Scott was quick to jump to inexpensive repairs first rather than telling me it needed a new transmission like all the others. In the end the torque converter was shot, so opted to put in a newer used transmission at the same time (transmission has to come out anyways for torque converter replacement). Truck runs perfectly now. Looking at Scott's work, all heat shields, cables, ties are back exactly where they were before he started. I'd trust him every time with any transmission work that needs doing.

He said it happened about a month or so earlier yet he never called the police!!! So I asked him to call the police that day but he wouldn't, so I called the police and they took a police report!! my back door wouldn't close and the back window wouldn't role down and my steering wheel wouldn't lock still !! I Cranked the car up and the check engine light was on !! He said the heater core needed be replaced, he even wrote me estimate for $2500 This vehicle was flawless when I dropped it off no problems other than the blower resistor and this was actually checked out by a legitimate shop independence Volvo!! Only needed the blower resistor replaced!! While the police were there he kept stating he would replace everything after the police left he was very rude and told me to take him to court!!! Because he's not responsible for vehicles that he's working on at his shop!!! I will never let this nut case work on anything else ever of mine and yes I am going to take him to court!!! It started about 2 months ago when my engine seized and I was stuck at the Infiniti dealership in Charlotte. They told me it would cost approximately $18,000.00 for a new engine and my heart dropped. I asked Infiniti who would they recommend to do an engine replacement and they said Christian Brothers. I called Christian Brothers and spoke with Logan, he was able to give me some good information on my situation and based on our conversation, I decided to have my vehicle brought to t he eir shop. Logan was able to confirm what Infiniti told me and offered several options on how to move forward. He was in constant contact with me every step of the process of replacing my engine. However, come to find out that not only did I need to replace my engine but also the transmission because it was damaged due to the seized engine. It was news that I hated to hear yet I did trust that Logan was being honest with me and he did work with me on the price. Also, other issues came up with the repair but instead of charging me for certain repairs, they decided to take care of the cost. When I finally received my vehicle back, there was some other issues that came up and when I called Logan, he was responsive and had the issues resolved at no charge to me. Overall, having my engine seize up and then my transmission being damaged was a very difficult experience and hearing bad news after bad news didn't help, however I trusted Logan and I trusted the previous reviews I read. Overall, this experience was very good and I would definitely recommend Christian Brothers for auto repairs.
