I have been coming there 7 years and it's always been $95 for a check up and cleaning. I made a appointment because they texted me and said I haven't been in in a year. Which isn't true as you did a $1500 silver cap just 10 months ago. I was not told that you tripled the price from $95 to $300 to do a basic teeth cleaning and check up after driving a hour and a half from Coldspring to your office. The lady at the front desk told me it was now $300. I said why wasn't i made aware of this before driving hour and a half a week earlier. She said we have a insurance plan that is only $100 + the $80 for the same treatment I got for half the price for years. Make your clients aware that you more than doubled and tripled the price. With 20 years of experience comes a lot of wisdom about how to make people feel confident and at ease. I started going to him when I was in middle school (1989), so I know he's good with kids. His office staff is friendly, helpful, and experienced as well. They always remember little details about me and my family and seem to really care about us. Don't even worry about pain here. He's really careful and gentle with your mouth. Even in complex procedures, I felt no pain. Somehow, even when he gives you the shot it doesn't hurt. How is that possible?! Dr. G does excellent cosmetic dentistry. The front of one of my teeth chipped off, and he fixed it so well that my next dentist and hygienist were really surprised when they saw the x-ray and realized that tooth had been repaired! Though his prices sometimes exceeded what my insurance considered reasonable and customary, he was worth every penny.

On my way there, a major accident caused heavy traffic, and I immediately called the office to notify them that I would be about 15 minutes late. I marked the voicemail as urgent and also sent a text through their system so they knew I was coming. When I arrived, I was told the dentist (Dr. Jessica Ransom) had already left. My urgent voicemail was not checked, my message was ignored, and no one made any attempt to reach out to me. For an emergency appointment, this is unacceptable. More importantly, I felt extremely uncared for and completely dismissed. I was in severe pain -- the kind of pain that came on suddenly and required immediate help -- and yet I was not considered important enough for the dentist to stay an extra 15 minutes. The entire purpose of emergency dental care is to help patients who are suffering. Instead, I was left without an exam, without support, and without any consideration for my situation. Being referred out for a possible failed root canal during this kind of crisis only adds to the stress. A patient in pain should never be abandoned after communicating clearly that they are on the way. This was unprofessional, irresponsible, and showed a lack of basic compassion. As a former patient, I can no longer recommend this practice. The only positive part of the visit was the assistant who stayed and tried to help, but the dentist's actions overshadowed everything else.

This happened multiple times and felt completely unprofessional and unsafe. I was told my pain medication and antibiotics would be called in, but when I went to the pharmacy, no prescriptions had been sent. After speaking with Marrisa hours later, I was still left without the medication I needed just minutes before the pharmacy closed. I would not recommend this office.
