be prepared to pay if you go with them. took a 40,000 mile car in because the cover was touching the rotor and they tried to quote me for $1,600 saying i needed to change my brakes and all of these other things. Had a very odd issue with my car where I was unable to remove my key from the ignition and could not shift gears. It was just stuck in neutral. From the process of getting my car towed to the shop and picking it up once the work was done was pleasant. I appreciate the staff's friendliness and their transparency of the diagnostic, what it could cost, and etc! Answered all my questions and put me at ease. LONG AS YOU AGREE TO THEY'RE TERMS YOU WILL NOT HAVE ANY ISSUE! 1ST TIME YOU CHALLENGE THEM THAT'S WHEN YOU WILL SEE THE SWITCH!!! I was having problems with my 2015 Chevrolet Impala shifting gear to gear so I looked up a shop in my area where I would not have to drive long distance. This what lead me to RX AUTO. After doing a diagnostic I was later told I was having transmission problems and what my options were. @ that time I took my vehicle home so I could figure out my next move for I could not afford an transmission new or used. Luckily I found out my vehicle was still under warranty and my transmission was covered. @ that time I contacted RX Auto and let them know I had coverage and would drop my car off to be repaired which the girl there that handles the warranty claims stated the vehicle had to be on the premises in order for the warranty company to speak to them. I dropped off my vehicle the next day. The inspector from the warranty company came out within 48hrs to look at my vehicle. The inspector concluded it was the transmission and would approve the claim but they would supply the transmission. Auto RX just needed approval from me to do the work. Me being a woman I always get two quotes to be sure I'm getting the best rate. I also spoke with the warranty company to be sure of what they were covering and what they were not covering because out of pocket RX Auto was charging me $1100.00 as well as they threatened to charge "storage fee." After doing my due Dilligence I was able to get my cost down to $680.00 @ which time I approved them to work on my car. After about 4 to 5 days the transmission arrived. I called every two days or so to check on my Impala to make sure things were getting done for the warranty company would only pay for a certain amount of days to be in a rental. Once they got my transmission put in they ran into a problem with the pan leaking when they tried pouring in the fluids, at which time the girl from RX AUTO notified me that she would contact the warranty company to cover the extra cost since they provided the transmission. I offered to also contact them to speed up this process. Once I called back the manager RUDELY informed me that my car was taking up to much time and space and needed it off his lift he would go ahead and put the pan on! He did not have time for this. He did not get authorization from myself or the warranty company to do this work before making this decision. I called back the next day to see if my car was complete I was told they were waiting on payment as well as the warranty company refused to pay for the extra work. I then informed the manager that I also would not be paying a penny over what they had already quoted. He made the executive decision to do the work before speaking to anyone so he would have to eat that charge. He then began to argue with me stating he knew the law. WHAT HE DID NOT KNOW WAS SO DO I !!! I ALSO KNOW THAT THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAY'S RIGHT !! & NOT AT ANY POINT SHOULD YOU BE RUDE OR ARGUE BACK AND FORTH WITH A PAYING CUSTOMER ESPECIALLY WHEN YOUR COMPLETELY @ FAULT! ONCE I TOLD HIM HE HAD BEEN RUDE TO ME HE THEN BEGAN TO TELL ME I CALLED THERE EVERYDAY AS THOUGH I WAS A NUISANCE. I EXPLAINED I HAD A VECHICLE THERE AND HAD EVERY RIGHT TO CALL AND CHECK THE STAUS OF MY VECHICLE ANY TIME I SAW FIT!! HE ALSO TOLD ME THEY WOULD NOT SERVICE ME AGAIN WHICH WAS LAUGHABLE!! I brought my car in for diagnostic testing and I was told I needed a water pump and housing. Decided to move forward with the repair work. I chose this company because they did an amazing job on my BMW years prior. Not knowing they completely switched staff and management. They do have great communication but here are issues. When I received the call my car was ready. I pick my car up and it sounds like a lawnmower. I asked why my car sounded like that and he said it was my timing chain. I said what!! my car didn't sound like this when I dropped it off, it was only trying to run hot. He then said well I dont know what your car sounded like when you brought it in.. I said if my car sounded like this why wouldn't I have it fixed. that's just dumb. I reach out to them after mentioning it again via text several times just to have a trail of communication. I mentioned that my car sounds terrible They never said to bring it back to look at it or anything. This went on for a few weeks and it only got louder.. So now coming to the conclusion that I'd have to have someone else look at my car because they were'n't going to take responsibility. I took my car to a different shop to find out what this loud noise was coming from the engine and it was indeed my timing chain. When they put my car back together, they broke 2 of the chain guards, one at the top and another towards the bottom. Not only that. 2 bolts are broken off inside my engine where the pulley is at the bottom by the guard. This happened putting my car back together. They over tighten the bolts and left it!!! Didn't even call and say anything about it. They just put my car back together knowing what they did.. It's now going to cost me an additional $2k to repair my car and get it running again. Women beware. I was completely taken advantage of and they refuse to even look at my car because they know the f*d up putting my car back together. Bogus company. I'm now waiting for Action 9 from channel 9 news to contact me back so I can have some professional help to at least put this in the media. Im out of options and only wanted my car repaired! Went to get my car fixed and I was impressed by the affordable cost but it ended up costing me much more in the end. When I picked up my car my windshield was cracked and when I told them about it they offered to fix but I was given the run around trying to get it accomplished. I had to lose hours at work just to get it fixed and then after getting it fixed I was accused of lying about it being broken. I was told that the mechanic that was working on it said it was cracked before he had worked on it but he no longer worked there so there was no proving what he said. I didn't like being accused of lying especially after having to make so many adjustments to my work schedule and day to cooperate with them. I would have been happy to give them a wonderful rating if it weren't for the arrogant customer service and accusations. They will not be receiving my business anymore and I definitely would not recommend them. read more

I ended up needing to have my car towed somewhere on a Friday night/early Saturday morning due to my alternator going bad. Typically I go to the AAA since Im relatively new to the Charlotte area but I was willing to try somewhere new that would hopefully get my car done in a quicker amount of time and for a lower cost. The customer service here was great & I was able to get my car fixed within the same day which has been unprecedented for me!
