The guys (Vic,Harry,Will) that came out to remove the old liner and prep it was AWESOME! Brendt who installed the new liner (with the guys) made it look brand new!!! Brent and the boys have serviced my pool for 26 years. They do an amazing job- opening, closing and installing liners. They don't over recommend chemicals like Leslie's. I'd highly recommend them. Thanks for the service! read more

Scott, the gentleman I conducted phone service with was very friendly and professional. I set up a pool opening with him. The crew that came to my house did a very fast job, and everyone was very friendly except for Brendt, the crew leader. He is very blase' and off-putting. He comes barging into my back yard without a knock to the front door stating his arrival. I was taking a nap in the back room w/ my dog and saw everyone in my back yard starting on my pool through my door wall, and everyone could see me! My pool wasn't full yet, so they couldn't turn on the pump/filter, but Brendt said they did test it and nothing is leaking and it's running fine. I specifically asked him if the pump was primed, and he said yes. Well, after the pool was full, I turned it on, and the pump was not primed, and the filter was leaking from anywhere it could leak from! I called that night and left a message and Scott called me back promptly the next morning. He walked me thru priming my pump, apologized for Brendt's behavior and said that Brendt would be calling me on Monday. Brendt never called, and I never thought he would. This was strike 2 for Precision. Strike 1 happened 2 years ago when I paid them a substantial amount of $ for a pool liner and installation. Of course it was Brendt and his crew who installed it. After my pool was full and warm enough to get in, I noticed there were bumps in my lining. I called Brendt about it, and he said "Dump out your water and I'll come fix the liner - for free". 1. Of course you'll fix it for free, you didn't do it right in the first place! 2. I spent $90 on chemicals getting my pool balanced, are you going to replace those? Brendt - "No". We there it is, Brendt has no concern for customer satisfaction or referral. Pass this place up for pool service, but if you need phone help, give Scott a call. read more

Nothing but great things to say about Precision Pool Service. My husband and I are new pool owners (bought a house with a pool in the fall) - we called Precision to come open it for us. Brent showed up with about 8 guys that quickly and professionally opened our pool. We were so impressed - it was like an army descended upon our backyard and they checked that everything was working, power washed our cover and the concrete surrounding our pool, added chlorine, etc. They were outstanding!! We will never open or close our pool ourselves - these guys were worth every penny. They had the pool open and functioning in a little over an hour. Since we are new pool owners, Brent stayed an extra 45 minutes with us to walk us thru how to operate the pool and answered all of our questions. It was greatly appreciated! I had this company replace a vinyl pool liner. My husband and I both felt this company was very professional. Brent was very patient with me, answered all my questions, did what ever he could to help us. If I was to have another liner replaced would not hesitate to call this company. This is the second liner I have had replace, Precision Pools Service was far better then the first company I used. read more

My pool filter was set up incorrectly. When I got the problem diagnosed by another company I called Precision for help, the retail receptionist screamed at me and told me that I was a f#%*ing idiot and a f#%*ing see I next Tuesday (I'll let u figure that out). I made three attempts to reach the owner of the company and have not heard back from him yet. It's a shame that the angry man that answers the phone at the retail store is so terrible because the guys that came out to the house were nice and polite. Unfortunately, since the company is being filtered by the office guy I won't be using this company again. I do recommend Blue Diamond Pools and Pool Town in Fraser, both of these companies looked at pictures of my filtration system and told me my system was set up improperly. this place is such a rip off! do not ever go here!! the man is so disrespectful, rude and obnoxious. they charged $500 to open my pool and it looked exactly the same as when they left. i called him...and he actually told me off!!! he was like i got your money and now you should go to leslie's and buy the chemicals and algae killer and you can open the pool yourself and your water will be clear. we put a case of chlorine in everybody's pool. it is not our job to get your pool clear. this is a rip off! do not go here and just give your money away!!!! please!!! read more

After reading some of these reviews on here, I'm not sure any of you actually used precision pools in Troy. I would give them 10 stars on here if I could. This company, hands down, is the absolute best pool company I have found, and believe me when I say I've been through a few of them...They are courteous, prompt and ALWAYS come out exactly when the say they will, fast, knowledgeable. and beyond professional. I had a situation earlier this summer when I thought my pump wasn't functioning properly. I called precision pool and they sent their guy out the next day. Turns out the pump and filter were working just fine and it was ME that was doing something incorrectly. He (sorry I don't remember his name) was so kind, patient, and professional with me while he taught me the proper way to use all of my pool equipment. He went above and beyond your typical service call. He will never know how much I appreciated that since my husband, who used to take care of the pool, recently and suddenly passed away. I knew I had a lot to learn about maintaining our pool and this man taught me everything I needed to know without judgement. This is the type of service you get from Precision Pools. To be honest I would not have a pool if it wasn't for this company. They literally take the work out of owning a pool. I encourage everyone out there to give this company a try for all your pool needs. I assure you that you will never find another company with such high customer service standards.
