We were lucky to discover this food truck at the Mexica New Year festival at Emma Prusch Park this past weekend. The chochinita pibill (seafood) was tiny but delicious. And they customized a quesadilla for us, with mushroom and carne asada, and it was divine... crisp and flavorful, the juices from the meat dripping onto the plate, tangy salsa and tomatoes on the side. Beyond satisfying. I'm definitely a fan!

Best tacos ever! I recommend giving them a follow on IG so you can check which location they'll be at during the week. I had them a few times at various events in SJ and Morgan Hill. The tacos are a MUST! The chorizo, carne asada, and octopus are amazing! The flavors are on point and just perfect. The wait time really varies at how busy the location is, but it's worth the wait! The staff in the food truck are super friendly and can answer any questions you may have. These tacos are one of a kind, and I highly recommend ordering something from their food truck if you see them around. They have other items like burritos, tostadas, and quesadillas on the menu with lots of other meat options.

Fake nachos with chicken

Super tasty authentic Mexican food truck! Just ordered the 3 tacos: veggie, chicken and veggie; fake nachos (just no velveta but more authentic cojita cheese) with chicken & chicken burrito (yes, their chicken is VERY GOOD! ) All was super fresh and very friendly service with Apple Pay, Venmo, PayPal, credit card as options. Loved the salsa and quick service and great spot outside or Taplands today!

Cannot say enough good things about this food truck. first, it's delicious. 2nd its delicious. I have never had Mexican food like this outside of the Yucatan area. which is where the food is derived from. The food had so much flavor. My husband and I started with 3 tacos, the bean, the chicken and the steak. we ended up going back 3 more times to order more. we thought, ok, we'll get a couple.. then we thought ok, maybe a couple more. next thing you know we are 12 tacos deep! The bean tacos had, I believe octopus, smothered in them. Which I was not expecting, but was incredible. The chicken tacos were good, the beef was better. Maybe just a preference. I would definitely eat the chicken again, but we ordered the bean and steak tacos 2 more times. The guys working in the food truck we seriously working hard! for hours! Between making the food, running the food and answering everyones questions, they were slaying the game! we brought some back home for our teen daughter who scarfed 4 tacos down before she blinked. She loved them! I highly recommend if you see this truck, pull over and get some food!

Needed a quick meal around the N 1st St area and stumbled on this food truck on yelp! It's nestled in between apartments in front of a park. So random but cool! Because the truck is parked in front of the park there's lots of public street parking available. They sell canned soda and bottled water. FYI no diet sodas. I ordered the veggie tacos and was excited because it's rare to come across a Mexican restaurant that serves huitlacoche and their tortillas are hand made. First impression: YUM! I'm a sucker for good tortillas so I love the marbled blue/yellow corn mixture. The mushrooms and huitlacoche were delicious. Their salsas were also on point. I do wish the veggie tacos had a little more filling. I was definitely hungry shortly after eating lol. Anddd the wait was pretty long. There was no line outside around noon and I had to wait 20 mins for my tacos. Not quite a quick meal. I will definitely be a returning customer because the flavors were just so good!! Highly recommend.

Stopped by the Rose Garden farmers market and got a chance to try this food truck. Very grateful that they were here on a rainy day when most of the other trucks and stalls had bailed. I ordered the 3 veggie tacos. They were served on homemade corn tortillas that were a marbling of blue and yellow corn - thick enough to hold the contents easily without cracking. The filling was mushrooms (so flavorful!) and a slice of avocado. I 86'd the cheese to make them vegan. It came with a side of salsa that was spicy and fresh. Husband got the veggie burrito and was also very pleased. It was stuffed with veggies - zucchini, mushrooms - plus rice, beans, avocado, and pico de gallo. He said it was one of the best vegan burritos he's had! The tortillas was also warmed and crisped in a way that didn't get soggy. A great pick for a Saturday morning brunch!

This restaurant is a must-try. We were blown away by the chicken and al pastor, both of which were unlike any other we've ever had. The spices used were unique and different (in a great way) and the proteins were treated with respect, perfectly tender and juicy. The quesadillas were fantastic as well. We had them while we were at DTSJ Brewery, but I think they rotate locations. Can't wait to come back and try out their octopus and chorizo tacos.

This taco truck is amazing. These are by far the best tacos I have had in the Bay Area. Using techniques and ingredients indigenous to the Yucatán area, the check is making incredible, real Mexican food here. The tortillas are clearly made by hand from mixtamilized corn, and you can taste it. I tried the camarones, pollo, y pastor tacos. Each one had a distinct flavor, and good filling to tortilla to topping ratio. The camarones was mild and full of different textures. It paired perfectly with the xnic-pec salsa (which is INCREDIBLE). The pastor is different than what you're used to in the best way. It is prepared using a mix of negra spices, and comes out totally black rather than the atomic orange you see at most places. This results in a more complex flavor that combined with the piña makes for sweet and savory perfect. The pollo really surprised me. I love the anchiote spices which is complex with a balance of sweetness and heat- and the chicken was so juicy. One of the best chicken tacos I've ever had. Do not miss this spot. Support this local business. And enjoy the best tacos in the area, by far.

Shrimp, veggie, and pastor tacos

South bay taco truck with great flavors! Pastor was my favorite, however the veg surprised me (in a great way!) Chef Varguez uses local ingredients in an intentional way. On the pricer side for tacos, but worth a try :)

Best shrimp burrito in the area! Very kind gentleman as well makes the meal even better!

Tacos: shrimp, Al pastor, veggie and chicken.

Wow, just wow. We got four tacos, as well as chips and salsa. Our favorites: shrimp and Al pastor. This food truck is AMAZING. Not only do they rotate locations, they are worth following! Check them out on Instagram, but I will follow them anywhere for these tacos. The staff is so kind and personable as well. The next time you want good tacos, seek them out!!

Tacos are dry. The seafood or pulpo taco is rubbery. The best taco I had was the mushroom one.

As someone who's always on the lookout for authentic North Indian flavors, this place truly impressed me. They serve homestyle Punjabi food, and you can taste the authenticity in every bite. We tried the mix paratha, gobhi paratha, Afghani soya chaap, and garlic naan, and everything exceeded our expectations. The food came out piping hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious--so much so that we didn't even stop to take pictures and just jumped straight into enjoying it! The parathas were perfectly cooked--soft on the inside with just the right crisp on the outside, and generously stuffed. The Afghani soya chaap was rich, creamy, and packed with flavor--definitely a standout dish. What really stood out was how comforting and homely the food felt. It's the kind of meal that instantly reminds you of home-cooked North Indian food, made with care and love. The service is quick, and the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, which adds to the overall experience. They do have a small dine-in setup, but I personally opted for takeout. If you're craving authentic Punjabi flavors in the Bay Area, this place is an absolute must-try. Hidden gem alert--you don't want to miss this one!

Yelp said this place is open till midnight but I wasn't taking any chances driving from Hayward, so I called their number and they confirmed that they are open till midnight, all days! The truck is parked on a 7-11 parking lot on S. Abbot. They have two tables and 4 chairs for people wanting to sit there and eat. We ordered an Achari chaap ( soya protein) and a Rumali roti for my husband. For myself I got their tandoori chicken which came with 2 drumsticks and two thighs. The chicken itself was juicy and definitely well marinated. The achari chaap was a bit tangy for my husband's liking but had great taste and flavor if you ask me. The Rumali roti was soft and fresh. We also had chai which was creamy and hot! Food came out quite fast even though they had said it would take 15 mins. A couple things that stood out were the portions, which were plentiful and the prices which are very reasonable. Sunny the person at the window was super nice and patient taking our order and didn't mind husband and I going back and forth over what we wanted to eat. Hubs wants to go back and try their chole bhature, and I want to try their chaat items next time.

Update (04/19/26): What's the point of staying open late if half the menu isn't available?…read more We got back late from a trip and specifically called in to order chole bhature, since this is one of the few places near us open till midnight. However, we were told that bhaturas (and anything fried) aren't available after 10 PM, which was really disappointing. We were instead offered chole kulche, and since we didn't have many late-night options, we agreed. We were told the order would be ready in 15-20 minutes, but when we arrived, the food already felt cold, like it had been sitting out for a while. It got worse when we reached home--the kulchas were burnt, making the meal quite unpleasant. After a long day of travel, this was the last thing we expected. We were too tired to go back, but honestly, this was not acceptable. If you're advertising late hours, the quality and availability should match. This experience was really disappointing.

The UFC is consistently my favorite choice there. I've tried their other food but every time I order something else, I tell myself it just doesn't live up to the UFC. Their fried chicken sandwich is perfectly crispy, decently sized (I always food coma afterwards), is quick to arrive after ordering, and comes with a bag of Hawaiian kettle chips. Eat On Monday started doing pop up dinner options. This past wknd, we saw that they were doing Garlic Shrimp Hawaiian style and a Curry Tonkatsu plate as well as offering up roscoes ice cream tacos. We got 4 Garlic Shrimp orders and 1 Curry Tonkatsu and 4 ice cream tacos to try. The Curry Tonkatsu was bomb. The Japanese influence Curry was good with the rice and a perfect pairing to the crispy tonkatsu cutlet. I wished I had ordered more servings of this over the Garlic shrimp. The Garlic Shrimp was good but a tad too dry. We needed a garlic sauce to compliment the garlic rice. There was a bit too much raw chopped garlic mixed vs sautéed chopped garlic. Hopefully they make the adjustment. Kids loved the roscoes ice cream tacos for $5 each. We wanted more of the Youngsters (cookies and cream) but it only allowed us to order 1 as it was probably the last one in stock. If you aren't sure what to have for dinner, this was an option for Fri/Sat for us. I think they offer it up via doordash etc as well. They also debated a Thursday night addition when I was picking up our food. Try them out. Good portions.
