I strongly caution anyone considering Serenity Dental for orthodontic treatment. My stepdaughter…read morewas treated at this office while Dr. Blake Sherrick was still associated with the practice. Since his departure, the office has had multiple doctors rotate through, creating inconsistent care, confusion in her treatment plan, and resulting in permanent damage to her oral health. We were charged thousands of dollars for a single Phase I appliance, despite assurances that payment would cover both Phase I and Phase II treatment. Communication was consistently poor, documentation incomplete, and the handling of our concerns unprofessional and dismissive. We paid the full treatment cost upfront but did not receive even a fraction of the promised services. Repeated attempts to resolve the matter through Toni Garner, the district manager, have been ignored, and she has refused to issue a fair refund. Parents and guardians should exercise extreme caution. Verify treatment plans, ensure billing transparency, and confirm continuity of care before entrusting this office with your child's orthodontic treatment. Our experience has been both financially and emotionally damaging, and it reflects a serious failure of professional responsibility.

I paid over $50,000 for full mouth veneer treatment with this office. Within about three years, one…read morerestoration failed and required emergency care. I no longer live in Texas, so I saw another provider locally. That provider was recommended by this office and uses the same lab. During that visit, I was shown a clear image of an unsealed margin on the tooth adjacent to the failed restoration. This area is now causing significant sensitivity and requires treatment. Despite this, I was told by Dr. Young that addressing it would be a personal choice and not necessary. I was also told that issues like this could be related to whether I was keeping up with cleanings. I have consistently attended my dental cleanings before and after the restoration. I have been trying to get help since April 11, when the crown failed. I was finally told on 4/30 that a night guard would be remade and sent. I provided my address and never received a response or update. My records state that a night guard was delivered to me after treatment completion. I never received a night guard. What I was given were retainers, which I believed were night guards all along. I raised concerns shortly after placement in 2023, including asymmetry and bite issues, and provided photos at the time. I relied on the guidance that things were addressed. I am now dealing with a failed restoration, another tooth requiring treatment, and no protective night guard despite documentation stating otherwise.
