I see may people have had bad experiences here but my wife and I had a positive one. We brought our car in because it started acting funny when my wife drove it. After the diagnostic, they said the engine was shot and that with the cost of repairs we should just consider a new to us car. We got an oil change so we could drive it home to sell for parts. They did not charge us for the diagnostic even though we didn't get anything repaired. Many places will charge you for the diagnostic if you don't fix what is wrong. These guys do good work. Never rushing through repairs. I would recommend them to anyone for most general diagnostics and repairs.

Was told the price for an oil change was going to be $20. I expected a few dollars above that for oil disposal and tax but they charged me an extra $10! I could have had it cheaper at NTB. Plus the room was incredibly smoky. Would not come here again. read more

It has been years since I left that glowing review. Since then managers have changed numerous times and they tried to rip me off by leaving the cap off after recharging Freon. Then quoted me 1800$ for new compressor and condenser. I went to another shop and had more Freon added and I have not had another problem. Never again, Precision Tune. read more

I took my taurus here to get the oil changed. When I arrived back at the shop to pick my car up they had it off of a stand to the side with the hood popped messing around under my hood. I asked what they were doing and they handed me a paper saying my car had all these issues. I only paid for an oil change I didn't tell them to go tinkering under my hood. That really pissed me off. No one puts their hands under the hood of my car except me and my uncle who is a mechanic. when I left my car started blowing the pcm "keep engine alive" fuse and my car won't stay cranked. My uncle is an incredible mechanic and we have always kept the car in great running condition. 0 issues!!! And I get my oil changed from precision auto and my car all of a sudden has a whole list of problems. Yeah right!!! I know what they did to my car I just can't prove it. I'm just going to go back to changing my own oil from now on because these people cannot be trusted. read more

Store is a joke, no true mechanics, failed my safety inspection due to possible tampering with catalytic converter because of crush seal a little exposed. Haha it has to seal! Called headquarters in Cary, man told me he has done inspections in the past, and since it's odb1 it would ok..even though the same set up passed odb2 in previous years. What a bunch of rip offs. Btw now I have to go get it inspected through local dmv..when they pass it and tell me to return to precision auto for inspection, imma need that refund..You get No Mula from Muah. read more

Pricey, and not a good place to go for important things as the people are uneducated and really just sales people. But for a quick oil change it's alright. I have always trusted this place over the other local car places as the person behind the counter is always nice, but at the price of trying to always hustle you for more and more money (but that is what they are trained for). read more

Thank you for your response. I spoke with customer service several weeks ago. The gentleman was very nice and arranged for my issue to be rectified at another location. The issue seemed to be fixed (TPMS light went off) until I made it home (10 minute drive). I will take my care to the Honda dealership from this point on. To fix the issue of being charged for the tire plugs, I was told a gift certificate for an oil change would be sent; it never arrived. Dishonesty at all levels of the organization. read more

By far the worst customer service and lack of professionalism I've ever witness at precision tune. If you have a vehicle be sure to avoid precision tune on South Main st. in High point. Store Manager and the guy at the counter were very discourteous, insolent and boorish. read more

Started coming again to try and get my oil changed and tires rotated about two weeks ago and every time it's too long of waiting for me until the other day Which is fine, but every time I come in The heavy set man up front was very pushy and rude. Not sure why they got rid of the last manager that was there last time I went about six months to a year ago, but his replacement is just a very rude anti custumer service and if you look through the garage doors when he's outside in the garage part he's always playing on his phone or smoking outside not paying attention to the people when we wait for five to ten minutes. Until one of the mechanics who should be focusing on the car he's working on notices us there and he comes in and gets there paperwork done looking dirty with oil and stuff and feel like he'd get my stuff dirty had I stayed and gave them my keys and let them get into my car. I give him credit for helping while he's busy but he should definitely not come in there when dealing with another person's car or come in being as dirty as he is even cleaning up that stuff stains the paperwork and the counter and everything around it. Much nicer than the one in the dress shirt and got along with the other customers really well but seemed like he was just rushing. He might have been paying attention to the questions of the customers but seemed like he was in a rush and might not have been genuine. I could be wrong, but I used to come here alot more with Chris money running it and things were alot smoother. I wouldn't say stay away from here, but just be aware the so called manager is very unprofessional and I think they might lie about how long you have to wait just to avoid being backed up. If you have allot of time the actual service is good, but not so sure about customer service except the Hispanic looking man and the younger one who came inside to help that seemed like he was rushing are both very nice. But I'll go down to Thomas tire or Walmart next time just to avoid the heavy set rude man who acts like he's better than any one. I would like to know where they moved Chris money and as long as it's not too far I wouldn't mind staying with precision tune. read more

DO NOT USE Precision Tune Auto Care for any reason!!! My daughter and son in law saw their car that was suppose to be getting a front end alignment pull into a gas station so they pulled in also. The mechanic that was to be working on the car went inside, got a beer and they have a video of him sitting in the car drinking a beer. My daughter approached him and ask him what was he drinking, he hesitated and ask if it was her car. When she said yes he said he was sorry and was heading back to the shop, lol like she was going to allow him to drive her car while drinking. She ask him to step out of the car and he tried to bribe her by saying he would pay for the alignment. When she called the number to corporate office the manager gave her is was a non-working number. read more

We have had issues in the past, but since it was so long ago we decided to try them again. They are close to our house. Big mistake! My father-in-law took our car up there for an oil change and change the air filter. He said he was in and out...that they weren't busy. After the car was home with in few days my husbands says that there is an exhaust type smell in the car when he's driving. He opens the hood to see if there is anything out of place since the last folks to touch the car was Precision and the cap for the oil is just sitting there!!! Oil ALL OVER the engine! He checks the oil level and there is almost nothing left! This could have destroyed our car! What if my child was in the car...ARE YOU KIDDING ME! I am not a mechanic and even I know to put the cap back on after you add oil. My father-in-law said they weren't busy. SO WHAT IN THE WORLD ARE YOU DOING!! My husband called and they said they will make it right by cleaning up the engine and adding more oil. I am livid. That small mistake could possibly cost us thousands of dollars. read more
