I can call Kevin at Kirkland and say I need this truck towed to your yard in Pelham. I need the loaded trailer held up while my driver gets another truck under it. Then, tow the damaged unit to the dealership. There is no hesitation, just "alright - we'll get it done. Is the key with it?" Kirkland does this without damaging our equipment. Clever, because the next day they informed me I get charged for 2 calendar days when they had the car for like 12 hours. $375 initially to tow it 1 mile to their shop! Not only that! When I showed up to question them at their office they were super defensive rude and ready for a fight. Also, heres a big one! After talking to the city I caught them charging more than their contract with the city of Pelham allows. They had to adjust the bill because they got caught in the act trying to charge me more. Wow! But they still got almost $700 out of me to tow a truck 1 mile from accident and store it. I didn't call them to tow it, the city police did! It's not fair they get away with this.

While Cahaba tire may be a great spot for tires (cannot comment on that), it struggles for more complicated diagnostics. In this case, brought in the car with a set of lights blinking on the dashboard and reduced braking capacity. A simple google search or a question to AI would have immediately pinpointed even a novice to the fact that this was an issue with the brake booster, simply based on the codes. Yet, the crew here immediately jumped to diagnosis of a faulty battery with great confidence. After inquiring if it could be the brake booster (as I already searched the codes myself), they assured that it's not. Well, "mechanics know best", so I thought. Who am I to argue with them. Thus, paid for the battery, got it replaced and sure enough, all the lights came back on after half an hour of driving. Bringing the car back to them, they acknowledged the misdiagnosis, yet said they cannot fix the issue with the brake booster and it needs to be taken to a specialized shop. However, they did not offer to comp any part of the initial repair cost to replace a battery that wasn't the problem at hand, which would have been a reasonable thing to do from a customer service standpoint. In other words, owning up to their own mistakes and that they wasted a whole day for the customer. Sadly, that did not happen. While everyone was very kind and appeared genuine, the result as a customer is a wasted day without result at a mechanic shop due to overconfidence of the team here and a cost of a battery that potentially did not need to be incurred that day (which there is no way to know for certain now).

It is a basic task requiring no longer than five minutes. I paid the extreme amount anyway and left. A mile from the shop, the hubcap flew off and passed the car. After retrieving it from the ditch, it was plain to see that someone had busted it. Additionally, the rear hubcap is also broken. After being sufficiently fleeced by the labor cost, an additional cost of thirty-five dollars was necessary to replace the hubcaps they destroyed. I will never patronize them again, and I cannot recommend their services.

After having the car 93 days, and telling me I needed a Flywheel and timing belt. To the cost of 3,700.00. The check enginelight came on as soon as we left. The car only had 70,000 miles on it..........That i let fo. But recently. I had been in an accident and our body shop, sent our suv to Technique for the mechanical-stuff that needed to be done. Again they keep our Lexus for 63 days. And when we were advised by the body shop to go pick it up the owner Kelly would not give us our car. And claimed he had never done work for us. And on top of that he was claiming the car needed an a/c compressor. To the tune of 2,800. I told him i would take the car to Lexus. Guess what, Lexus fixed it for free because all it was, was a blown fuse. Ao not only was he trying to get us to purchase something we didn't need. We also got stuck with 2,900.00 in rental bills because he had the car so long. You would think that was enough but there's more. After finally getting our car back. Im driving down the interstate and all of the sudden i hear a loud pop and it felt like the entire front end was going to come out from under my car. I got off the interstate driving 25 mph, and the tire. The entire tire came of my car and rolled across 4 lanes off traffic. Thank God no one got hit. That shop had put new tires on that side of the car. So now we are having to sue. My car was literally on the ground. Not one time has the owner reached out to us. All i can say is RUN!!!!
