Have stayed here a few times in the past and always found it to be clean, welcoming and quiet, as well as comfortable - this time was no exception.
The staff at this Premier Inn are excellent - I had a fantastic welcome from a lovely lady (Daniela, I think) who could not have been nicer or more helpful. Hats off to her! Everyone I encountered was super-nice and friendly, but she really stood out.
Breakfast is good and plentiful, rooms comfortable and have all amenities you could need (take heed, Travelodge across the road - hairdryers as standard in all rooms!). Choice of pillows is a nice touch and the bath towels are proper bath sheets that actually go round someone bigger than a size 10!
Only drawback was the food in the restaurant for dinner - ate there one night as I was too tired to go out and it was pretty awful. I had a steak and chips which should not be hard to do, but it was tough, old tired steak which was overdone and the chips were not right, either. Edible, but not great. This was the only thing that was a negative point for me.
To balance things out again, I tried to use wifi but the paid access wasn't working - rather than switch it off, Premier Inn let everyone use it for free. That was a nice touch.
I'd definitely stay there again, service and comfort and great value are all ticked on my list.
