The next morning, Eric, the technician, called me and started communication on the issue. Eric is a fantastic communicator and was able to diagnose the issue very quickly and explain in layman's terms the problem. None of the usual upselling, which again, I highly appreciated. He sent a picture via text and called me since I could not be at the property. I have dealt with other HVAC companies with poor communication so I have to emphasize that Bay Air Flow's response time and communication are 10/10, which is a breath of fresh air, pun intended. I can highly recommend Bay Air Flow if you're having HVAC issues. Thank you.

That is what they do: they're family-owned and have been doing this for a long time. I needed my 40-year-old upstairs and downstairs furnaces replaced and met with a total of 5 companies- one who said they were "family owned" was actually owned by a private equity firm, and another did plumbing and furnaces, and their estimate was 45% over everyone else, and they did not send me a detailed quote- just the total price. From the moment I made the first call, I was impressed: professional, organized. The estimator was great- no hard sell, explained everything in detail; their quote was very reasonable. They answered all my questions, showed up on time for the install, did the work efficiently, and everything works great. The permit and inspection went smoothly; they were there throughout the entire process. Super impressed and appreciative; Atlas was easy peasy to deal with. Don't look any further.

What I appreciated most was that he didn't just start replacing parts. He thoroughly diagnosed the system, explained what he was testing, and walked me through the results. He showed me that the capacitor was testing low, the contactor was worn and pitted, and even performed a megger test on the compressor to verify it was still healthy. After the repairs, he confirmed everything was working properly by showing me the compressor amperage had dropped back to normal and that the system had an 18-degree temperature split. Keon was patient with all of my questions and never made me feel rushed. He explained the pros and cons of the recommended repairs, including the hard-start kit, so I could make an informed decision instead of feeling pressured. I really appreciated his transparency and professionalism. By the time he was done, our AC was cooling properly again, and he even worked with us on the final price. If you're looking for an HVAC technician who is knowledgeable, honest, thorough, and takes the time to educate his customers, I highly recommend Keon Garcia. New wiring would be needed but while our a/c was old but in good shape, our heater needed work. Our ducts and wiring in the attic had rodent damage, a lot of work had to be done. (Plus we had another contractor immediately deal with the rodents.) After two days of hard, diligent work, Osvaldo and Anthony completely replaced and updated our heating and air conditioning systems.
