I have a pair of jeans that have gone through years of wear and just at that perfect point where they have the right amount of wear and really comfortable. And at this point... I began getting more wear than I wanted and it started tearing. I was about ready to donate them but decided to really research some local tailors to see if I could get this fixed. I wasn't expecting much and if I didn't like the repair, I would just donate the jeans. They told me they would use material similar to make the repair. It took about a week and when I picked up the jeans, I was shocked at what a great repair job they did. They did use material very similar to the jeans I brought in. But not just similar in material, but it was also just as faded so it blended in perfectly. They repaired to so the area is completely covered and they even reinforced it a bit more from the inside. The stitching they did blends right in with the jeans and while I can see the area where the tear was previously, now it's covered and the repair just looks like natural wear and fading to the jeans. I cannot say enough about what a great job they did and how happy I am to not have to get rid of a great pair of jeans. I have some suits that need alterations and now I know this is a place I can certainly trust.

I love that no matter how feverishly they appear to be working, as soon as you step through the door they look up to greet you with a sincere smile. Triana herself is very soft-spoken, but very detail oriented (of course the nature of her work). Might I add, she has a very gentle touch. Never once did I feel like I was being crammed into my dress. In April I received a final fitting on my wedding dress. The top was taken in, straps were removed and 5 points were sewn in for an American-style bustle. Although I went against their recommendation to add cups, she was still able to transform my clearance rack dress into a wonderful masterpiece. The only reason I didn't give her 5 stars is because 2 points on my bustle tore right before the reception. Maybe that was my fault (lots of hopping around a dancing), but I wished that it was a bit more reinforced. P.S. I did take a pair of shorts to be taken in over the summer. Flawless work! I came here because I needed something repaired with replacement material.... Sadly, as I was discussing what I needed, the lady (new owners put) was already shaking her head no)... One of the best parts about the previous owners was how they would be so honest they'd warn you the affirmed labor would be costly.... But at least listened to you first before shaking their head no half way through what I needed done... SO sad - but I will NEVER come back here again.... The days of hand sewn solutions with quality and care are gone - last piece why I can write this confidently.... The lady attending me (after again shaking her head no through my request) looked at me and said: "the machine can't do it"..... Machines? Some alterations require hand sewing.... Especially custom pieces.... Guess I'll have to hunt for something like that... Good luck to the previous owners and again, be cautious....
