Great service needed my brakes done they got me in and out with a great price I recommend this place 100%

These people are wonderful and honest. I took my car in, the service transmission light was on. After I took it to the dealer, they wanted to charge me 199.00 to put it on a diagnostic. I went to Precision Tune, they didn't charge me anything to put it on the diagnostic and after they drove it around, they told me that there was nothing wrong with my car. The service light was fixed and my car is driving great! The best part of this, is that they didn't charge me anything! Btw, my husband had his car worked on in July. Great place! read more

SCAM - New owners - installing used parts! Precision Tune charged me $2,237.18 to install NEW parts on my truck. The issue with my truck remained, so I took my truck to the Ford dealership a few days later. Ford replaced completely different parts, which fixed the issue. Ford then told me that the parts the previous shop installed were USED parts (photo of the used part attached). After disputing the charge with my credit card company, Precision Tune Auto provided receipts for the parts they installed on my truck. Sure enough, they were purchased from a salvage yard. Precision Tune charged me $1,450 for the part, which was supposed to be new, and bought it for $120 from a used-parts salvage yard. I tried to resolve the issue with the shop and asked to speak to the owner, but I never received a call back. The shop admitted that the parts were used, and said they 'forgot' to tell me, even though the invoice and quote specifically say all parts will be new. My credit card ultimately declined the dispute because they wanted me to disassemble my truck and "return the parts" so i took a $2,237.18 loss. I used to bring all my vehicles here and trusted them completely, but the shop has new owners, and it is a completely different shop now. They are dishonest and scamming. Always have been upfront and loyal to me. Appreciate the honesty on my cars in the past and currently.

These guys are so helpful, and experienced. This is by far one of the most trustworthy and honest shops I have been to in a while. Thank you for taking care of my repairs in a timely manner, and the refreshments were appreciated! read more

Worst experience I've ever had with an auto shop. I know people say shops are scams, but this place is 100% a scam. The manager was trying to over charge me and had my car for almost a month giving me the run around. When I finally got to pick up my car they stated the manager was fired due to stealing funds. Do not bring your business here! read more

My experience with this place was horrible i had my vehicle serviced a few times different services i was very displeased when i paid $500 for four new tires and when i picked my vehicle up my old tires were stuffed into my car and trunk ruining my leather seat ... now that i now need breaks my new tires wont even come off because two of the lug nuts are stripped and can't be removed.. I would never spend another dollar with this company i'm very disappointed with problems they have caused me. read more

Needed an inspection I didn't really need but it was a need the paperwork kind of thing. Get inspections done here for rideshare

I took my car here to have the A/C and a shifter issue fixed. I was assured the problems would be fixed ... for $3,000.00. after keeping my car for TWO WEEKS, the only things I received for my money are 1) car was broken into (thief actually SLEPT in my car for 3 hours) and items stolen, because my car was left outside of the garage and unlocke; 2) neither of the original problems were fixed, but several NEW PROBLEMS arose due to whatever they were doing; 3) I was STRANDED at a shopping center because my car WOULD NOT START (due to problem that was paid for as being 'fixed'; 4) towed to a different shop where I was informed that NONE of the parts listed on the invoice as replaced actually were NOT. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. This shop is not under the same ownership as, say, a year or so ago. Counter person was very nice and persuasiv; too bad the mechanics are extremely inept. read more

My car was stalling. I emailed Precision after hours about coming in the next day. I received a reply very quickly saying I could come in. I brought in my car a little before 10:00. They did a diagnostic quickly and called me to let me know the problem. The price was very reasonable and it was ready before the close of business that day. I am very pleased with the service I received. read more

My experience here was fine. They did a great job and I got in and out fairly quickly. I had a couple of issues though. I tried 3 different times to schedule an appointment online but I never heard back from anyone. The day I went to cash in my Groupon for my oil change the guy asked if I made an appointment I explain I had tried but I never heard back from anyone. Soooo frustrating! read more

Great experience with the people at Precisions Tune. Walked in needing new rear brakes and Cal at the front desk said I would have to drop off the next day because they were completely full. That was no problem for me. Five minutes later he said a car was just finished and they could get to my car that day! Gave me reasonable quote saying it depended on what parts are available. My car was ready for pickup the next morning. Very satisfied with the service provided. read more

There is a new guy up front. The lady that used to be there was great. Awesome customer service. New guy is perpetually angry and doesn't even bother hiding his brash rudeness. Left me feeling like he did some work I likely did not need. read more

I have not had work done here lately. But in the past, Marc and his team has replaced 1 engine on a 2013 f150, 2 separate truck transmissions on two similar 2006 f150 4x4s, breaks, alignments, electrical issues, brakes, ball joints, rockers, etc etc on my work trucks. Plus replacing body parts on a f150 when someone t-boned one of my employees back in 2016-2017, and he had to deal with all state insurance guy coming out and being a stickler and it all worked out. He even personally drove me home one day rather than taking an Uber. Great service and great person. Thanks to Marc and his team. read more

I got a Groupon and called ahead to make sure if I got in early on a Saturday and was the first person there, I would get service. The incredibly rude and belligerent person working Saturday morning 11/6 @ 8 AM made snide comments about "are you the first car here today?" as he annoyingly pointed to cars in his shop. I hope you guys go out of business with attitudes like this. read more

You guys-ladies get RIPPED OFF yet?? There is a manager that works there, he just seems very very off and looks like he had just received a MUG Shot! He doesn't care about customer service!! Neve have I been robbed by a place of business before today. Precision Tune in Royal Oak just charged me to not find and fix what was wrong with my vehicle. I know there's not much accountability with businesses and their employees anymore, however this is a warning to the public. Professional robbery at its finest. read more

This place is way over priced. I went in for an oil change because I bought a Groupon for free oil change. They tried to charge me an additional $120 for synthetic oil and a "special" filter I needed. I knew I would have to pay a little extra, but that is more than I have ever paid for an oil change anywhere, with or without a coupon. What a scam! read more

I was a long time customer at precision until today. My vehicle was towed there and needed an alternator. After taking their sweet time to call me with a price quote, the new alternator price was almost $100 higher than the same one at Belle Tire. Precision would not budge on their price therefore,I had my car towed to Bell tire. Good management would have Compromised on a price to keep me as a patron but now they have lost my business. Their prices are not competitive in the market. read more

I have taken my car there at least 5 times for different issues each time and John has taken awesome care of me every time. He's very personable and professional. Charlotte at the front desk always has a awesome attitude and willing to help anyway she can. I love this place!!! read more

1. Apparently under-staffed.. ALWAYS have to make an appointment for a day or two later for a simple OIL CHANGE. 2. PRICES appear to be inflated. They wanted to charge for simple inspection, even a visual inspection on my front end suspension. Ridiculous.. I went somewhere else who gave free inspections and I will never go back to Precision Tune even though I live across the street. read more

Came in for an oil change. I normally go to Chevy but ran out of time. This place was opened so I decided to go here instead of SEARS. Over the phone they told me the price was 19, 32 or 50. When I got here it was 50, which is 20 more than the car dealer which makes no sense. I was seen within 10 minutes. I wouldn't suggest coming here unless you run out of options. read more

Horrible Place! I brought my car here because my A/C is not working. John check my car A/C for less than 10mins. He said I need to replace blower motor resistor it would cost me $350 for them to do it. I told him I'll come back in few days because I don't have $350 to pay them right away. He said its fine, but you have to pay us $98.35 for the 5-10mins check up. He told me he will not give me my car back if I don't pay them right away. So I ended up paying them $98.35 for 5-10mins check up on my car A/C which in the first place I told them the A/C is not working. This place doesn't care about your car or they customers. They just wanna take your money. Stay away from this place! read more

Honest Service. Brought my car here for a groupon and they wouldn't do the work since the part i bought didnt come with the washers neccesarry to hold the alignment.'went home and came back the next day and they fully honored the now expired Groupon. These guys do a solid job are honest and the price is fair and i can tell due to their insistence on the parts being right before starting the job that they take pride in their work. Will recommend. read more

I had to have my car towed because the brakes failed on Memorial Day, so I didn't have a choice of where it was taken since nothing was open. I called him the next morning to explain the situation, and after looking at the car later in the day, he said it needed all new drums, callipers, etc. on both sides in the back. I need the car for work, so I told him to go ahead. The car was ready just at closing time, so I took a cab there, paid, and pulled out of the parking lot, which was after closing by then. I noticed that I pretty much had to stand on the brake pedal to get it to stop. I got it home, a few miles away, driving very carefully. As soon as I got home I tried calling, but it went to voicemail, so there was nothing I could do. After consulting a few people, it turns out that he didn't bleed the brake line. I don't know how he didn't notice the problem when he pulled the car out of the garage after "fixing" it. He had to have noticed it, the pedal was so soft! I wondered why the seat was pulled up so far forward when I got in. He's taller than I am, but after adjusting the seat to the way I normally have it, I realized the only way I could drive it was to pull the seat forward to make pushing on the brake pedal a little easier. He allowed me to drive the car away from his shop with the car in a very dangerous condition. I consider it malpractice. read more

I live in Royal Oak, and try to support local businesses. I drove by and saw they did front end alignments and made an appointment for the next morning. I arrived on time and at 9 in the morning they were already running late. AT 9 IN THE MORNING. The I get the pre-upsell, that is ANYTHING is wrong with my suspension, tie rods, upper or lower ball joints, that they wouldn't be able to do the alignment but they would still have to charge me. I made an appointment and they couldn't even make it to 9AM without getting behind, but now I am going to trust them with my car after they have primed me for the upsell into hundreds of dollars of work that I can only believe would surface after the non refundable alignment check. Why can't businesses just do honest work? Everyone I know asks me where to take a car to get things fixed properly. With the bullshit I just experienced, I would never recommend this place to anyone I liked. Do business with at your own risk and be prepared for the upsell. read more

The a/c in my Chevy Tracker stopped working, so I took the car here for service. They were up front about the price for testing, which I appreciated. A serviceman called me at home a few hours later to let me know what the problem was (needed a recharge). The price was quite reasonable, the problem was fixed quickly, and the man who telephoned me was very courteous. I will definitely bring my car there for service again. The only complaint I have is minor: it took three days to schedule an appointment. read more

Used a Groupon for an oil change today and had a great experience. I had a flat tire and had to go to the nearest shop possible. I went to this place since its the closest from where i was. They were real nice when i got in and when they checked my tire ,the guy said they are not able to fix it and that i needed a brand new tire. *PS i just got new tires last October and im pretty sure there's enough tread there for them to patch it. He even told me i was driving it for too long when i was literally not even a mile away driving 10mph on main st. on a snowy day. But anyways, i told them to put my spare tire and give me my flat tire. So I went to Belle tire after, see if they can patch it. After 20 mins it was done. They patched my tire and put the spare one back to where its supposed to be. I am so glad i did not let that guy ripped me off. Belle tire did it for 20 mins when this place had to do everything in 1hr and 23 mins to be exact. This is just a warning to everyone especially for those who don't know much about car stuff like me.... I'll give them 1 for putting my spare tire for $22.65. read more

I started going here because of a Groupon I purchased for a year of oil changes. I do have to pay an extra $7 each service for synthetic oil, but that's normal for Hondas at any oil change shop. The manager, Carl, is very helpful and trustworthy. I used a coupon for a free brake inspection and he called me 30 minutes later to tell me everything was in good shape and I didn't need to replace any pads, etc. That never happens! They are quite busy so I recommend making an appointment, even for just an oil change. read more

AVOID THIS PLACE! When we told the manager that we wanted to get a second opinion on the quote he got very nasty on the phone and seemed very offended we wanted to make sure that the fix he recommended was the right one. When I came into get my car, he again was nasty and another customer sitting there told me he was nasty to her too, and told me outside how rude he was. As they have these cards soliciting online reviews, I said I would leave one and he said he'd "get me for slander". ( apparently does not know the difference between libel and slander, lol). Also informed me he recorded the conversation on the phone ( without anyone's consent or knowledge I may add, so might be a legal issue there) I have never seen anyone more hostile or unprofessional at any workplace, ever. And the other workers I spoke to one the phone were nice but this guy was a complete hostile mess. I ended up at another place where I got better tires, and it was all $200 less. I would never recommend a friend or family come here. read more

Went there for a wheel alignment that I pre purchased through Groupon and received excellent service. Was in and out in around an hour. Very polite, very clean, great service. Amazing customer service! They helped me when my tire pressure was low and the air machines at the surrounding gas stations were out of service. Turns out I drove over a screw and they caught it! I wish I could give negative stars + a red flag warning. Brought my vehicle in to get recommended alignment after I got brand new tires and suspension installed. The terrible alignment job performed caused premature wear on my new tires. I had to purchase new tires and get another alignment job at a different shop. The tire manufacturer would not cover replacement tires under warranty because the wear was on the inside tire wall which is due to a improper alignment. I contacted Precision Tune Auto Care management and they would not take responsibility despite all the proof I provided for new alignment work and receipts of new tire purchase to fix what they damaged. Safe yourself the headache and go elsewhere for auto care service. Its not worth the headache and extra costs you will need to pay to repair what they damage in the future. I wish I paid a little more and took my vehicle to a better auto care shop that would of did the alignment job correctly the first time around. This terrible experience cost me money. read more

Needed help right away with a steering issue. Had multiple conversations with manager about options, cost, and turn-around. Manager had to make multiple calls about parts and consulted with experts on the given issue I had. Long story short... communication was great. Services were delivered exactly as quoted and at the exact price quoted. Great experience!! (Seem to recall being told that location is under new management, so negative reviews were probably from before the management change). Highly recommend! read more

Arrogant and rude staff. Staff was argumentative and disrespectful. Left angry and would not return to this business. No customer service.
