Dr. Pilcher, my original doc was injured and hasn't been able to return to work for several years. Angela Armstrong has been my provider in her absence. The professionalism and passion for patients is STILL top notch! That is evidenced by the nearly full waiting room I see at each visit. Even with a near capacity waiting room- the wait is never excessive. Mrs. Armstrong is quick, efficient, thoughtful, thorough, knowledgeable, helpful, and very caring! I've always felt confident in her findings and recommendations, although I have to admit I don't always follow her recommendations to a 'T.' The single most important time that I NEEDED to, was the time she discovered I had a large melanoma on my shoulder. We immediately made an appt for Dr. Shvartzman to remove it. The surgery went seamlessly, although he took out a much larger area than I thought needed to be removed. But, then again, I'm not the doctor and I'm doing just fine now! Hands down -- this is THE BEST dermatology/skin surgery office in Jax! Why would anyone want to go anywhere else???

My appointment was at 2:15, I got called into the exam room right at that time (if not a bit early), the exam was fast and efficient - I had a couple suspicious spots removed and I was back in my car by 2:37. That's my kind of appointment!! Staff seemed friendly. Very convenient location.

With so much going on after the move it's been really hard to track my days without something falling through the cracks. The office was really nicely decorated, it was modern and comfortable. They are taking covid precautions such as enforcing social distancing, taking temperatures before entering exam rooms. One thing they don't have: HAND SANITIZER. I usually bring my own pen but forgot it today. I was grossed out using the office pens, but oh well. I used sanitizer that was in the waiting room. The visit with the dermatologist was nice. She definitely explained things to me thoroughly and answered all of my questions. Turns out I have some eczema and had a painful mole removed which was quick and painless. The dermatologist did offer her views on covid and I definitely disagree with her viewpoint but nonetheless that doesn't take away from her being a good doctor and I'm okay with people having differing views from my own. I'll be back and so happy to find my new dermatologist!
