This woman did wonders on my hair and although this was my first appointment with her - sounds like she really takes care of her regulars (of which I will now be!) She's very knowledgeable, upfront, and very talented! Plus the prices are really reasonable! She listened to exactly what I wanted and I'm very happy with the look I walked away with. She has some super fun specials coming up including a Brazilian blowout deal that I'm looking forward to trying. Also does extensions - something I've been wanting to try. She does it all! I stumbled across this shop after allowing YouTube to convince me that I needed my hair straightened . I was able to book an appointment and be seen less than an hour later...mine blowing especially since it was a Saturday. Finding parking was a breeze, and finding the shop was pretty easy as well. I was greeted warmly and did not have to wait long at all to get started. Awesome! So my hair was a beautiful, natural mess. I hadn't had my hair straightened since having big chopped and bleaching my hair. I felt bad for Miss Brenda, actually, but she tackled it like a champ. I got a wash, deep condition, trim, silk press, and a line-up. I waited two weeks to provide this review, and though I've washed my hair and it is no longer straight, it is softer than it's been in a while. I can't keep my hands out of it . Long story short, I'm so glad I found this shop. Miss Brenda is friendly, attentive to the desires of the client, informative, and professional. Because of COVID, I have not had my hair done in 16 months so I was a little anxious to get it done. We had a consultation and Brenda was beyond thorough and helpful. Let me start off by saying that I am natural. I had just taken out my box braids when I made my visit with Brenda. So it's safe to say that my hair needed some major loving. Went to go get my hair colored and it turned out a million times better than I thought! Brenda was super nice and gave me ideas on what colors I could do. She also made my side cut neater and it looks better than it did when I got it cut at my usual place. I was super comfortable talking to her and she sounded extremely experienced and her worked showed for it. Even though I ended up not getting the color I originally envisioned, the color I ended up with is even more beautiful. I have green in my hair! Never in my dreams did I think I would ever do a green color, but Brenda made it work so well. I wanted to wait until more than one visit to give an honest review. And I can honestly say I love this place. Brenda is a very nice easy going person so it makes for a comfortable atmosphere and it doesn't hurt that she's damn good at what she does. For the longest I have been wanting a relaxer but a bit afraid because of the stigma behind it all and to those people I say you're doing something wrong. My hair is growing BEAUTIFULLY before my eyes and it looks and feels so healthy and I'm sure it will continue to grow to my desired length.
