Completed the fencing but did not include one way door. Took two months for them to come back out and that was only because I disputed the charge for lack of completion. Fast Forward and their skunk fencing did not prevent skunks from getting under my house and spraying. Shooty work from even shadier people.

First of all, the woman that answered the phone (sadly I didn't catch her name) was so kind and listened to my panicking story and walked me through my options. I was pleasantly surprised with the entire service. I have not seen one single critter since they came and sprayed. I cannot say enough good things about this company and how professional and caring they were. I am glad I have found a great pest control company. Thank you guys!

We had an ant infestation problem so I reached out to the company. Al responded right away (as always). They came out the next day to take care of the issue for us. We asked them to spray around the house as well, since we've been noticing spiders and house centipedes here and there. We paid using our credit card without any problems. I can attest that the gentleman who spoke about his experience with James in one of the past reviews was likely a result of an unfortunate misunderstanding - James came to service our house and he was a very friendly & pleasant Midwestern gentleman, we would work with him again any day of the week!

I thought a can of stuff from the local big box store would take care of the problem but I think it was like air freshener to them. Once I was on my second can, and both my nephew and I got stung, I knew it was time to get a professional. After getting a few quotes (at astronomical prices) I decided on Ohio Pest Pro. Jim was very friendly and professional and had a great price. He happens to stop by on a rainy day which was good because most of the bees were "home" that day. After he pulled the soccer ball sized nest out of the ground, I realized I never had a chance. He was in and out in about a half hour total. No more bees. Plus you get a guarantee so if any return he comes back to respray the area. 5 stars. Give him a shot. You won't be sorry, or broke.

I hired Randy to clean racoon waste out of my attic. After 15 min or so, he stepped somewhere on the dry wall and punched a hole into the bathroom below. He quickly cleaned up and tried to drive off without explaining to me what happened or if he accomplished anything. (which was next to 0). When I confronted him, he gave me a number to 'his' drywall guy who would do the repair. The drywall guy showed up the next day and demanded $670 before starting the work. Fearful the racoons could come back at any time I had to pay him. Randy insisted 4 months ago he would pay me back when business picked up, but he wouldn't give me even $10 to demonstrate he would, so I had to take him to small claims court. No surprise I won. He is refusing to pay me saying I will have to garnish his wages. So I will, but today I'm leaving him my first Yelp Review. I am a long time customer of almost 40 years! John Patton first came out to do an inspection of the…read morehome I was buying. The first technician I had did my home for long time and ultimately moved on and has his own company now but he was my tech for a long time. I don't like a revolving door for my service techs and I have to say the ones I had over the years were long time providers. Then came a tech named JR----he was around a long time and was tremendous. He would actually watch and follow the bugs and see where they live.... I learned to do that from him so the nest could be sprayed directly and not just broadcast spraying hoping to kill them. I still imagine him crouching down and watching the bugs travel. If you find the nest you solve the problem. That has worked for me since then. Every year I get field ants crawling all over the driveway so I follow them and problem solved for the rest of the summer. JR knew I hated bugs and stressed over them, he told me once to just not look for them. It was wise advice even if at the time I ignored it, it has become wisdom over time. After JR came my current Tech, Dominick, also terrific and low stress for me. I never thought anyone could match the service JR provided but Dominick has and I could not have ever thought another tech could meet my expectations. Dominick has been reliable and ALWAYS on time in spite of juggling an extremely heavy schedule. His work ethic and pride in his work is obvious. He is organized and has a great memory for my house as to what I want done and HOW I want it handled, such as only a pinstripe in front of the garage or front steps, or what needs extra attention etc... He even notices things I did not see. He services my home like it is his own. I do not want a tech who robotically comes out and just sprays around without particular attention to the bad areas. I call it the ART of pest control----where does MY home need attention.... Dominick does that---his mind is not on cruise control, he is focused and knows the spots needing more or less coverage. I am very particular, high expectations and standards. To that point, one Amish worker of mine decades ago called me "fussy", endearingly of course...."the fussy one" he called me..... His son, now grown up remembers his father dubbing me that all these years later when I called the son to do some work...So when people meet my expectations, they get high reviews. Dominick treats the areas effectively with the proper product. With my stinging insect nests he uses the least toxic thing that will kill the nest in consideration of my concerns for what my dogs will get exposed to. Dominick always calls in the event he might get delayed on rare occasion and lets me know when he is finished and if he noticed anything while he was treating the house. He goes the extra mile every time for years now. I like how if I have a problem he will come out again and they have without fail. The office is busy but they do try over the years to help answer bug questions as the office staff is knowledgeable about them. I never feel rushed or silly for any question. Jeremy in the office the past couple years is super nice and easy to talk to. He does his best to facilitate help ASAP. All the seemingly little things make me a happy customer for 40 years. Molly has talked to me over the phone about bug problems and has come out to handle them.... once she said, "I've never seen so many ants on a driveway." She found them and took care of it and explained how I could reduce their habitat... I like a place where I feel my concerns matter and not blown off. I have learned a lot about bugs from them, mostly from my technician. They identify bugs on the spot and know what attracts them, how to make my yard and home less attractive and how to prevent them in the future. I call my techs, my "bugman" and "best friend" for 6 months of the year! They are low stress which is a plus and the price I pay is worth it and the peace of mind that we work together. Some other companies are not so flexible which would not work for me. My techs have been outstanding and like the longevity they have so I do not have to break in a new one all the time to my preferences and tweaks. Patton Pest Control is a keeper. They have been good to me for a long long time which speaks well for a company. They are flexible with me, I don't get flack, I do not get disrespect but I do get the service that makes me stay with them.

I found mouse droppings throughout my house, in the basement and on both floors and was very creeped out, especially in the kitchen. I called Hillcrest and Mike came out the next day and did an inspection and set up traps and bait boxes. We scheduled an appointment for him to come and check everything two weeks later. Almost immediately there were no more droppings on my kitchen counters. In less than a week I saw a dead mouse in one of the basement traps. I was too squeamish to wait another week for him to come out to remove the dead mouse and replace the trap, so I called and Mike came out the next morning. He removed the mouse, checked and replenished the bait boxes and traps. I am EXTREMELY grateful that he was so responsive and did not try to make me wait another week.
