I called Hillcrest and Mike came out the next day and did an inspection and set up traps and bait boxes. We scheduled an appointment for him to come and check everything two weeks later. Almost immediately there were no more droppings on my kitchen counters. In less than a week I saw a dead mouse in one of the basement traps. I was too squeamish to wait another week for him to come out to remove the dead mouse and replace the trap, so I called and Mike came out the next morning. He removed the mouse, checked and replenished the bait boxes and traps. I am EXTREMELY grateful that he was so responsive and did not try to make me wait another week. We always must call them to remind the company that we paid for their services and we always have to call & ask them to actually come out and perform the work. I called them and the young lady was less than pleasant stating OH! our prices went up. Up from $500 a year to $1,200 a year? more than twice as much without even discussing any of this with us. A customer for more than 15 years. This company has absolutely, inconsiderately & uncaringly decided to just rape & pillage a very long standing customer. Not by raising their prices but the way they have done it. My advice is for customers that need pest control, is to shop around for pricing to make sure they are getting a fair shake. I hired Randy to clean racoon waste out of my attic. After 15 min or so, he stepped somewhere on the dry wall and punched a hole into the bathroom below. He quickly cleaned up and tried to drive off without explaining to me what happened or if he accomplished anything. (which was next to 0). When I confronted him, he gave me a number to 'his' drywall guy who would do the repair. The drywall guy showed up the next day and demanded $670 before starting the work. Fearful the racoons could come back at any time I had to pay him. Randy insisted 4 months ago he would pay me back when business picked up, but he wouldn't give me even $10 to demonstrate he would, so I had to take him to small claims court. No surprise I won. He is refusing to pay me saying I will have to garnish his wages. So I will, but today I'm leaving him my first Yelp Review. They treated the interior of my home, but after the technician left, my iPad went missing, but the charger was still there. I contacted them about this but was told that I had no proof and to use the find my iPad app. When I persisted they accused me of retaliation for the second fee. I filed a police report and now need to get a replacement iPad since I use it for work as well. I didn't appreciate being accused of lying by this company.
