The main reason we selected Schoen is because Aaron listened and understood our budget and vision, provided us with detailed costs estimates with various options before the build, and brought ideas to the project. As we made changes during the construction process, Aaron would always present us with detailed costs to help us weigh our options. My wife and I are extremely happy with the final product. After going through this building process again (3rd time for us over 13 years - 1st with a different builder, 2nd built on my own, 3rd with Aaron), I wouldn't hesitate to build with Aaron again because he is knowledgeable, trustworthy and I felt like he spent our money like he would spend his own. We agreed on a start date and a date the work would be completed. Chris scheduled for 5 days. The job was finished in four days and finished the drywall, matched the popcorn ceiling to where you cannot tell there was ever a leak in 3 different areas of the roof. Included was the repainting of the areas fixed. Ultimate Coverings was very affordable and I'm glad he called me back about the job. Carmine came out to write up the estimate and he was really straight forward and down to earth. He said it may take a few days to get us the estimate because we needed so many things done, but we received the estimate the very next day. I think we paid a third down when we scheduled the work to be done, and we only had to wait two weeks until they could come do the work. They were here for three and a half days. They did everything we asked and more! We've had a branch stuck up on top of the garage for years and when they got on a ladder to take it down, they saw it had actually pierced through the roof and when they removed it there was a hole on the top of the garage. They patched it up completely for free! I told the crew leader Jimmy that we would pay for it and we were glad they fixed it and he said it wasn't in the initial quote so not to worry about it. Overall, for the amount of things they did, I think it was done for the best price in town, and it's quality work. We had another local handy service give us a quote for the same exact work to be done and it was seriously 3,000 dollars more than Handy Hubby. We definitely made the right choice going with them. But we also loved all four of the people we met from this service. The guys were so nice, respectful, but also very down to earth, where we were able to joke around with them a little (I mean hey, they were in my house for three days). Customer service (either by phone or email) was prompt in their replies and just really friendly and competent. It's really just refreshing that a company like this exists and I'm happy to have had them help us out. I like genuine people.

It's been two years since Counts Remodel and Design did the vinyl siding on my home. My first…read morereview of CRD wasn't kind to them, and neither will this one. Last winter, I came out of my home to discover a large section of siding was blown off the side of my house. In the middle of a snowstorm, I had to get up on a ladder and push it back into place. That's when I noticed gaps in several sections of my siding where one section did not butt up to the next. I can't find a single section of the siding that is properly overlapped, as it should be to compensate for expansion and contraction during different weather situations. Two weeks ago, I was sitting in my living room when I heard what I thought was a bird flying into my front window. I didn't think anything of it until the following day when I pulled into my driveway and noticed the top piece of siding had literally fallen off my home, and was now laying in my bushes. Up on a ladder again! After replacing it, the same panel fell off again two days ago. I suspect this will be an ongoing issue for as long as I own this home. Over the course of the past two years, I've noticed so many shortcuts, so many horrible edges, so many flaws in my siding. I would never, ever recommend this company to come within a mile of your home!
