Shawn from Spa Service has been to my place twice to service my old Catalina spa. The second time was because, based on his first performance, I insisted that he return if at all possible for the next call. If you watch the man work, its immediately clear that he knows what he is doing. And even though that knowledge and skill is how he makes his living, he was very good about answering questions I had; and even providing tips that would ensure that I would need his services less! I found his honesty and helpfulness refreshing, and after three years since his last visit, I'm hoping I can reach him again to fix a difficult-to-service leak. PS- I wrote this review for two reasons: 1.) because I was that satisfied by Spa Service's performance, and 2.) because the poor review from the Veterinarian below, in particular, annoyed me. It never ceases to amaze me how people can make emergencies of their own 'needs', but not feel a sense of urgency to pay the person that fixes the problem. I am new to hot tubs and needed mine serviced. Darren came to the house, after rearranging his schedule to do so, and got us started as hot tub owners. He showed me where to find the circuit breaker that had tripped, he showed me how to use the hot tub, he showed me how to read the chemical testing strips, he showed me how to add the chemicals. He gave me info in case the tub needs repairs. I am very grateful that he was so good. I hope to be a longtime customer. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They had to come out twice because the first repairman "thought" he found the leak. During the 2nd visit they destroyed the gate on our privacy fence and are denying any responsibility!! We have 2 dogs and their repairman literally ripped our gate open, making it impossible to secure now. He left without mentioning it Maybe if they knew what they were doing the first time our gate would still be intact. read more

I would like to compliment this company i went on line looking for a spa repair place i called a lot of different compaines but never was able to talk to a physical person nor did i get any return call from I found that this company was great and helpful with support from the office personal and the tech shawn and randy they first tried helping me over the phone (even though it was a sunday afternoon) unfortunately i could not get my tub to come on and was extremely cold out side. I did make an appointment with them they came out as quick as they could they fixrd my spa and gave me a tutorial on how to mauntain my spa. I had a leak in my 16 year old Emerald spa that was very difficult to locate. I contacted Spa Service Inc. and spoke with Shawn by phone. I explained what I had found. He spent over 20 minutes guiding me through the steps after he requested pictures of what was found. I was able to repair the two leaks under his guidance. Without Shawn's experience and professionalism, I would have disposed of the spa and bought a new one. He literally saved me thousands of dollars. We had a power surge to out spa, and called spa services, and had a return call with in minutes, the lady was nice and professional. The technician Saun calledto in form me of the the timehe would arrive, and he was on time, and very professional. There was a glitch a day later so Sauntook it on himself to co.e back and fix it. I had Shawn come out to help repair an issue with our underwater treadmill. This is the second time we have used this service and have had Shawn come out to the facility. Shawn is very knowledgeable and competent in helping sort out our problems but we will not be using this service again. When we called Spa Service yesterday, we received a return call a few hours later and Shawn was able to come out in the morning. The owner of the veterinary surgical practice was in surgery when Shawn finished and when I explained to Shawn that he could not come out of surgery to pay him, Shawn became very belligerent. He raised his voice, began trembling and accused me of thinking myself better than him. I remained civil the whole time and assured him that he would be paid as soon as the surgeon was available but this was unsatisfactory. Shawn said that he wouldn't have come out today if he knew he was not going to be paid while he was there. He also said that he never trusts doctors or lawyers to pay him. A woman from the office called today and demanded payment. My assistant said that she was not very nice and wouldn't let her talk. She said that the woman just talked over her. I do not know how I could have handled this any differently but I do not need people like this in my life. A check has been sent out in the mail today. read more
