I've given them several chances but their front office staff is just too incompetent, they over charge you, refuse to speak with my insurance regarding an appt I have that they incorrectly verified coverage for. I brought my child there for an ortho/teeth cleaning after discussing for months. When we arrived, I was told that the orthodontist is only there once a month so we had to come back. When we met with the ortho, she harassed me like a car salesman about getting my daughter some braces, which was fine, but she didn't take our insurance into consideration, and enforced out of pocket payments. She said our daughter may need a tooth adjusted and I asked could she expound on how that'll be done and she said, "magic," and laughed. She expected for us to pay $5,000+ for some magic, so poof be gone. There was nothing funny to me about that. My last caveat is when my daughter, who's 12 was called back, the staff asked was I her sitter. I guess African Americans can't have Hispanic children. When I went to the back, they huddled and asked 'how are you related to her, with suspicion. God bless this office. Racial and ethical competency is so crucial. Dr Sharma and his assistant Iromy were awesome! My son had a filling that another dentist couldn't do because they said they couldn't get his tooth numb but Dr Sharma and his team were able to do it the next day with no problems. We are so very thankful for their care and that they were able to do it right away. Also, there was no wait in the office and even though we were new patients and they did the exam and treatment we were only there for an hour for everything. What this company lacks in integrity, they make up for in audacity. Every negative review must be fake, or wrong location etc. I posted a negative review very clearly outlining my issue, and true to form, the condescending management response explained copays to me (my complaint has nothing to do with copays) and basically dismissed me as though I was just a silly little goose. Trust me, I understand how it works. I also understand they charge a great deal more than insurance allowable amounts. They know this, but they are either incompetent or intentionally deceptive about giving quotes (the insurance max is clear when the benefits are searched). We also learned they opted for unnecessary treatment that was far more expensive than what was really needed is. When we contacted someone we know who works in dental insurance billing expressing concern, she said "let me guess, Charm Dental?" Which says quite a bit about this being an issue with my...ahem...understanding of payments for medical services. Considering it's apparently all us, the new dentist seemed to have no trouble getting what look like accurate quotes. They also accept the lower amount the insurance pays as total payment, despite Charm telling us this was illegal. Interesting. read more

This is THE worst dental experience I have ever had. I waited over an hour past my appointment time, the doctor told me they could fit me for retainers that day but then I was told someone else that they couldn't. When I got fitted, they said I could pick up same day...that didn't happen. When I picked it up, it didn't fit, so had to be refitted...and of course...not ready the same day again. Ripped off! This isn't a honest dentist. I needed my crown cemented in ,I was quoted over the phone it would $59 for x rays & exam and $95 for crown to be cemented in. Seemed reasonable to me since I was paying out of pocket. After exam I was quoted to pay $404 which didn't make any sense what they we're charging me for. they gave me an option to pay for the discount care plan and only pay $278... I had already payed the $59 for exam and If It weren't my front crown I would of walked out! So I payed for their discount care. I knew arguing wouldn't get me anywhere the young girl that gave me the quote wasn't helpful! These people will squeeze every cent out of you if you allow it. So beware of them over charging if you go here. Ask questionable questions before paying them. read more

Do not recommend, all the employees are kind but the dental work is awful. I had discomfort in a tooth and decided to follow their plan of a root canal, the process took much long than expected and now my pain and discomfort is worse. It's so unbearable I can barely bit anything, and have lost weight over it. They filed down a tooth that had zero problems before, but was below the one I did a root canal on, and now it constantly aches also! Lost some fillings within 6 weeks of getting them from Charmed too. I have to pay another dentist now to fix the work they did, and I'm glad my husband didn't let them work on his mouth because a tooth they wanted to do a root canal on didn't have any damage. I do highly recommend Distinct Dental, it's quite a drive but worth it for the quality of work they do. read more

I never write reviews, but I need to write one this time. I had an appointment today at Charm Dental for a standard cleaning. This was my first time there. I called ahead of time, spoke with Monica, and explained that I had no insurance. I was told the price was $59 which included x-ray exams. This seemed normal to me since they had the same offer at Spring Premier Dental. I was completely open about having no insurance with everyone there - including Monica, then the attendant in scrubs, the hygienist, and the dentist. There was no possible way I could have been clearer. After they had already performed the x-rays, Monica informs me that she made a mistake and that the "special" was over. How convenient for them, right? If I still wanted to do the cleaning, that would be another $59 in addition to the $59 I already paid. This appointment was suddenly going to be $118. She tried to pressure me to go forward, but I know what I can and cannot afford. I despise these unethical aggressive sales tactics. I made this appointment for a cleaning. That's what I paid for. Did I get a cleaning? Nope. Instead, I got some stupid x-ray exam I never asked for. I was really disappointed. Everybody I spoke with was completely friendly and polite, even when they were denying me the service I paid for. I have to say I'm really impressed. That takes some real talent. And they did it all with very Charming smiles. Never again. read more

What an amazing experience! Which - I know - seems a funny way to describe a trip to the dentist. The staff was terrific; the office bright, fresh, and clean; and Dr. Medha provided excellent care. I went in for a routine checkup and teeth whitening. About the checkup: the dental suite had great, new equipment, and the experience was pain free. X-rays were taken with a wireless device and instantly transferred to a computer - how cool is that? The teeth whitening (Zoom) produced great results! The process consisted of 3 rounds of whitening treatments about 15 minutes each and was over in no time! Dr. Medha really cares about his patients. He explained everything thoroughly and answered all my questions with impressive knowledge and passion for his profession. I would highly recommend his services! read more

I recently visited charm dental to get my annual x-rays and teeth cleaned. I'm beyond satisfied with my experience. I highly recommend this dental office to anyone. As soon as you arrive to the office you are kindly greeted by the receptionist. Once you are taken back the dentist and staff utilize the most modern and up to date dental tools. My favorite part was being able to see my X-rays on the screen as they're being taken (see picture). This dental office is so welcoming and warm. May I add you get to watch Netflix while you're getting your teeth cleaned and if you're cold they provide a clean blanket for you to use. I felt like I was at ipic for a second. In the end, a staff member provides a hot towel to place over your head. Can you say ultimate VIP treatment. Dental office is clean and has all the bells and whistles i.e. Netflix. The front office staff is courteous and professional but that's about it. Would not recommend for anything more than basic cleaning and fillings. I saw patients come in bleeding from previous work performed by the dentist. In my case the dentist cannot seem to do a simple implant. Appears to be practicing on patients. Like I said would not recommend for any dental work beyond simple cleanings and fillings period. read more
