I was in a bind and I was running super low on my battery and wasn't going to make it to the charging station down the road. I pulled in with zero percent and I went in side to ask if I could use there 50amp to charge my car enough to make it to the supercharger and they were all great about it and they said it was OK. I really appreciate them and their core values that they have in their company. Helping an Rv owner out in a time of need. I highly recommend them. Thank you again

It sounds easy at the closing table, but when you actually live it, it does not work out the way it is explained to you. I DO NOT ADVISE BUYING ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY! If you have any repairs after the fact, go ahead and forget about them fixing it VIA Mobile mechanic.. They will only fix an issue if you physically bring the RV in. In my case, my truck is not strong enough to pull the RV anywhere.. I'm SOL with any repairs. My mobile mechanic cant even get Toppers service department to work with him.. They will not help you when you need it and have attitude when you call about an issue.. (Or maybe they just don't like me.. But still, not good customer service from a business stand point) They are also quick to tell you how busy they are in service... Even when you purchase all the additional extras to make sure your covered for issues like this. You will only get the run around and get to chase your tail after the fact.... (3+ months my issue is still not fixed) Now they are refusing to order a part my mechanic needs. I'm soo kicking myself in the butt for wasting money. I have horrible buyers remorse at this point! I should have looked at these reviews prior to shopping at Toppers... All the negative reviews are completely accurate. I have experienced them all the 4 months of owning this camper.

I hired Reese Carter (rvinspections.com / rvinspector.pro) to complete a pre-purchase inspection on…read morea 2015 Tiffin Phaeton on January 24, 2026. I paid $884 for this inspection, despite the website listing $750 for a Class A motorhome inspection. I relied on this inspection to move forward with the purchase. Unfortunately, shortly after taking delivery of the RV, multiple significant issues became apparent that were either missed or not properly documented in the inspection report. Key concerns: The dash AC system was not functioning and required a major repair (evaporator replacement) Both rooftop AC system had a clogged drainage issue that caused water intrusion into the interior The driver-side slide had functional issues present at deliver A rear oil leak was identified immediately after purchase Evidence of prior fiberglass/structural repair was visible but not meaningfully documented in a way that reflected the true condition or impact There were numerous other issue Reese overlooked during his inspection and neglected to highlight on his report. Additionally, I later confirmed with Reese that verifying AC functionality is a standard part of a pre-purchase inspection, yet there was no clear documentation or indication this was properly tested. I reached out to Reese to address these concerns. He initially indicated a willingness to refund the inspection fee, but ultimately stated he was unable to do so due to financial hardship. The conversation then became unprofessional and included statements unrelated to the inspection itself. At the end of the day, I paid for a professional inspection and relied on it in making a significant purchase decision. Based on my experience, several material items were either missed or not properly communicated. My recommendation to others: Ensure all major systems are explicitly tested and documented Ask detailed follow-up questions before relying on any inspection report Consider a second opinion for high-value purchases I hope this helps others make a more informed decision.

After fixing our first problem (air conditioner) we introduced him to our next challenge - Volta lithium ion battery system that is the heart of our RV - it was completely new to him. He thought he had fixed that, but stated later that day after going home, contacting Volta, and devouring the pile of information they sent him, that he was uncomfortable with the way he left us. In talking the following morning, he had an idea, but needed to ask Volta. He called mid day and said he knew what was needed. He came, initiated a dead battery reset, got Volta on the phone to verify what we were seeing. While Volta was on the phone they went through every aspect of the system including how to operate it (bought it used a few months ago and the dealer didn't know). Thank you so much shipmate for getting us back on our feet!
