had a three man crew start the renovation for our bathroom: Leo, victor, and John. these dudes were patient, professional, thorough, and went the extra step to make sure all the deadwood or water damaged material was cleaned out. service requested + 1. Top-dollar value for hours of hard work. A previous crew came and basically just "put a band aid" on the water damage in our bathroom. These guys set us up for a fully-restored bathroom They finished an hour earlier than expected, and still found the time to hand vacuum the entire area they walked through before leaving. it definitely needed it even before they started lol. in other words, they left my home better than they found it. Spoke to Office and was told someone would meet me three days later to assess. No one showed at appointment. Called office. Told there was a mix-up, someone would call to reschedule. No one called. I sent several emails to Jehremy. Then spoke with him. Was told he submitted info to office and someone would call. No one called. Not only does their heat process not kill termites, but Precision Environmental has no quality control and is close to a scam. Money wasted. Very disappointing service. 5 months, several phone calls, multiple emails. AND NO RESPONSE. Beware. I had issues in my apt. and hired them for VOC removal. I met with Jehremy, who walked through the space and recommended three days of treatment at 135 degrees. I planed, alerted neighbors, and met them at 8 am the time that was the time they requested. The driver didn't show up until 9 am. He was alone. I had to help carry equipment up two flights of stairs until his partner Pedro showed up at 10 am. It was 3 hours of tooling around my apartment with people who made me feel like they didn't know what they were doing. I checked the e-mail they sent and then alerted the guys to some equipment they hadn't put in (air scrubber). It was news to them, but they added it. They turned everything on and drove away, so did I. Until a neighbor called me and said he was about to call the fire department because my smoke alarm was going off and my door hadal was hot. Yeah, so I turned around and went back and grabbed those smoke alarms, which should have been removed. They forgot. It's not Precision Environmental - It was Careless Environmental. They acted like Keystone Cops of Environmental Treatments. I didn't sleep. The next day I met with Jeremy, and he raised the temperature 10 degrees and put in another fan. More evidence that the guys who were working didn't know what they were doing or didn't care. The whole experience was very expensive and fell way short of the professional standards that were promised. In short - it was terrifying to have such powerful and volatile equipment staged outside and in my living space knowing that the people who set it up were just winging it. I canceled the third day and got the equipment out. I wasn't able to get a manager on the phone and speak with them about my experience. Which wasn't surprising given the standard I experienced after committing to working with them. This was a terrible experience, and the treatment wasn't effective. read more

Wawanesa Insurance hired this company to conduct a mold inspection in October 2023. Wawanesa denied my claim. In January 2024, I received a notice from Wawanesa informing me my insurance would be canceled if I didn't get the mold fixed. Precision also sent me a bill for the inspection ordered by Wawanesa. Once I figured out that a $250.00 check I received in October 2023 was for me to pay Precision, I promptly paid them. At the same time I asked Jessica if she would give me an estimate to remediate the mold. She agreed to do so but couldn't do it then bc she was away from her computer. After more than one week, I contacted Jessica again and asked for quote. The date was 01/29/24. She stated that she was driving but would call me when she returned to the office. I asked her if she would be in contact with me the same day and she said, "yes." Jessica never called me so today, 01.31.24, I contact the receptionist and told her that I couldn't seem to get a callback from Jessica. I asked to speak with another salesperson but the receptionist suggested I call a different company! I told her that bc Precision did the inspection, they have all my information and could give me an accurate quote. Also, since my insurance company used them I figured they would be reputable. Finally, I told her that I'm not familiar with any other companies that do this work. She refused to send me to anyone else. She told me she had never heard of an insurance company denying a claim for mold abatement. I told her I would contact the president of her company, Robert Ruiz and she encouraged me to do that! She ended the call. You couldn't pay me to use this company. Their customer service is not just nonexistent, it's terrible. read more

Fantastic job done. We expected the ceilings to be beyond repair after our 1960's popcorn ceiling with multiple paint jobs over it have been removed. We had planned to have hardwood floors installed from Flooring 101 but when they came to install them, the crew found that we had asbestos in our old flooring and the glue that they used also had asbestos. We called Precision Environmental and they were great to work with. They first sent out an inspector who determined if it really was asbestos then an estimator, Jay, came to our house to estimate the job. The crew did an excellent job. Very clean and thorough. I wanted to like Jehremy, but he has cost me a significant amount of money. I am in escrow on a home and asked him for an estimate for asbestos abatement in ductwork and scraping a ceiling. He came over (my realtor was present, not me) and then issued a written report. When I spoke to him verbally, and in his report, he did not say specifically that he would be removing the AC Ducts, leaving me with no working AC System. This was absolutely not made clear to me, and I'm not an expect in HVAC. I was not told that I would need to call an ADDITIONAL contractor to perform thousands of dollars more work when he was done. I've had multiple other inspections on this home and found issues, and in every other report, other contractors have specifically stated that when their work is done, I may need to call another contractor of a different type for completion of the repair. I used the bid provided by Jehremy my to negotiate the cost of repairs with my seller, and we agreed on terms. Now I've found out that I have to expect thousands in extra expenses which I feel were Jerehmy's obligation to inform me of at least verbally, if not in his written bid. Why he would assume that he would not need to tell me that his scope of work would leave me with a non-functioning HVAC system is beyond me. When discussing this scenario with my home inspector, a 40 year "Master Certified" inspector who trains other inspectors, he stated that he'd never heard of a provider doing this before, and agreed that it was unconscionable. Just when I'm spending my life's savings on a down payment, now I suddenly have to come up with more cash to resolve a safety issue before I move in. read more

We completely feel misled about the effectiveness of the heat treatment for termites in our home. The treatment is significantly more expensive than chemical tenting, but we did not want chemicals used, and were told that the heat treatment was as, if not more effective. The fact that we would only be out of the house for one day was also a huge plus. The sales pitch was convincing and Marlon provided information regarding the process so I was well aware of what to expect, however when I drove by the house during the treatment, the process that was described in writing was not being done. The house was not being fully tented per the process that was advertised. When I brought this to Marlon's attention he initially said that the house did not need the tent, then he changed his mind and told me that this was because the house had a flat roof and they were unable to or did not know how to secure it. It appears that they finally figured out how to at least drape the walls using sand bags on the parapet, but the roof was still exposed. I know that heat rises and my concern was that this would decrease the effectiveness of the treatment. Fast forward six months and the termites are back in full force in all of the same areas. There is a two year warranty but for the amount we paid and the inconvenience of the prep time and logistics of being out of the house, we are beyond disappointed. It is as if the treatment had no effect. Everyone that I have dealt with at the company, which was originally represented as Terminix, has been pleasant. Nathanial did come out to assess the situation and ended up spraying chemicals in a couple of locations, but this kind of defeats the purpose of the heat treatment. He was very attentive and appears to be helpful as we plan on having the Heat treatment done again, however considering how ineffective the initial treatment was, I fear that this will just be a waist of time. Probably should have gone with the less expensive but more effective chemicals. I will update if there are any changes. read more

My wife and I were researching termite treatment options and were trying to get some quotes to have our home treated. Andrew from Precision Environmental reached out to me on Thumbtack and informed me of their nontoxic ThermaPure treatment. He sent me some information on the process and its efficacy, assuring me that it comes with the same warranty as fumigation. He offered to come out to my home in Ventura to discuss the process in detail. We decided to go forward and were able to quickly complete the contract via email, allowing us to schedule the work to be done at a convenient date of our choice. The workers arrived about an hour early to set up - which was fine with us since it meant we would be able to get back into the house earlier as well. They were all very friendly and professional as we walked around the outside of the house to note some of the best options for making sure our plants and rain gutters would be safe. Since they needed to keep the house at a high temperature for several hours, we decided to make a fun day out of it. We spent the day hiking and swimming at the beach until they called us to say they were done with the treatment ahead of schedule. Of course, the house was pretty hot for a few hours after they left but it cooled down by the time we went to bed. It was very nice to know that the heat treatment not only took care of the termites and other pests, but also any mold that may have been in our home. The company sent some workers out a few days later to help me put a section of rain gutter back up. They even sent me a check to reimburse us for some ceramic pots that were accidentally knocked over as well as the cost of having a refrigerator technician come out to adjust our refrigerator. Overall, I am very pleased that we happened to have found Precision Environmental and I hope to see more and more people using their services instead of using chemical fumigation! read more

Couldn't be more thankful that Precision Environmental was able to assist us with cleaning our master bedroom after exposure to exposure to Asbestos. Andrew and his team (Johnny) were so easy to work with made the process so much easier and took the weight off of our family shoulders. Jehremy came over and looked at the project and told us that a project this small isn't worth bringing in a contractor, and that I could do it myself with some basic precautions. They could have easily done this project for their minimum charge if they wanted to claim it was too dangerous for a do it yourselfer. read more

We had just purchased a new house, and wanted to look for alternative termite treatments (i.e. not chemical fumigation). Met with Precision, all went well, decided to go ahead with the whole house heat treatment. In the process of getting the house ready for move in, we had brand new hardwood floors installed in one part of the house, which were installed on a Saturday. We went to the house the next day (Sunday), and the floors looked beautiful. Monday, the heat treatment commenced. We checked in at the house in the morning to see how it was going, and noticed that they had laid their heat tubes across the new hardwood. Didn't think too much of it at the time, but when we came the next day (Tuesday) to check in on the house, the hardwood floors had a strange residue/haze to it, which was NOT there when the floors were installed. Precision had one of their guys come do an assessment on the damage, and they asserted that it was the wood glue, and that it was there prior to the treatment (i.e. the flooring installation guy had left it that way). We know this is not the case, as we SAW the floors the day after installation and they were pristine. We contacted them again once they demanded payment, and they went radio silent. Nothing. Didn't send anyone else, and just never answered our e-mail about potential financial compensation for having to seriously clean (and replace) some of the BRAND NEW hardwood floor. Who knows what the real story is, and how they actually managed to damage the floors, but let's just say we had pristine hardwood floors prior to the treatment, and damaged floors the day after. No one was living in the house, and they were the only contractor to be there that day. Lesson learned. read more

I called out Precision to do asbestos remediation. Andrew came out and let us know that there may be other things of concern in the home. We immediately got them tested. Luckily they came back negative, but that attention to details from Andrew meant a lot. He was looking out for the safety and wellbeing of not only the people living in the home but around the environment as well. The scheduling and process was super easy and straight forward! Not to mention very cost effective! On the day of the remediation, the guys were there on time, dressed professionally, and even moved the refrigerator out of the area they were working in. It took about 3 hours I think, but when they left they left the place the way they found it. I was constantly updated and communicated with which was awesome. We contacted this company for termite heat treatment about 2 years ago. They came and heat treated the whole house. In our experience heat treatment for termites is not effective, since not even a year passed after the treatment we noticed termite activity again, droppings on a small openings of a structure that we had partially removed for renovation. We called the company. Someone came and offered chemical treatment, said that's what they do after heat treatment fails. But we didn't really want chemical treatment. The whole point of paying $2,000.00 for heat treatment was to avoid chemicals. After that we kept cleaning the droppings and spraying pure orange oil in that area, after a while there were no more droppings, but we kept on spraying the area. Then we decided to contact them again to find out if there were termites left and if there were, as a last resort we thought maybe have them use chemicals. We made an appointment, which was 2 weeks later, Friday from 11am-2pm. Then they emailed us that is was going to be 11 am, which we thought was great. Then they called and said its 11am-2pm again. Then they called again and said sorry, the driver had some issues, so he will come from 3pm-4pm. Shortly after that they called again and said he will be there from 4-pm-5pm. It was passed 5pm when driver called and said he is in a traffic and will be there in 15mins. It was around 6pm that he finally arrived. This guy, named Nathaniel I believe, was pompous, rude, and very unprofessional. He wanted to avoid answering our questions, and was very arrogant. Anyway, he said he didn't see termite activity, but sprayed something in few spots. We spent whole day waiting for them, they ruined our whole day (we had projects we had planned to do) and at the end very unpleasant experience. We have never ever had such an unpleasant experience with any company, or their representative before. read more

We read up on Thermal Fumigation, and knew right away that we wanted that method.
