Drove 2.5 hours from Savannah for two MRI appointments that were booked at a location that does not have the equipment I specifically required. Repeated misinformation from call center scheduling staff, confirmed appointments ignored, with no resolution except another booking on a different date for another 2.5 hour drive each way. The imaging technician at this location was professional and courteous -- this review is about everything else. After a 30-minute call full of contradictory information from call center employees, I was booked for two upright MRI appointments at the Gate Parkway location and drove 2.5 hours from Savannah, GA to attend them. On arrival, I learned the Gate Parkway location does not have an upright MRI -- the specific equipment I had explicitly requested and been confirmed for. The resolution was to rebook me for a later date, meaning two round trips of 100+ miles each way for a single appointment. The scheduling failures, in sequence: Doctors in Savannah, GA, sent scripts for two MRI examinations -- one of the cervical spine and one of the right shoulder. When I called to book, the representatives could not locate the scripts, then found one, then claimed they found two but that both were duplicates until the realized the scripts were distinct. This consumed the first portion of a 30-minute call. I made one requirement explicit throughout: both MRIs had to be in an upright machine, as pain prevents me from lying motionless in a horizontal unit. I was first told neither the Gate Parkway nor the Mandarin locations had an upright MRI. When I said I would cancel, I was then told Gate Parkway did have a UPRIGHT MRI. I was then told back-to-back same-day appointments were impossible -- only to be told they were possible, and they were booked. At this point of my exchange with the call center employees, we have four contradictory answers regarding equipment availability and four more regarding scheduling. You may wonder, why didn't I call locations directly and avoid the call center fiasco. I did. My calls were rerouted to the call center. Following the booking, I completed all required pre-appointment steps: uploaded my ID and insurance cards, filled out the intake forms, and confirmed both appointments. Despite this, I received daily text messages prompting me to book and confirm appointments I had already made and to upload documents that were already uploaded. A technician came to retrieve me twenty minutes after my appointment time. When I mentioned I had driven 2.5 hours from Savannah specifically for an upright MRI, the technician -- relatively new and unable to speak to the matter authoritatively -- confirmed the Gate Parkway location does not have an upright machine. Staff at the front desk were apologetic but unable to resolve the situation. An attempt was made to redirect me to the Mandarin location that same day; it was closed. The outcome: a wasted trip and a rebooked appointment, requiring a second 100+ mile drive in pain at a future date. Management must be aware of this call center problem. This office is fantastic. From the rocking chairs out front to the big cozy couches inside, everything is cozy and comfortable. Restrooms were clean. On arriving for my appointment (30 minutes early), I was told that Mayo sent the wrong order (for the second time). I got Mayo on the phone and they were able to get a verbal order and I was able to still make my appointment in time. I interacted with 4 different staffers on this visit and all were helpful and pleasant. I prefer getting imaging here because I pay a co-pay rather than a "hospitalization" when I get them done at the hospital. It can be tricky getting the image order from the doctor (or hospital) to the imaging center, then getting images back to the doctor, but it saves a lot of money if you are able to do it that way. This was my second visit to Precision (was at another location previously) and I would definitely recommend them for any imaging needs. read more

Customer Service 4/5 - Staff is courteous and helpful during check-in. Wait Time: 3/5 - At times, the wait has been longer than expected, which is my only real complaint. Equipment Quality: 5/5 - The imaging technology here are new and state of the art, one of the main reasons I continue choosing this location. Reports are usually completed within 3 to 4 business days, and my doctor is typically able to review them within a week. Despite occasional wait times, the quality and reliability of this facility make it my preferred choice. read more

I get called back at 6:55pm What's the point in an appointment time? Why are you making people wait almost 40 min to get called back? I went to this location to grab a copy of my MRI so I could bring it to a doctor's appointment. This location is located across the street from Ikea in a strip mall. I will say parking is pretty problematic here, as it shares a lot with a larger medical building and the strip mall. Parking is also pretty tight, so beware. When I arrived I walked in and was greeted. The person at the counter was very pleasant. I let her know that I needed two copies of my MRI results. She said it would be about 10 minutes. Went there for an X-ray on my son's leg. 6 days (4 business days) and three phone calls and I have repeatedly been told they will "mark it urgent" but no results. I was told results would be in within 24-48 hours. If I had been made aware about how long x-rays were taking, I would have gone elsewhere. I was a bit hesitant to make an appointment here due to the bad reviews. I had to go for a CTR scan and a week or so later another Dr ordered an ultrasound so I had to go back. Both times have been a pleasure, or as pleasurable as these tests can be. It is a bit hidden from the road and you pull in and see a Melting Pot restaurant and you go to the right and around towards the back and there is plenty of parking. I walked in and was greeted right away, I showed up early and was called back for my test at my appointment time. The tests themselves were both done by nice, caring and gentle (techs?) not sure what they are called. From the person I met up front and greeted me, to the lady who took my payment to the person doing to test was all smooth and easy. I will definitely use this in the future for all of my tests. read more

I cannot say enough good things about Precision Imaging Center. I needed to get in for a stat MRI and they were so helpful in accommodating me before my doctors appointment. I called the night before, and they were able to get me in for an 8 am MRI which was perfect. Not only that, but they made sure I left with the disc in hand and emailed me the report not long after. Every staff member was super friendly and made the process smooth and easy. Amerah at the front desk made sure all the logistics were taken care of with the disc and sending everything to my doc in time. My techs, Rachel and Bailey, made me feel comfortable for the entire scan, with music on request, blankets, and kindness. Imaging centers can often be a painful experience, but not here. The employees are always professional and organized which is a huge plus (some medical practices i've been to in town are complete chaos and have made tons of mistakes! It's scary & frustrating!) I have been going to Precision Imaging on Gate Parkway for about 10 years. I've had x-rays, MRIs, CTs, etc.... They are absolutely the best at what they do. One day, I had x-rays taken, then an MRI of my back, followed by an MRI of my neck. These were back to back to back. They were so nice it was a breeze and felt like I was in and out in a few minutes. Last week, I had a CT of my back scheduled at 4 pm. I arrived a few minutes early, but I was finished with the CT and back in my truck by 4:03pm. Can't do much better than that. Their care is always of the best quality, and I have not once experienced a bad or angry employee. My current doctors can log into their site and look at my scans with a click or two. Precision makes it simple to compare scans done years apart to see how much a problem has worsened over time. They have many locations, and the office on Gate Parkway is open until 11 p.m., so no matter what goes you work, you won't have to waste a day off to get an MRI completed. Today, I'm picking up a couple of my images on CDs along with the reports to expedite an appointment with a new physician. Walking in the door, I was met with a huge smile and received what I needed in a few minutes with a complementary cup of coffee. I highly recommend Precision Imaging. read more

The Gate Parkway branch did an ultrasound on my neck and abdomen on May 01, 2026. My doctor wrote on the order to measure my submandibular glands because they had been enlarged nearly 3 years. The female tech said they are not enlarged now and did no measurements, so we have no comparsions or even a benchmark because they had never measured them on previous imaging. I have Sjogren's Disease, so this was important for me. I had my thyroid removed last November 04, 2025. I was told they saw a lymph node in my neck, but it wasn't mentioned in the report. The tech said it was too small to biospy. They also have a cyst on my liver. Nothing was in the report, except a cyst on my kidney. The report had no findings except the kidney cyst, so I doctor's don't know if Sjogren's is progressing or not. Sjogren's patients have a greater risk of developing non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. My doctor told me to call them and request a re-read they wouldn't let me talk to anyone to do this. Doctor's need to know what's seen and have measurements, so that appropriate medication and treatment can be given...now my doctor is in the dark. read more

Three tests scheduled in May for the first available in July 21st. Bone density, mammogram, and breast ultrasound. On Tuesday, July 8 at 7:18am received a call from Precision. According to the caller, Precision didn't do breast ultrasound and "they don't work anyway." I explained my doctor wanted an ultrasound so I'd get an appointment elsewhere for that procedure and would be at the 7/21/25 8 am appointment for the mammogram and bone density. At appointment today 7/31/25 before 8am- told I cancelled the appointment. I explained the call 7/8/25 and it wasn't known who called or why I was told Precision didn't do breast ultrasounds. So after waiting 2 months for the appointment, told one of three wasn't done, then at appointment told it was cancelled and all three procedures were done and they didn't know who called me or why - they were trying to "fit me in." No, scheduling is the easiest part of the services Precision may or may not perform at any given time. If Precision can't schedule, doesn't know what services are provided and doesn't know who called representing Precision - not going to trust them with performing services or any analysis. Obviously, informed doctor to refer to another imaging services and note my file never to refer me to Precision. Think carefully before believing anything scheduled or any phone calls from Precision. If Precision doesn't want to service Medicare patients or the elderly, they should remove their services from any referral list. read more

I went to precision imaging for a repeat CT scan. They sent me a link to pre-check in which was made easily to complete including taking payment. After completing it gave me an address of where they are located. Unfortunately they have multiple locations and it was the wrong address. Luckily I made it to the right location. 10 minutes late. They apologize and took me right away. It was very nice looking in the lobby, very comforting and relaxing. Once they took me to the back, they took me to the woman's waiting area where I was able to take off my jewelry and undressed what I needed to and when I was ready, took me back for the scan. There were plenty of workers and they were all extremely nice patient and helpful. They checked on me through the intercom throughout the scan checking to see if I was still OK which I liked. After I was done, they let me out the back door, which I was confused and asked a couple times to make sure. I'm not sure if it was because I was the last appointment of the night or what but I would've liked to go back to the woman's area I started in to reclothe and put my jewelry back on. Located near Ikea, Precision is our go to place for all our imaging! I go here for my annual mammogram and X-ray. They have a separate waiting area for mammogram screening. The room is very nice and comfortable. They even have a small plate of chocolates! So thoughtful! Another plus factor is convenience, as they are open 7 days a week! No need to take time off from work! Lol! Staff are friendly and accommodating! They also have a coffee corner and I always make sure to have a cup every time I have an appointment. Pretty good coffee too! Great location and more affordable compared to others. Furthermore, they have a patient portal where you can access all your imaging! What more can you ask for!? read more

I picked up a disk for a recent MRI. I personally brought the disk to my surgeon. There was nothing on the disk. I called to get another disk. The representative put in the request with a promise to call when it is available. Two days later, no call. Called back to find out if I can pick up the disk. No information on file indicating the last contact. The reps try to do their jobs but the process is completely broken. Select a different imaging center unless you are fine with wasting your time. They also gave us three different co-pay amounts. Finally when my husband paid they quoted the highest at $395. When I questioned it they responded "we thought it was incorrect". The eventually charged $132 and reversed the $395. Complete nonsense. read more

Unfortunately, it's more difficult to get an appointment here now. The wait time is average, an hour or so. Luckily it is a comfortable and clean place. The parking is great. I don't know anyone who would be excited to go to get imaging done. The receptionist does always greets with a smile and seems accommodating. The various techs have been relatively kind and accommodating but the office for how nice it looks in the waiting area, this place only has one bathroom for each gender. I was early and had to wait twenty minutes but during that time the bathroom was occupied the whole time. The door never opened. Sure, not the business' fault but I wondered ab those elderly people who need to use the bathroom and couldn't. The staff are great. Check-in is easy. Wait time was reasonably short. Water and coffee available while you wait. BUT...the waiting area is icky. The furniture is shabby. The floors are absolutely filthy. Dirt, hair, food crumbs, caked-in grime. I honestly can't imagine the wood floors have even been swept recently, let alone polished. I have NO complaints about the patient care. But Precision, you can do so much better with the (outward) imaging you present. Clean yourself up. The staff and facility were great for my mammogram and ultrasound however after that everything went down hill. They called to reschedule my MRI twice . After I finally got in for my MRI I was told I would have my results within two weeks . It has now been over three weeks and I have been getting the run around . I have called multiple times and was told I would have my MRI results within 24 hrs . Another week has gone by and I still do not have my results . I HIGHLY DO NOT recommend this facility . Please go to Baptist Health facility : Hill Breast center. They can take care of all your needs when it comes to the breast in a timely manner and you do not get the run around. I wish I knew about Baptist sooner. I would not have wasted my time and energy at Precision Radiology on Gate parkway!!!! read more

Checked in 15min early and was not given a heads up that they are running behind. I asked after sitting for 45 mins only to be told it'll be another 25/30min and no apology or anything. Just an excuse and completely brushed off. Love the eye rolling and the lack of empathy. Most people coming here are dealing with some sort of pain and to not even get eye contact or some sort I'm sorry for the wait. Nope just snotty disregard by not the check on girl but the one with the neck tattoo and her back to the front desk. Unfortunately the one closer to me doesn't take Tricare. Customer service is less than helpful or willing to help. Got a simple x-ray done three weeks later scheduled an MRI. To be very honest the whole scheduling for the second procedure went smoothly. Called one hour later and they were unable to help me to schedule the same day. I would have to come back at another time at a different location to be honest if they're that busy I can find another center. That is more helpful. Nice looking place, but the front desk lady doesn't make eye contact with you, and when you self pay and fill out all of the forms she yells your name like she's working a deli counter and doesn't give you time to stand up and walk to the counter before yelling it louder and telling you to go around the corner in the back to pay. And then they ask you 7 times if you're self paying after you've already signed all of the acknowledgment. Oh and they make you sit for over a half hour after your appointment was rescheduled a half hour earlier. read more
