiation.
