Okay, been coming here for a while but today has been the third time with issues. I'm not sure what exactly goes on, but my appt to be exact was at 4:15pm we arrived at 4:00pm There was around 15 people in the waiting area. 4:55pm I walked up to the front desk asked how much longer because last time I was 12 minutes late they cancelled me. Now , let's talk about being fair hold yourself accountable if that's how patients time is being managed. I won't waste your time but respect the patients time as well. Upon requesting for him to go they took him to the back. 7 patients waiting on the chairs only 2 staff members and another 15 minute wait. Now, its not science but if you keep taking new patients wouldn't it make sense to have sufficient staff? This is not okay! I'm shooked how unprofessional it is. They are excellent orthodontist. My son has been a patient for almost 2 yrs and the orthodontist is excellent she goes above and beyond. Britney was excellent helping and guiding my son through scans and pictures. Overall the service during visits are great and employees are nice. I've been a long time patient of Premier ortho, back when they started with Dr. Hudson. This place has done a complete 180 and has gone so far down, I don't think there's any coming back. They used to take pride in their office, staff, and patients. Now, it's a hot mess, new staff every time we come in for a check up, & so un personable. I have never been so disappointed with an organization. I brought my children here when Dr, Lee was in charge, it was great experience. So now I decided to fix my teeth and it this company told me they could fix my teeth and I would be done within a year and that was a lie well now I need extra work that will cost me $6000 additional cost. Now let's talk about the insane of reminder and confirming notifications you receive. Lastly when you do come to your appointment you have to wait to be seen almost an hour, I don't get it as much confirmation they send out they cannot get it together to be seen on time. My initial visit was nice. they took me a few minutes late for my appointment. The front desk people were meh but not rude, just dismissive. The waiting room was very crowded. They said they would call me if my retainers came in early. They didn't call. I called earlier in the day of my 2nd appointment to confirm they were running on time. After several minutes on hold, they confirmed yes, they were on time. I got to my appointment early and was told they were running 30 minutes late if I wanted to wait. They also tried to blame the "call center" for telling me they were on time with appointments. They are holding my paid for retainer hostage until I can see the doctor. I asked why they didn't call to tell patients they're running late and was told they've tried that. Well, I wish they would have called ME to say they were late. That was wasted time I will never get back. I rescheduled my appointment for the next week for the first appointment of the day. Hope that works. read more

Where do I start I have had horrible experience with the customer service on the phone and in person. The scheduling is the worse I've ever experienced in any business and your appointment time means nothing to them since your wait time is upwards of 30+mins. They make appointments weeks out that are always wrong days and times. I have shown up and been told I didn't have an appointment and other times told I had an appointment but missed it when I didn't. The follow up is minimal to none. Our last visit they were to call me when my daughter's appliance came in to schedule her fitting and it was supposed to be anywhere from 1-2 weeks, no call. I called on week 4 and had to leave a message with a front desk rep no call back after a few hours I called and was told they don't have a office manager but I have spoken to one in the past. Then I Spoke to someone and was told there was no message I even called in the morning. Then I was told we had an appointment for the appliance but that's not true because they didn't know when it would even come in. So the blame was being put on me as the parent as to missing it. I then asked do you follow up and call the patients to come in if a supposedly appointment was missed. She said no it's up to the parents to follow up. I said so you never call to see what happened or to reschedule etc. Her response was she just got a list to call on patients that needed to come in and get the appliances but my daughter wasn't ion that list. She also stated she was out sick for two weeks so she wasn't there working it. Again it all a mess on the scheduling ,communication ,long wait times in the office and poor customer service experience. I would not recommend this place to anyone ever since Dr Hudson left it's gone down hill. It's not worth the time nor money when there are other options out there. read more

*** Another update! My daughter has graduated college and gotten her masters. She's a special needs teacher and she still has those damn braces on her teeth! It's a good thing I moved out of state or I would have made her sue them. She got them on when she was a sophomore in high school and was told they'd be off by the time she was a senior... in high school! So 4 yrs odd college and then getting her Masters Degree and they're still on. She also had to have at least one permanent tooth removed because of their error. I would never take a child there, nor would I recommend going there. They pass you around from Dr to Dr and they don't know what needs to be done or what's been done on your child... causing this kind of fiasco! It's just too bad my girl hates confrontation and her father is the same way and won't speak up or this would have been handled a long time ago! read more

We have been coming here for 8 years and my daughter has had braces twice and wears her retainer nightly. Her teeth are moving again and the dentist said that she should get braces for a third time to straighten her teeth. She is 16 and it seems strange that they can not get her teeth straight by now. Also we always wait a long time in the waiting room to get in to be seen, 30-45 minutes. I'm not sure how efficient other offices are but it seems that this office is quantity over quality read more

Premier Orthodontics has been my top choice for many years. They curate to my specific dental needs as well as my children's. I've always had a great experience with all staff including the lovely receptionist, assistants and doctors. Unfortunately, during todays visit (8/14) I had a negative experience with dental assistant, Rocky. She was extremely unpleasant and unprofessional during my entire appointment. My mouth was sore after my visit because of her inattentiveness with the dental instruments. When I asked her to be gentle her demeanor became very rude. I had an issue with my retainer that required an easy fix, but since a lot of the services offered before are now gone including an in house lab. The current Doctor scolded me for not putting my retainer in correctly. The I was told that the cost of replacement for a bottom retainer was $250. When I went to the front desk to pay it was $285. I was taking a trip to see family and I felt a pokey wire. Premier was nice enough to let me come in with little notice and helped me out! All the staff was really sweet, and they didn't even charge me! The office seemed clean also! If I lived around here I would definitely make this my regular place! Do not go here! Your child will NOT be a priority. It's very difficult to get an appointment & keep an appointment as they will try to reschedule you due to being understaffed. I got braces in order cure many spaces that I had throughout my mouth and I am very satisfied with the work done. My teeth are straight as an arrow now and I have much more self-confidence. The staff, however, are the best part. Everyone, from the receptionists, dental technicians, doctors, and management are so nice. You can tell by the way they interact with patients that they really care about their patients, on both a professional and personal level. Pros, Cons, the Summary My kids go here. PROs--The place is very up-to-date with their technology. They are using 3D imaging, and all sorts of scanning and such that did not exist when I was growing up. The people there are usually helpful, and the dentists and assistants are very nice. The opinions from our dentist was honest and we trusted him (guy left for another practice a few months ago.) everything seems nice, and they give you free coffee/chocolate milk and movies are always on for kids who have to wait. There are tablet video games to so kids in the waiting room don't get too antsy. CONs--Pricey. All that technology costs money, and their treatments (while very good) costs money....a bit more than their competitors. Plus, they have a lot of dental assistants, and front office staff, which means a lot of overhead for them. Wait times can get too long at times. They essentially close at 5pm, which is a bit early for working parents. Would I go back? Yes, probably. I'll finish treatment for my son, but might shop around next time for my daughter for a better deal. read more

If you ever decide to get braces or invisaline you need to come to Premier Orthodontics. The entire team here from the assistants at the desk to Dr. Hudson, who got his dental degree at UCLA, are simply amazing. Getting braces is a few year comittment and the staff there welcomes you to the Premier family. The staff is full of smiles and genuine hellos and how you doings. First, the consultation. You meet the doctor, they explain the finance package and give you a tour of the office. The office is decorated in surfing type photos like the ones you would see at Dukes in Malibu or an old school surf shop in Ventura. They have a section where you can brush your teeth with toothpaste already on the toothbrush. The office has a game station with ipads on the wall so little one can play games. Huge TV on the wall that plays movies like Despicable Me, Snow dogs etc. Coffee station for the parents, magazines that are clean and not ripped up. During the consultation, they take 3D state so the art images of your teeth and explain to you step by step what needs to be done and if you understand what is going to be done. All this happens in a private room with you, the patient, the doctor and the consultant or whomever family member you would like involved in you child's dental care. Also, they talk directly to your son or daughter and ask them questions about why they think they need braces, do they want them and how they feel about getting them. Making that personal connection is a plus! Next, they email you your contract and you don't feel pressured. They always encourage questions to what you don't understand and do their best to accommodate your financial needs. They also work around your schedule for appointments so be truthful if it doesn't work for you they are flexible. Finally, the day comes to to get the work done. I have worn braces for nearly 6.5 years due to having a mouthful of stubborn teeth. Although I'm celebrating that they're finally coming off this month, I'll miss not seeing the staff on a regular basis. ALL of the folks at Premier Orthodontics have been wonderful. They've answered all my questions and treated me with respect, especially when I'm the only client over the age of ten in the room. Kimmy is my current favorite employee. But on my last appointment I had the great pleasure of meeting Jan, she is GREAT she pays attention to detail. I mean things like removing excess adhesive from my teeth and trying to align the wires almost perfectly.
