In addition, Dan Klein, the owner, was to pay LV change of tenancy fees of $80. Dan Klein and McKay with BPM charged me both the $80 and for the last day of Feb. even though the new tenant moved in on that day. This is all illegal. Nothing new for both McKay at BPM and Dan Klein. They are horrible and will charge you for things that are not even legal to charge you for. NEVER RENT FROM BPM!

No one has replied or responded. Meanwhile the trash hasn't been picked up in 9 days, washers and dryers never work, the hardwood flooring in my apartment peeled up, no one came out so I fixed it myself. I've been here a year and a half, and right now they offer free 1st month rent if you move in, but I got offered $100 for compensation in a place I couldn't live at for 3 days. The hold music says what a great place they are to rent room, and such a respectable company... but I haven't been able to get a hold of corporate office once. This kid Ian keeps saying he doesn't know what else to tell me but sorry they don't call back... Ramona at corporate office is a receptionist and says she passes on every note... it's been 3 months.

Unfortunately, my father is very ill, and we needed to move out of the residence as soon as possible to be with him. After 10 years as residents--with repeated requests for carpet updates, virtually no repairs completed, and zero tenant issues--we believed the outcome would be more amicable. Charges, as shown in the attached documentation, appeared to change after the fact, and attempts to obtain itemized breakdowns were met with vague responses or no response at all. This felt highly unprofessional and, frankly, raised serious concerns about the accuracy and legitimacy of their billing practices. At move-out, we were charged $1,200 for "cleaning," which is completely unreasonable. After 10 years, yes, some light bulbs burned out; however, we replaced them. The unit was left in excellent condition and was professionally cleaned. The attached preliminary statement provides no detail or itemized explanation to justify these amounts. Requests for specifics were never received. Overall, this company demonstrates a lack of transparency, poor communication, and disregard for tenant concerns. Between unresolved maintenance problems and unexplained financial charges, dealing with them has been frustrating and stressful. I strongly advise others to proceed with caution and document everything if you choose to rent through them.
