I brought my car in for a simple brake replacement, and this shop has caused me nothing but problems since. After the brakes were replaced, they kept squeaking, so I brought my car back like they told me to. The owner claimed he "didn't hear anything," so nothing was fixed. When I picked up my car, my headlight was busted -- something that was absolutely not damaged when I dropped it off. Instead of taking responsibility, he tried to tell me it was already like that. On top of that, my dashboard is now showing a lamp malfunction sensor, something that has never appeared before this visit. I trusted them with my car, and it came back with more issues than it went in with. Extremely unprofessional, dishonest, and careless. I would not recommend this shop to anyone. read more

If you have a German car that needs work done, Jim is THE man you need to go to. He is honest, knowledgeable, and fast. I was pulling into Torchy's parking lot when suddenly white smoke started coming out of my BMW 540i's hood. At that moment, I knew that it was a coolant gasket problem. Jim's shop was the nearest German auto shop so I pulled in. Jim greeted me and took the car on the spot. He confirmed my assumption that there was a problem with the valley pan coolant gasket. That's when I knew he was legit. He gave me a reasonable quote and followed through upon delivery the next day. I could have not asked for a better experience. WOW! So, my husband and I drive a CLS. (Well my husband, but what's his is mine am I right?) We are the typical take your car to the dealer type of people because I'm usually picky on who works on our Mercedes. My husband had heard of Jim through a friend and told us we wouldn't be sorry because he's worked for Mercedes alone for 18 years and if there is anyone we can trust with our car, it's him. So we were excited to stop by Precision Auto Care. (But not excited to spend lots of money.) On the way there, we naturally stopped at our usual service shop and got a quote. Then we arrived at Precision, we were greeted promptly and asked what brought us in today. We explained how we had heard of the place and went on to explain what was going on with our sweet baby. Jim was very informative, and not pushy at all. He wasn't trying to up-sell us with all the unnecessary stuff like at the dealership and he genuinely cared about what was best for our car and for us. He mentioned some other things he saw that weren't in need of immediate fixing, but told us that whenever we are ready, he can take care of it. Also very helpful, because some days you just aren't ready for all that extra stuff. But the best part.....we paid literally a fraction of what we would have paid at the dealership, believe me, we went and asked. Outside there's a little bench where you can have a seat, so my husband and I did until they were done assessing. We drove together in one car because we didn't expect to get it squeezed in that day, and one of Jim's associates literally drove us home. I swear, we will be back in due time for the other little things. We are so impressed!! Next time we will come with two cars just because that was too sweet. Amazing service, amazing prices! I took my Ford 2013 Escape for an urgent appointment. My panel came loose and was dragging on the road. I spoke with the owner, and he gave me an estimate $20-$100 because he had not seen my car. When i got there, he took a look and gave me a honest feedback after he heard me. I had taken my car to the Ford Dealership 1 day before and they had most likely not tightened it properly putting me at risk to an accident, since i drive 60 miles a day, on George Bush Turnpike. He gave me his advice, he took it off and put it in my trunk free of cost and asked me to take it to the dealership and ask for a new one due to the damage or tighten the existing one for free. I took my 2008 Infiniti G37s to get all my fluids replaced, before I went to class at UTD on a Wednesday morning. He gladly took my car in and even offered transportation to my college, since I had to walk without my car. I didn't mind walking, but I never went to a mechanic that offered transportation so that was nice of him. Jim was able to do everything from the transmission fluid all the way to the Differential fluid all in one day. Afterwards he gave me great advice on other maintenance jobs that I need to keep on my car. Jim know his stuff and he seems to care about his customers a lot. I found my mechanic! I was so pleased with the service I received for my oil change that I went back and got a qoute when I needed to get the brakes done on my Audi. Of course, his qoute was better and when I asked if I could get it in immediately, he accommodated. The other thing I think is great about this place is I don't feel intimidated or wish someone who knows a lot about cars was with me.
