They put a face plate (which I went to Lowell to pick up because he didn't have one) on the mixing valve and replaced the shower head and faucet since it was in the kit with the mixing valve. Many of these old original moen valves were required to be replaced in this condo complex due to hot/cold water issues affecting nearby units. I couldn't believe the price he charged me....$1247.00! He pulled a permit for the work and, according to the plumbing inspector, no one else in the complex did. Jim also charged me for his time getting the permit. I have spoken with 2 other plumbers since he did this job and BOTH thought the price was outrageous. Both of them estimated pricing should have been $700-$800 MAX. I got a reference from my local COA that he was very good and very reasonable. NOT SO. No complaints about the work but I would never call him again. I feel that I was taken to the cleaners, big Time! I will call one of the other two plumbers we have previously used at our home for future needs. I am not a happy camper AT ALL!
